I think the reason Pyramid Head has terrible add-ons is because the devs think that he’d be too strong with good addons...but then they let Blight and Spirit have cracked add-ons until like a year ago, so…
Even if they don't become OP, I'd love to see usable addons for pyramid head. I'd love some that change up his power and playstyle. Just give him actual options. - someone who doesn't even play pyramid head
Worse yet, Blight tag is still one of the most insane add-ons in the game. He can straight up do 90 degree turns when he attacks. But adding effects to cages or tormented survivors is too strong, right???
@@lmgdogewowl2474 His only really good add-ons are the range add-ons, the burning man painting (+1.5m) and the wax doll (+1m). You will basically never see a Pyramid Head main running anything else other than those two add-ons. Trail duration add-ons are also useful (mannequin's foot for example), but I find that usually I'm better off not wasting time setting up trails around the map and directly going for chases and quick downs, and instead setting trails at loops. The one that gives Mangled and Haemorrhage for 80 seconds to survivors after you hit them with your M2 (Crimson Ceremony Book) can be also really good if you want to go for an anti-healing build and tunnelling survivors off a cage. If you hit a survivor with your M2 and send them to a cage, then beeline for the uncage notification and tunnel them out, since no hook-related perks will be active (so no DS, BT, OTR, DH, etc.), the survivor will be pretty powerless, tunnelling them will be pretty easy, and they might not have time to get healed due to the Mangled effect
yeah Puttee/Iri Head hardly ever sees play so it can really throw people off, especially when they get cocky and goad a hatchet hit, lmao. i like to run Spirit Fury, Enduring, and Hubris to pressure them to predrop while i line up that Iri hatchet like a laser-guided missile

There's so much they CAN do, but because the most powerful parts of their kits are tied to addons, it means they can only do so much at once. If they had all of they abilities at once, but toned way down for balance, neither of them would be nearly as fun.

Pre-nerf Expired Batteries from Skull Merchant was probably the worst iri addon to ever exist alongside Sadako's Iridescent Videotape. It gave you an incredibly niche effect and a MASSIVE downside, making your claw traps almost useless. Gladly this addon got reworked after SM nerf, and now it's one of her best.
iri tape with VCR can still be fun. You can teleport ahead of survivors to cut them off, and they have no idea what TV you are going to because all TVs play sounds when projecting, and the auras never disappear, which normally lets them know you're teleporting there. Couple that with dead man's switch, and every time they hear a TV activate near their generator is a chance to scare them off. Or if they get desensitized to it, they might make the mistake of ignoring the TV when you have in fact teleported to them. In my experience, many survivors also interact with TVs minimally when they figure out they aren't building up condemn, but smart ones will still turn them off strategically. Anyway, it's still kind of a bad addon, and it SHOULDN'T have the extra time penalty. But it is still pretty fun.
I'm a p100 Pyramid Head. What you said about his addons is absolutely true. However, I think people do undervalue two of his addons in particular and I'd like to shed some light on them so maybe people don't outright disregard potentially powerful options. Everyone knows the range addons are good. That's obvious. But Mannequin Foot and Crimson Ceremony book are also phenomenal addons. Mannequin foot adds 20 seconds to your ground trails lifespan, making it 95 instead of the base 75. This means that in basement rescue situations, or just interrupted unhooks, your trails actually outlast an entire hook stage by 25 seconds. Really useful in shack especially. Crimson Ceremony Book basically is just Sloppy Butcher for his power for 80 seconds. Obviously super useful, especially paired with nurses or something. I'd actually argue this might be his best addon besides Burning Man Painting (green range). However... that brings his total good addons from 3/20 to... 5/20. 25% usable addons... 😬
My poor onroyos mixtape went from evil if played right to straight troll. I mean, obviously it’s good that you can infinitely tele. But it gets rid of her passive pressure
For the Clown's exposed add on, I would make the bottles injure on direct impact, and deep wound on an injured survivor while interrupting. Then I would reduce bottle count by two instead of making it just one bottle
Surprised you didn't mention Nemesis. Considering he's based on the remakes version and one of the most biggest changes he has there is infecting ghouls with the NE-α parasite. I'd swap out the exposed iri for that And just style it like The Doctor's King iri add-on; all zombie related add-ons from brown to purple are combined into one. And just like in the remake, the NE-α parasite will only activate when they see a survivor
After experiencing Dracula's iridescents I firmly believe all killers need an add on pass and make iri's something powerful and unique. they are rare for a reason. This add on pass will also show that a majority of the killer roster use the exact same add ons even if others were previously buffed or made base kit. Doctor for example still needs range and discipline as his base kit increase, as expected for bhvr, was miniscule.
Puttee is pretty understandable to see on the list. I've been enjoying it a lot this event, pairing it with Blight Serum, being m1 only huntress, with haste perks. Batteries Included, Agi, Rapid Brutality, and Stbfl, I'm just walking survivors down all day 😆
I would not bring back release Iri Tape. That add-on was insanely broken. I'm a P100 Sadako, I know what I'm talking about. That add-on made her completely braindead.

