MKS TFT repair and overview part 1

In this video I try to resurrect MKS TFT 3.2" display for my 3d printer, which suddenly died on me without any reasonable explanation. I also go over functionality of the display on a unit which works correctly.

Hi, perhaps you can help me. I bought souch a display, but it doesnt communicate with my Ramps. If i meassure the TXD Pin with my Oscilloscope there is only a 5V Signal without communication. I tried to find out where the pin is connected to the µC. I found no connection to the µC. The only connechtien i figured out was to two resistors at the left side of the connector. Can you meassure out at one of your boards where it has to be connected to? Thanks. Perhaps i have also a defective wire at my board ;)

Hi Artur, Well that bytes the big one! I would go to the mfr website and request an RMA , Ebay purchased or not. Their board failed and they are accountable. You sound tired my friend...summer is short, enjoy it as much as you can.

Hi, where can i find a bootloader dump for this board? I flashed a wrong firmware and now when i wire the board to the mks sbase 1.3 its bricked (black display, no backlight and no blue LED on the back)
