Is the same method used to remove 944 bearings with the later aluminium trailing arms?

Thanks! I'm about to do this myself, even bought a small press for the job. Quick question - Did you determine which side of the bearing was magnetised? I've read conflicting info about the importance of this.

It wasn't important for the sensor setup. I might have oriented it based on the printing on the bearing. Can't remember I'm afraid.