I think she's better off with that addon just slightly buffed and, like demogorgon, show survivor aura's for the entire duration of the teleport+3 seconds. That is still lore accurate for Sadako
Sadako's biggest problem right now is add on diversity. Bloody fingernail is basically a must, and then she has three, maybe four, actually worth running in a match. It also doesn't help that she still has some of her original add ons from release that just simply don't work in her current kit. She needs an add on pass BAD, and a good one at that.
The tuning guide for bubba is supposed to be a crutch addon, I have no idea why it's iri. It would be better as a green or yellow. I wouldn't ever use it though I know how to time my sweeps
You forgot some add on and where i'd put them. Iri ring of vladd between sac knight and redheads, as well as vorpol sword between redheads and carborator, waterlogged shoe bellow video tape, matchbox between videotape and shoe, and hardhat between hellshire and soldiors puttee.
Honestly I think tuning guide could be kept the same rarity, but that’s because I have one buff idea that could be added on with its current effects, with it being as follows: If you break a pallet or breakable wall, wooden shrapnel flies out 3 meters forward and injures any survivor in the way. The reason I came up with this idea is because since you use all your charges, you’re likely going to want to hit a survivor over a pallet or breakable wall. This change would make it more rewarding to hit these objects and punish survivors who camp downed pallets, almost acting similar to Billy’s lo pro chains. Not to mention this would be pretty fun to use.
I like the huntress add on but wish it was a lower rarity. When you use your last hatchet and need to get a down it’s nice to get some extra speed to get it done

Artist is one of my most played killers and I disagree with the feather being here. If combined with the ink egg it can seriously catch people off guard for no real downside, allowing you to randomly become undetectable. If you shoot all three birds at random generators to check, and a survivor is swarmed, they have no warning you're coming when you know where they are. Sure she has better addons, but the same could be said for every killer in the game. It doesn't mean the feather is even remotely bad, it's honestly pretty good and really fun, if combined with the ink egg of course. I think there are other iri addons you could have gone with that are far worse and basically do nothing like the Hard Hat for chucky or the iri seal for pyramid head
Im artist main too but I think this is more of a coping mechanism for a meme add on. Sure, it is fun and games add-on, but I would argue that it is completely reliant on survivors being oblivious to from where you shot crows. (So, unless you move far away from that location first without anyone hearing your terror radius or crows not disappearing because of the egg´s detrimental effect). And even then it usually works only once or twice before they start to be on their guard. At best you can close a bit of a distance to them without being noticed thanks to the egg´s 3rd crow cooldown. But even then, are your crows disappearing so fast (thus limiting you anti-loop aspect of your power) worth of that niche effect? There really isn´t any reason to use it over sniping add-ons or her strongest options
I actually really like the iri pyramid head addon Its situational and niche but on maps with high walls, like the meat packing plant, it can be very strong. I pair it with other oblivious/undetectable perks I know ranks dont matter, but im red rank with 8 years experience so your results may vary
Ring of Vlad should be in the list. The homing is so minimal that most hits you'd get with it are hits you would have gotten just by aiming normally anyway, and it takes away a pillar of fire from Dracula's attack. At at the very least Soldier's Puty gives Huntress something, the ring weakens Dracula's special attack and barely offers him anything in exchange.
semi-related, I'd love to see more meme add-ons in the game akin to clown's tape and confetti ones (the only add-ons worth using imo ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)), or do challenge things like the speed limiter with booba. Like the dredge could have an add-on that removes the ability to recall to a position, perhaps instead making his little remnant a trap that inflicts some status ailment on the survivor that runs into it. An add-on to only let larry teleport via cameras, an add-on to have the knight summon a random guard, an add-on to make the UVX explosion into a confetti cloud, etc. I like fun things.

To me, Solider's Puttee was made to complement Iridescent Hatchet not the other way around. Because you only get one Hatchet, after you use it you become faster to either get to a locker or catch up from a missed Hatchet
The Deathslinger add-on should only take effect when he needs to reload, and in turn debuff his reloading speed. That way what you are getting is undetectable M1 killer at 110 speed or detectable ranged killer at 110 speed
If they were to make the iridecent videotape also do something like *"survivors gain a permanent stack of condemn after shutting a TV"* it would make for a genuinely interesting new playstyle. Survivors can counter her map mobility, but suffer the curse and drain a recource. Or they can ignore the TVs and just deal with the mobility. Could even do both, like saving your shut offs for when you need time to heal or finish a gen. Would even make sense lorewise, as the whole point of the cursed tape is to give it to someone else before seven days. Replace "days" with "stacks of condemn" and it makes sense. And the more I think about it, the more I want actual Sadako to play like this. (And to those who think this would be broken, it's an iridecent add-on, aka supposed to be strong. Many other add-ons are even more busted. And many killers are way stronger just by default.)
I think Iridescent Family Crest for Oni is also very underwhelming for being iri addon. My fix - give Oni instead 99% of his ability from the start of the match (so he get his power right after his first hit which is massive for Oni).
When I saw huntress was getting changes at the start of the year. I had assumed they would rework a few add ons then such as soldiers putty. In my opinion the 2 extra hatchets is nice.. but idk how that was the solution to help newer players. Newer players do still sometimes forget to reload or even the off chance u do use a lot of the hatchets at once like hitting multiple ppl at once u can still run low or even out. I would have made soldiers putty base kit with a few tweaks that she did get then as well. And I would have made soldiers putty a whole new add on. Possibly a meme add on that makes her lullaby bigger but decrease her terror radius to throw survivors off. Something not to strong but a good distortion effect and possible if it needs a downside make her lullaby directional again as the only downside. And for clown I feel it could actually have the smoke bomb effect from the Halloween crystals opposed to the flashbang effect

