Oh man ya gotta watch some UA-cam on how to lay some flagstone and use some Perk Grout as filler in the gaps or leave big gaps for the grass to grow through and rain a mower over it looks great either way, just don’t give it the straight line look like ya have it, just scatter it out in different lengths and sizes big and smaller pieces all mixed together. lol hey to Natasha 🍺
I have flagstone paths everywhere around my yard. I have a friend that is a stone mason. He’d call me periodically and ask if I’d like some stones he had leftover from his jobs. Getting them level is always a pain to me!
Looks nice but I have a different suggestion that Natasha might like better. Start at the fire pit area and go around it several rows so when you're sitting there your chairs are on the flagstone and have a hard surface (in case it rains the day before and there's mud around the pit area. That way the chairs don't sink in and your boots stay clean. Then use the remaining stones to lead directly to the end of the patio near driveway. It looks like there's no grass there so that means muddy area when it rains. You just covered up practically the only real grass you had. I hope you can fix it before the grass dies. It's a beautiful lush yard, don't waste it.

Much more peaceful that way I think, though I don't think your road is much traveled! By the way, when are you moving up here? Much better living here than in the Houston area!

When weeds grow through the gaps. Use vinegar and salt mixture to pour over cracks. Weeds will die. Gallon of vinegar lots of salt mixture
