  • On August 8, 2021, we took our daughter out on the boat to show her our new lifestyle. We ate well and relaxed. Eric made his famous beer batter and deep fried fresh halibut! Here is our journey in our Nordhavn 55 with Distin our Havanese. Learning more everyday!

    another great episode. Thank your daughter for me for being a nurse! When I was 18, I'm 61 now, I had a bad car accident and was in traction for over 5 months and in the hospital for over 6 months. Broken Femur. Nurses were literally my lifeblood and did EVERYTHING for me! I adore nurses and they should be treated and paid MUCH better than they are right now!

    I think that was a nice landing. I never expect my wife to get the lines the way I would like so she just makes us fast and I take it from there. Congratulations on having a smart daughter... Nursing school is not easy😎

    Halibut. My absolute favorite seafood along with scallops! I used to live on the Columbia River and Sturgeon tastes a lot like halibut.

    Thanks for the ride. It was great seeing Blaike! That was some rough looking weather. I think you wouldn't run like a "girl" if you had some shoes on! Oh, and put some gloves on to pull that rope! OK the "mom" in me will stop now. Enjoyed you journey.

    • @havaseas
      @havaseas  2 роки тому

      LOL! Yes, I was thinking the shoes looked out of place. Those shoes have incredible traction though. After falling off the dock and into the water, traction is a critical concern for me. I am thinking about the gloves with these wooden docks. Down south they had cleats. Nice to have you watching! Hope the smoke isn't getting to you.

      Eric helped his Dad with a fish charter as a young man. That is why he isn't too keen on fishing with me cause I don't kill and clean the fish. He also commercial fished for a short time.