Sadako iri tape should make her do not de-activate tv upon teleporting to it, but gives condemn cooldown on this tv (duration of cooldown = time of being off without this addon), so you would not spam condemnation on one tv. If this would be too op for the Onryo, then increase tv time of being off by 5s, and then maybe 10s if its still too op.
The only good Add-ons I can think about when it comes to Pyramid Head are the ones that increase the range of the punishment of the damned. Almost every other add-on just focuses on how long his trail of torment remains on the map of how fast you charge it up
What i learned in this video is that behaviour overrates undetectable a lot, they think its the most busted thing in the game when in reality is just a mid to good effect
Im genuinely curious what you think a great status effect is, i get an absolute ton of value out of undetectable. Maybe not a grab every time but the little bit closer it can get you can be the difference in the length of a chase often.
I'll put some Trapper iri add-ons there , like they're not bad , but *supposed to be basekit* , like his every 30sec opening traps addon and all traps are with u from the beginning of the game , like just do some of his addons basekit and he will be good
I would change obsidian goblet to reveal the aura of any tormented survivor while the blade is in the ground and have a 3-second lingering effect but reduce the duration of trail of torment by a certain amount and change his other iri add on to reveal all survivor's auras for 6 seconds when a survivor is caged and double the duration for tormented survivors(credit azhymovs)
Personally I think Iris are at their best when they're super unique but also decidedly not the best way to play the killer. Make them enable new playstyles like Acidic Blood creating pallet-eater Xeno or Waterlogged Shoe enabling speed Hag. Bonus points if the two Iris are clearly designed to be paired together in a double Iri build like Myers and Huntress have. Iris are so rare to get that it kinda feels like trash to be locked out of the most effective playstyle unless you have them. Very Rare should be the tier that has the best add-ons IMO.
5:11 I'm a bit confused by the phrasing of this rework. As I understand it, you only lose hatchets when you miss but you're gaining them back every 15 seconds AND if you miss too many in quick succession you move 115%? The hatchet cap would need to be around 2 or 3 beacuse otherwise that seems quite overpowered. Soldier's Puttee is a decent enough add-on but it should be at least be a green. My personal rework would have Soldier's Puttee implemented into Iri Head, maybe nerfing it slightly if need be to something like "For [x] seconds after you run out of hatchets you have increased movement speed".
Might be a unpopular opinion but I think that Compound 33 before the nerf was good and should have stayed how it was, sure the survivors would be hindered for 3 seconds but The Blight was stunned for half of that, that and it made his power more unique which is what iri addons should do
I would add the "Video tape" addon for pig. It ruins your slowdown because suevivors can start and immediately get the trap off, then its a quick genrush and you have no endgame traps. Still not as bad as sadako's though.
While I do agree that add-ons need a rework, especially iridescants, I believe that most changes you suggested are too powerful. I won't go into details but they would make most matches REALLY unfun for one side, which is the case already but for killer. We need one that will balance both!
My idea for an ultra rare addon for dredge is that whenever you teleport to a locked locker and break it the survivor who locked it is exposed for 20 seconds and then it goes on cooldown for a minute
Think that'd hardly be useful, since you wouldn't know who locked it or where that person is, could be on the other side of the map. Also for the same reason Hubris is hardly useful, since survivors just outdistance it.

Its not even a meme, its just random guy getting exposed on other side of a map because you teleported to a locker that has been locked gods knows how long. And even if he wasn´t that far away, it is still easy to outwait 20 seconds because 1. breaking a lock from the inside takes forever = lots of distance for anyone with half a braincell, and 2. you would have to be in a complete dead zone for it to work. No windows, no pallets, no nothing.
The clown finger addon is baffling to me because it's pretty much a strictly much worse version of huntress iri hatchet. Exposed + m1 instead of ranged instadown, and bottles are much harder to directly hit than hatchets because of their slower speed, arc, and small hitbox. If they want to keep its exposed effect, I think it would be interesting if clown still had 7 yellow bottles to use (that does not cause exposed on hit), but only 1 purple bottle with the exposed effect.
Dracula main here- both his iri add-ons are bad. His purple add-ons lapis lazuli and Medusa’s hair are iri-worthy. Vlad’s ring and Alucard’s shield are gimmicky and the homing effect isn’t noticeable (maybe it’s bugged, because I tested it in customs and it makes zero difference). The hellfire in the gate only works on dumb survivors, I even tried it with bloodwarden. Yk what happened? They just dodged the fire. So even in the best situation for the fire to work, it didn’t.
I offer rework ideas for the iridescent add ons. Don't hesitate to debate but please stay nice and dont insulte or be mean. feather for artist. You have one crow BUT if you hit it beyond ...meters, it removes a health state. Or it removes it no matter the range. Reasoning: Promote either a sniping/more proactive way to play artist while not nerfing her chase ending potential but still leaving some room for survivor counterplay. Deathlinger iri: When your gun is aimed down sight you have an undetectable status effect. Reasoning: Give slinger a "scratch mirror" myers power letting killer player be that sneaky scary sniper thats gets you "out of nowhere". Might be too strong or bad. Huntress iri: 1When you have half of your hatchets you move 4.6ms but you are a 4.8ms when you have none. 2 Gives 2 less hatchets BUT you move 4.6ms the whole game but you become a 4.8ms while you have none. Reason: The idea of having a normal speed huntress is interesting making her a lethal threat as both an M1 and M2 killer while making her rely on less hachets making it either a be carefull with it. Dreadge: When under nightfall every pallet and window loop gets blocked for the reminder or nightfall for ... meters around the locker you teleported to. Reasoning: Scary turkey goes brrrrr x) Pinky finger clown: The size of your cloud is twice as big, goes through walls and while you are in it you have undetectable. But it only slows half as much. Reasoning: Not much i just wanted an add on that lets you be less precise but rewards you if you predicts well. Bubba: Everytime you slice walls and pallets you can keep chainsawing but it only removes one health state. It also makes you faster after breaking a pallet or a wall. Reasoning: Making bubba more chase oriented while nerfing him a bit but still making it viable. Pyramid head's goblet: Your power lingers longer, gives you 10 second of lingering undetectable and gives you 15 seconds of undetectable after hitting a punishement of the damned ranged attack. Reasoning: Promote a stealthy playstyle while keeping the idea and making more worthy of an iri. Iri tape sadako: While survivors hold tapes they are oblivious and blind. If a survivor carying a tape gets down with a tape they get 2 condemed stack that stays until the end of the match reasoning: Punishes the survivors for keeping takes longer but also forces sadako to focus taped survivors. (some will say it brings the old sadako back.) Here i let you debate and respond but once more please be and stay respectful.
What if the Obsidian Goblet just gave survivors the oblivious status effect when they step on the trails and for like 15 seconds after instead of an undetectable to the killer?
Feather's undetectable lasting 8 seconds is fine, SM's lasts 1s more because she is a fully melee killer. You can give survivors fake positioning to approach from a different angle, and you can use it to mindgame people in high wall loops. Its just such a departure from what most artist players play her as that a lot of people dont really care about learning a new playstyle for a hero that is already efficient and strong on her normal gameplay. In fact, Iridescent Ring of Vlad is FAR worse than Iridescent Feather.
I'd say Iridescent Video Tape would actually be a nice chase Add-on combined with Bloody Fingernails if it didn't allow Survivors to turn off TV's in the first place. Just keep the TV's on indefinitely but remove the condemn from her.
You should've put Artist's exposure addon instead of the undetectable one, atleast this has SOME use unlike just sniffing someone until they get rid of the crows
There is literally no reason why you should use iri feather over sniping add-ons, baby shoes, hands with bell (if you want niche stealth), hell even garden of rot or hinder + tongue is much better combo. Even at its best with egg´s 3rd crow cooldown, it is incredibly niche, and only works about once or twice (if your survivors are stupid). Walk away from launching place of your crows to surprise them from different angle? Sure, but you risk that they will hear your terror radius anyway before you activate it, or not make enough distance from crows before they disappear due to the detrimental effect of the inky egg. Even garden of rot guarantees you more value than that unreliable mess.

