    The Chickpeas Curry (Chana daal) recipe is extremely simple to cook and prepare. It requires some of the basic ingredients.

    It is best served with Rice, Fried Fish and pappadum.

    INGREDIENTS :
    For Boiled:
    Chickpeas (Chana daal) - 350g
    Salt - ½ tsp
    Water - 800 ml
    For Cooking :
    Oil - 3 tbsp
    Cumin Seeds - ½ tsp
    Cinnamon Sticks - 2
    Cloves - 3
    Cardamom - 3 pods
    Medium Onions - 2
    Salt to taste
    Ginger + Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
    Medium Tomatoes - 2
    Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
    Crushed Chilli - ½ tsp
    Red Chilli Powder- 1 tbsp
    Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
    Dried Plums - 4
    Chicken Stock - 1
    Green Chillies - 2 or 3
    Ginger - 2 inches (cut slices)
    Coriander Leaves
    Water - 150ml
    Garam Masala - ½ tsp
    Pepper Powder - ½ tsp
