INGREDIENTS :
For Boiled:
Chickpeas (Chana daal) - 350g
Salt - ½ tsp
Water - 800 ml
For Cooking :
Oil - 3 tbsp
Cumin Seeds - ½ tsp
Cinnamon Sticks - 2
Cloves - 3
Cardamom - 3 pods
Medium Onions - 2
Salt to taste
Ginger + Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Medium Tomatoes - 2
Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
Crushed Chilli - ½ tsp
Red Chilli Powder- 1 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Dried Plums - 4
Chicken Stock - 1
Green Chillies - 2 or 3
Ginger - 2 inches (cut slices)
Coriander Leaves
Water - 150ml
Garam Masala - ½ tsp
Pepper Powder - ½ tsp