As a former dredge main, ive never even considered using his iri add ons. Highest i ever bothered to go was ottoman writing. It bugs the crap out of me that PHs barbed wire trails dont slow survivors. I believe that as long as they are tormented, every subsequent step on the trail hinders them by 1-2%. Could change the goblet to increase it up to 5% instead of a speed boost to him.
Dude you forgot the iri of chucky, that let the palett break after using scamper. This got so bad, no one use it anymore. Imagine you slide under the palett and you destroy the palett and right after losing the survivor and the survivor gain more distance, and the killers power are gone 🤦🏼
As someone who plays Chucky quite a bit, his Iridescent Hard Hat is pretty redundant. You break pallets that you scamper under, which is not only something that you won't be intentionally doing every match, but can hurt more than it helps since Chucky loves hitting survivors near filler pallets. And to think that it used to have a downside...

Tho the video itself isn't the best quality, I presented my opinions as to why it was fine as it was, and even presented my own idea of a rework should they ever change it. One more thing 5:06 The idea presented for a Soldier's Puttee, and I speak with the utmost respect, is an AWFUL change. There are Huntress' out there that have potential for pinpoint accuracy, meaning they'd effectively have an endless supply of Hatchets, even if they were to miss since the Huntress now has a 15 second window to regain Hatchets. Also, given how short the window is, they will most likely have no opportunity to use the speed boost of being 4.6m/s so they would already have regained a Hatchet in or out of chase making it a pointless effect to have.
Im learning how to play with the Artist and the Iri feather is not only bad but detrimental. You don’t want to be a powerless m1 killer for a effect completely negated by SWFs
I actually got value from Sacrificial Knife. I was on Rotten fields with a bully SWF so I thought I wouldn't get value from my addon. But near the end of the game, I teleported to shack and they finished the Gen in my face and one the survivors decided to T-bag and click me. But as I got out, he ran towards the window but it got blocked and I was able to down him. From there I snowballed and got a 4k. Absolute value from Sacrificial Knife right there.
dredge's sacrificial knife should just be a yellow or make it where all windows on the map get blocked for a bit regardless. like an on-demand claustrophobia.
I am baffled neither of nemesis iris were on here especially over things like pinky finger. Stars badge makes zombies fast but considering they are extremely easy to juke and make them lose agro or just them getting stuck makes it useless. But even worse umbrella badge causes exposed for 60 seconds which can be proced from across the map (it’s gonna take more than 60 seconds to even reach that person) and nemesis is HEAVILY discouraged from using M1’s. Both of these addons do legitimately nothing compared to something like Puttee which atleast gives you some kind of advantage.
Yea I feel the same, being a Nemmy main myself I've mulled over how I would change or rework these addons though some might call them OP changes Iri Star Badge: permanently increase zombie movement speed to 150%. If it needs a weakness? (The Nemesis cannot level passed Mutation 2) Reason: I just feel you dont get value out of its current function, as it only activates when a gen is completed. Even then you dont get value out of it. Iri Umbrella Badge Rework: The Nemesis starts at mutation Tier 3 at the beginning of the trial, using Tenacle Strike on a generator causes it to regress . Weakness: Zombies will not spawn during the trial. Reason: Just dont see the value out of exposing a survivor for using a vaccine, cause then you have to commit to finding them in order to get value. My rework gives Nemesis full value without needing to infect survivors or needlessly destroy zombies to tier up while having the benefit of quickly destroying pallets and walls as well as adding the ability to quickly regress gens with M2 but removes zombies from trial to make it a little fair. Let me know what you think?

Honestly I think moving away from zombies would be my idea for another iri instead of just making them run into walls and get stuck faster lol. Cool ideas though dude
Was this sparked by Hellshire Iron getting dogpiled on reddit? Lol. Honestly my least favorite is still Pinky Finger, in the past it always felt like they were incapable of giving Clown any substantial buffs while he had such a broken addon, but rewarding you for direct hits is an incredible idea - something I think should be base kit, like fx giving the Knock Out muffled audio effect for a couple seconds on hit. As for the addon, I really don't care, it just needs to go.

Iri head is garbage too, having 1 hatchet is not worth the potential insta downs. Its also just boring having to go for only safe hits. The only way I have fun with iri head is playing it with wooden fox on lerrys.
Deathslingers iron is so bad. The point of it is to shoot someone and sneak up on another, but anyone nearby has a directional sound of the shot. If not, you cant even make it out of the sound range in time with the 10 second cooldown. Just a waste of a spot if you ask me
Maybe if they rework it like something "Grants 25-50% more range and makes the chain break 30% slower" just an idea. Not maybe the best addon coz survs could use props to break it from afar but on plain areas you could snipe them so far
Hillbilly's add ons are a really pitiful joke. One decreases the stun duration by 5% and does not work in overdrive, and I actually cannot tell the difference at all. Most of his add ons do this by the way. They do negligible effects that barely even do anything, and don't work with overdrive.
I have to admit, that Leatherface gameplay might be the most fun I have had in a while 😂

Worse yet, Blight tag is still one of the most insane add-ons in the game. He can straight up do 90 degree turns when he attacks. But adding effects to cages or tormented survivors is too strong, right???
@@lmgdogewowl2474 His only really good add-ons are the range add-ons, the burning man painting (+1.5m) and the wax doll (+1m). You will basically never see a Pyramid Head main running anything else other than those two add-ons.
Trail duration add-ons are also useful (mannequin's foot for example), but I find that usually I'm better off not wasting time setting up trails around the map and directly going for chases and quick downs, and instead setting trails at loops.
The one that gives Mangled and Haemorrhage for 80 seconds to survivors after you hit them with your M2 (Crimson Ceremony Book) can be also really good if you want to go for an anti-healing build and tunnelling survivors off a cage. If you hit a survivor with your M2 and send them to a cage, then beeline for the uncage notification and tunnel them out, since no hook-related perks will be active (so no DS, BT, OTR, DH, etc.), the survivor will be pretty powerless, tunnelling them will be pretty easy, and they might not have time to get healed due to the Mangled effect
the huntress addon is meant to be paired with iri head, in which you only have 1 hatchet so if u miss a close up hit u can m1 chase easier
yeah Puttee/Iri Head hardly ever sees play so it can really throw people off, especially when they get cocky and goad a hatchet hit, lmao. i like to run Spirit Fury, Enduring, and Hubris to pressure them to predrop while i line up that Iri hatchet like a laser-guided missile

Pre-nerf Expired Batteries from Skull Merchant was probably the worst iri addon to ever exist alongside Sadako's Iridescent Videotape. It gave you an incredibly niche effect and a MASSIVE downside, making your claw traps almost useless.
Gladly this addon got reworked after SM nerf, and now it's one of her best.
That's what bad iridescent addons deserve!

iri tape with VCR can still be fun. You can teleport ahead of survivors to cut them off, and they have no idea what TV you are going to because all TVs play sounds when projecting, and the auras never disappear, which normally lets them know you're teleporting there. Couple that with dead man's switch, and every time they hear a TV activate near their generator is a chance to scare them off. Or if they get desensitized to it, they might make the mistake of ignoring the TV when you have in fact teleported to them. In my experience, many survivors also interact with TVs minimally when they figure out they aren't building up condemn, but smart ones will still turn them off strategically.
Anyway, it's still kind of a bad addon, and it SHOULDN'T have the extra time penalty. But it is still pretty fun.
I'm a p100 Pyramid Head. What you said about his addons is absolutely true. However, I think people do undervalue two of his addons in particular and I'd like to shed some light on them so maybe people don't outright disregard potentially powerful options.
Everyone knows the range addons are good. That's obvious. But Mannequin Foot and Crimson Ceremony book are also phenomenal addons.
Mannequin foot adds 20 seconds to your ground trails lifespan, making it 95 instead of the base 75. This means that in basement rescue situations, or just interrupted unhooks, your trails actually outlast an entire hook stage by 25 seconds. Really useful in shack especially.
Crimson Ceremony Book basically is just Sloppy Butcher for his power for 80 seconds. Obviously super useful, especially paired with nurses or something. I'd actually argue this might be his best addon besides Burning Man Painting (green range).
However... that brings his total good addons from 3/20 to... 5/20.

After experiencing Dracula's iridescents I firmly believe all killers need an add on pass and make iri's something powerful and unique. they are rare for a reason. This add on pass will also show that a majority of the killer roster use the exact same add ons even if others were previously buffed or made base kit. Doctor for example still needs range and discipline as his base kit increase, as expected for bhvr, was miniscule.
Puttee is pretty understandable to see on the list. I've been enjoying it a lot this event, pairing it with Blight Serum, being m1 only huntress, with haste perks. Batteries Included, Agi, Rapid Brutality, and Stbfl, I'm just walking survivors down all day 😆
I would not bring back release Iri Tape. That add-on was insanely broken.

That's why I only made it so that the last TV you teleported to got on! The old iri tape activated the last 4 which was absolutely crazy IMO

Sadako's biggest problem right now is add on diversity. Bloody fingernail is basically a must, and then she has three, maybe four, actually worth running in a match. It also doesn't help that she still has some of her original add ons from release that just simply don't work in her current kit. She needs an add on pass BAD, and a good one at that.
The tuning guide for bubba is supposed to be a crutch addon, I have no idea why it's iri. It would be better as a green or yellow. I wouldn't ever use it though I know how to time my sweeps
You forgot some add on and where i'd put them. Iri ring of vladd between sac knight and redheads, as well as vorpol sword between redheads and carborator, waterlogged shoe bellow video tape, matchbox between videotape and shoe, and hardhat between hellshire and soldiors puttee.
Honestly I think tuning guide could be kept the same rarity, but that’s because I have one buff idea that could be added on with its current effects, with it being as follows:
If you break a pallet or breakable wall, wooden shrapnel flies out 3 meters forward and injures any survivor in the way.
The reason I came up with this idea is because since you use all your charges, you’re likely going to want to hit a survivor over a pallet or breakable wall. This change would make it more rewarding to hit these objects and punish survivors who camp downed pallets, almost acting similar to Billy’s lo pro chains. Not to mention this would be pretty fun to use.
I like the huntress add on but wish it was a lower rarity. When you use your last hatchet and need to get a down it’s nice to get some extra speed to get it done

Artist is one of my most played killers and I disagree with the feather being here. If combined with the ink egg it can seriously catch people off guard for no real downside, allowing you to randomly become undetectable. If you shoot all three birds at random generators to check, and a survivor is swarmed, they have no warning you're coming when you know where they are. Sure she has better addons, but the same could be said for every killer in the game. It doesn't mean the feather is even remotely bad, it's honestly pretty good and really fun, if combined with the ink egg of course.
I think there are other iri addons you could have gone with that are far worse and basically do nothing like the Hard Hat for chucky or the iri seal for pyramid head
Im artist main too but I think this is more of a coping mechanism for a meme add on. Sure, it is fun and games add-on, but I would argue that it is completely reliant on survivors being oblivious to from where you shot crows. (So, unless you move far away from that location first without anyone hearing your terror radius or crows not disappearing because of the egg´s detrimental effect). And even then it usually works only once or twice before they start to be on their guard.
At best you can close a bit of a distance to them without being noticed thanks to the egg´s 3rd crow cooldown. But even then, are your crows disappearing so fast (thus limiting you anti-loop aspect of your power) worth of that niche effect?
There really isn´t any reason to use it over sniping add-ons or her strongest options

Ring of Vlad should be in the list. The homing is so minimal that most hits you'd get with it are hits you would have gotten just by aiming normally anyway, and it takes away a pillar of fire from Dracula's attack. At at the very least Soldier's Puty gives Huntress something, the ring weakens Dracula's special attack and barely offers him anything in exchange.
For obsidian goblet for Pyramid Head, I'd say change it to Decrease the range of the ranged attack but apply torment on hit
semi-related, I'd love to see more meme add-ons in the game akin to clown's tape and confetti ones (the only add-ons worth using imo ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)), or do challenge things like the speed limiter with booba. Like the dredge could have an add-on that removes the ability to recall to a position, perhaps instead making his little remnant a trap that inflicts some status ailment on the survivor that runs into it. An add-on to only let larry teleport via cameras, an add-on to have the knight summon a random guard, an add-on to make the UVX explosion into a confetti cloud, etc. I like fun things.

To me, Solider's Puttee was made to complement Iridescent Hatchet not the other way around. Because you only get one Hatchet, after you use it you become faster to either get to a locker or catch up from a missed Hatchet
The Deathslinger add-on should only take effect when he needs to reload, and in turn debuff his reloading speed. That way what you are getting is undetectable M1 killer at 110 speed or detectable ranged killer at 110 speed
If they were to make the iridecent videotape also do something like *"survivors gain a permanent stack of condemn after shutting a TV"* it would make for a genuinely interesting new playstyle.
Survivors can counter her map mobility, but suffer the curse and drain a recource.
Or they can ignore the TVs and just deal with the mobility.
Could even do both, like saving your shut offs for when you need time to heal or finish a gen.
Would even make sense lorewise, as the whole point of the cursed tape is to give it to someone else before seven days.
Replace "days" with "stacks of condemn" and it makes sense.
And the more I think about it, the more I want actual Sadako to play like this.

I think Iridescent Family Crest for Oni is also very underwhelming for being iri addon. My fix - give Oni instead 99% of his ability from the start of the match (so he get his power right after his first hit which is massive for Oni).
I never knew the original version of the VHS Tape add-on. I've only seen the modified sadako add-on, which literal made me laugh at how bad it was.
When I saw huntress was getting changes at the start of the year. I had assumed they would rework a few add ons then such as soldiers putty. In my opinion the 2 extra hatchets is nice.. but idk how that was the solution to help newer players. Newer players do still sometimes forget to reload or even the off chance u do use a lot of the hatchets at once like hitting multiple ppl at once u can still run low or even out. I would have made soldiers putty base kit with a few tweaks that she did get then as well. And I would have made soldiers putty a whole new add on. Possibly a meme add on that makes her lullaby bigger but decrease her terror radius to throw survivors off. Something not to strong but a good distortion effect and possible if it needs a downside make her lullaby directional again as the only downside. And for clown I feel it could actually have the smoke bomb effect from the Halloween crystals opposed to the flashbang effect

Sadako iri tape should make her do not de-activate tv upon teleporting to it, but gives condemn cooldown on this tv (duration of cooldown = time of being off without this addon), so you would not spam condemnation on one tv. If this would be too op for the Onryo, then increase tv time of being off by 5s, and then maybe 10s if its still too op.
Soldiers puttee as caught me off guard at loops a few times because i expect her to be slower

The only good Add-ons I can think about when it comes to Pyramid Head are the ones that increase the range of the punishment of the damned. Almost every other add-on just focuses on how long his trail of torment remains on the map of how fast you charge it up
What i learned in this video is that behaviour overrates undetectable a lot, they think its the most busted thing in the game when in reality is just a mid to good effect
Im genuinely curious what you think a great status effect is, i get an absolute ton of value out of undetectable. Maybe not a grab every time but the little bit closer it can get you can be the difference in the length of a chase often.

I would change obsidian goblet to reveal the aura of any tormented survivor while the blade is in the ground and have a 3-second lingering effect but reduce the duration of trail of torment by a certain amount and change his other iri add on to reveal all survivor's auras for 6 seconds when a survivor is caged and double the duration for tormented survivors(credit azhymovs)
Personally I think Iris are at their best when they're super unique but also decidedly not the best way to play the killer. Make them enable new playstyles like Acidic Blood creating pallet-eater Xeno or Waterlogged Shoe enabling speed Hag. Bonus points if the two Iris are clearly designed to be paired together in a double Iri build like Myers and Huntress have.
Iris are so rare to get that it kinda feels like trash to be locked out of the most effective playstyle unless you have them. Very Rare should be the tier that has the best add-ons IMO.

5:11 I'm a bit confused by the phrasing of this rework. As I understand it, you only lose hatchets when you miss but you're gaining them back every 15 seconds AND if you miss too many in quick succession you move 115%? The hatchet cap would need to be around 2 or 3 beacuse otherwise that seems quite overpowered. Soldier's Puttee is a decent enough add-on but it should be at least be a green. My personal rework would have Soldier's Puttee implemented into Iri Head, maybe nerfing it slightly if need be to something like "For [x] seconds after you run out of hatchets you have increased movement speed".
Might be a unpopular opinion but I think that Compound 33 before the nerf was good and should have stayed how it was, sure the survivors would be hindered for 3 seconds but The Blight was stunned for half of that, that and it made his power more unique which is what iri addons should do
I would add the "Video tape" addon for pig. It ruins your slowdown because suevivors can start and immediately get the trap off, then its a quick genrush and you have no endgame traps.
Still not as bad as sadako's though.

While I do agree that add-ons need a rework, especially iridescants, I believe that most changes you suggested are too powerful.
I won't go into details but they would make most matches REALLY unfun for one side, which is the case already but for killer. We need one that will balance both!
My idea for an ultra rare addon for dredge is that whenever you teleport to a locked locker and break it the survivor who locked it is exposed for 20 seconds and then it goes on cooldown for a minute
Think that'd hardly be useful, since you wouldn't know who locked it or where that person is, could be on the other side of the map. Also for the same reason Hubris is hardly useful, since survivors just outdistance it.

And even if he wasn´t that far away, it is still easy to outwait 20 seconds because 1. breaking a lock from the inside takes forever = lots of distance for anyone with half a braincell, and 2. you would have to be in a complete dead zone for it to work. No windows, no pallets, no nothing.
The clown finger addon is baffling to me because it's pretty much a strictly much worse version of huntress iri hatchet. Exposed + m1 instead of ranged instadown, and bottles are much harder to directly hit than hatchets because of their slower speed, arc, and small hitbox. If they want to keep its exposed effect, I think it would be interesting if clown still had 7 yellow bottles to use (that does not cause exposed on hit), but only 1 purple bottle with the exposed effect.
Dracula main here- both his iri add-ons are bad. His purple add-ons lapis lazuli and Medusa’s hair are iri-worthy. Vlad’s ring and Alucard’s shield are gimmicky and the homing effect isn’t noticeable (maybe it’s bugged, because I tested it in customs and it makes zero difference). The hellfire in the gate only works on dumb survivors, I even tried it with bloodwarden. Yk what happened? They just dodged the fire. So even in the best situation for the fire to work, it didn’t.
I offer rework ideas for the iridescent add ons. Don't hesitate to debate but please stay nice and dont insulte or be mean.

You have one crow BUT if you hit it beyond ...meters, it removes a health state. Or it removes it no matter the range. Reasoning: Promote either a sniping/more proactive way to play artist while not nerfing her chase ending potential but still leaving some room for survivor counterplay.
Deathlinger iri:
When your gun is aimed down sight you have an undetectable status effect.
Reasoning: Give slinger a "scratch mirror" myers power letting killer player be that sneaky scary sniper thats gets you "out of nowhere". Might be too strong or bad.
Huntress iri:
1When you have half of your hatchets you move 4.6ms but you are a 4.8ms when you have none.
2 Gives 2 less hatchets BUT you move 4.6ms the whole game but you become a 4.8ms while you have none.
Reason: The idea of having a normal speed huntress is interesting making her a lethal threat as both an M1 and M2 killer while making her rely on less hachets making it either a be carefull with it.
Dreadge: When under nightfall every pallet and window loop gets blocked for the reminder or nightfall for ... meters around the locker you teleported to.
Reasoning: Scary turkey goes brrrrr x)
Pinky finger clown: The size of your cloud is twice as big, goes through walls and while you are in it you have undetectable. But it only slows half as much.
Reasoning: Not much i just wanted an add on that lets you be less precise but rewards you if you predicts well.
Bubba: Everytime you slice walls and pallets you can keep chainsawing but it only removes one health state. It also makes you faster after breaking a pallet or a wall.
Reasoning: Making bubba more chase oriented while nerfing him a bit but still making it viable.
Pyramid head's goblet: Your power lingers longer, gives you 10 second of lingering undetectable and gives you 15 seconds of undetectable after hitting a punishement of the damned ranged attack.
Reasoning: Promote a stealthy playstyle while keeping the idea and making more worthy of an iri.
Iri tape sadako: While survivors hold tapes they are oblivious and blind. If a survivor carying a tape gets down with a tape they get 2 condemed stack that stays until the end of the match
reasoning: Punishes the survivors for keeping takes longer but also forces sadako to focus taped survivors. (some will say it brings the old sadako back.)

What if the Obsidian Goblet just gave survivors the oblivious status effect when they step on the trails and for like 15 seconds after instead of an undetectable to the killer?
Calling the Soldier's Puttee not only trash, but the worst Iri addon, is bold when Phead's Iris exist.
Feather's undetectable lasting 8 seconds is fine, SM's lasts 1s more because she is a fully melee killer. You can give survivors fake positioning to approach from a different angle, and you can use it to mindgame people in high wall loops.
Its just such a departure from what most artist players play her as that a lot of people dont really care about learning a new playstyle for a hero that is already efficient and strong on her normal gameplay.
In fact, Iridescent Ring of Vlad is FAR worse than Iridescent Feather.

There is literally no reason why you should use iri feather over sniping add-ons, baby shoes, hands with bell (if you want niche stealth), hell even garden of rot or hinder + tongue is much better combo. Even at its best with egg´s 3rd crow cooldown, it is incredibly niche, and only works about once or twice (if your survivors are stupid). Walk away from launching place of your crows to surprise them from different angle? As a former dredge main, ive never even considered using his iri add ons. Highest i ever bothered to go was ottoman writing.
It bugs the crap out of me that PHs barbed wire trails dont slow survivors. I believe that as long as they are tormented, every subsequent step on the trail hinders them by 1-2%. Could change the goblet to increase it up to 5% instead of a speed boost to him.

As someone who plays Chucky quite a bit, his Iridescent Hard Hat is pretty redundant. You break pallets that you scamper under, which is not only something that you won't be intentionally doing every match, but can hurt more than it helps since Chucky loves hitting survivors near filler pallets.
And to think that it used to have a downside...

The idea presented for a Soldier's Puttee, and I speak with the utmost respect, is an AWFUL change.
There are Huntress' out there that have potential for pinpoint accuracy, meaning they'd effectively have an endless supply of Hatchets, even if they were to miss since the Huntress now has a 15 second window to regain Hatchets.
Also, given how short the window is, they will most likely have no opportunity to use the speed boost of being 4.6m/s so they would already have regained a Hatchet in or out of chase making it a pointless effect to have.
Im learning how to play with the Artist and the Iri feather is not only bad but detrimental. You don’t want to be a powerless m1 killer for a effect completely negated by SWFs
I actually got value from Sacrificial Knife. I was on Rotten fields with a bully SWF so I thought I wouldn't get value from my addon. But near the end of the game, I teleported to shack and they finished the Gen in my face and one the survivors decided to T-bag and click me. But as I got out, he ran towards the window but it got blocked and I was able to down him. From there I snowballed and got a 4k. Absolute value from Sacrificial Knife right there.

dredge's sacrificial knife should just be a yellow or make it where all windows on the map get blocked for a bit regardless. like an on-demand claustrophobia.
I am baffled neither of nemesis iris were on here especially over things like pinky finger. Stars badge makes zombies fast but considering they are extremely easy to juke and make them lose agro or just them getting stuck makes it useless. But even worse umbrella badge causes exposed for 60 seconds which can be proced from across the map (it’s gonna take more than 60 seconds to even reach that person) and nemesis is HEAVILY discouraged from using M1’s. Both of these addons do legitimately nothing compared to something like Puttee which atleast gives you some kind of advantage.

Iri Star Badge: permanently increase zombie movement speed to 150%. If it needs a weakness? (The Nemesis cannot level passed Mutation 2)
Reason: I just feel you dont get value out of its current function, as it only activates when a gen is completed. Even then you dont get value out of it.
Iri Umbrella Badge Rework: The Nemesis starts at mutation Tier 3 at the beginning of the trial, using Tenacle Strike on a generator causes it to regress . Weakness: Zombies will not spawn during the trial.
Reason: Just dont see the value out of exposing a survivor for using a vaccine, cause then you have to commit to finding them in order to get value. My rework gives Nemesis full value without needing to infect survivors or needlessly destroy zombies to tier up while having the benefit of quickly destroying pallets and walls as well as adding the ability to quickly regress gens with M2 but removes zombies from trial to make it a little fair.

@ honestly I really love the Iri umbrella badge idea you have, I think making nemesis lose the info from zombies in return for an op power early on is honestly a pretty fair change. Honestly I think moving away from zombies would be my idea for another iri instead of just making them run into walls and get stuck faster lol. Cool ideas though dude

Honestly my least favorite is still Pinky Finger, in the past it always felt like they were incapable of giving Clown any substantial buffs while he had such a broken addon, but rewarding you for direct hits is an incredible idea - something I think should be base kit, like fx giving the Knock Out muffled audio effect for a couple seconds on hit.
As for the addon, I really don't care, it just needs to go.
At this point we need a massive perk and add on rework for the entire game😭
In my opinion , concept of rework for dredge iri addon is too op . Dredge mains will abuse it in small maps and killer will become too lethal with no counter
Iri head is garbage too, having 1 hatchet is not worth the potential insta downs. Its also just boring having to go for only safe hits. The only way I have fun with iri head is playing it with wooden fox on lerrys.
Deathslingers iron is so bad. The point of it is to shoot someone and sneak up on another, but anyone nearby has a directional sound of the shot. If not, you cant even make it out of the sound range in time with the 10 second cooldown. Just a waste of a spot if you ask me
Maybe if they rework it like something "Grants 25-50% more range and makes the chain break 30% slower" just an idea. Not maybe the best addon coz survs could use props to break it from afar but on plain areas you could snipe them so far
Hillbilly's add ons are a really pitiful joke.
One decreases the stun duration by 5% and does not work in overdrive, and I actually cannot tell the difference at all. Most of his add ons do this by the way. They do negligible effects that barely even do anything, and don't work with overdrive.
BHVR should add the ability to sell Offerings and Addons for Bloodpoints. This is how I would get rid of useless things.
