Nobody's voice has ever touched me like Simone's does especially when paired with this type of music. I could listen to it for hours on end even without the music in the background. She is just incredible.
At least from my experience, your opinion about an Epica song is never fully formed until you listen it some good 20 times. It usually starts in "well, this is kinda weird", then you listen again, and again, and again, and when you see you've listened to the music a thousand times and it is INSANELY FUCKING AMAZING!
That is also true. When you listen to this song and just think about the words "The Holographic Principle", you see that the song fits right into the album's theme. I really think this will be an album-defining song (as The Essence of Silence and Unchain Utopia are for TQE, Storm the Sorrow is for RFTI, Unleashed and Martyr of the Free World for DYU and so on).
Simone is an A+ frontwoman as always, but I think Mark really stole the show during the bridge of the song- his emotional portrayal looked truly authentic, and that's something to be admired and appreciated. Overall, the band looks like they're having fun and enjoying a healthy group dynamic- Epica is in top form these days!
man i dont care what anyone else says i fucking love this song. yeah simone is singing in a lower voice, which is great why would i want every song to be the same? it just shows she has a huge range.
no me canso de verlos, cada album se ponen mejor y mejor, evolución constante sin salir de su esencia... totalmente genial.... solo e tenido el placer de verlos 2 veces en vivo pero quisiera verlos mil veces más
Theyre the best and so amazingly Sweet and Humble. If you want an intensely epic album The Divine Conspiracy and the Quantum Enigma. This album is pretty great too, Shoot All of their albums are amazing.
They're doing their best to bring new material to us, to improve, change and do something new as all bands should do. Epica is always creating new different songs and improving in the symphonic metal scenary. Every album they release is different from the previous and that's why you never get sick of them. The band always do their best and will keep doing it for a long, long time, I hope. This song is good, not their best and heavy but still good. THP is a lot heavier than this song and I'm counting the days for the release. Thank you, Epica!
thoroughly agree that they do everything to improve their style and change something. I mean look at Sirenia. personally i like this band a lot but still they are in the same place. they change their vocalists but they don't move with times. The Seventh Life Path exposes perfectly the same repetitive patterns. over and over again after all these years
Epica's changes are all bests, I like all of their stuff. I like Sirenia too, but only a few albums. Saventh Life Path is good and a quite dark, I really liked it. Was the best album they released in a long time (the band followed another path I didn't enjoy but came back lestening them with SLP). Now that he band has another vocalist I think they'll change something but Ailyn was/is the best. Same thing with Tristania. From 2007 after their song started to get boring, their worst albums actually, but it changed with Darkest White in 2013.
Leandro Azevedo well, I liked all albums with Vibeke. Some songs were slower/darker/more doom/ boring than the others (from Ilumination mainly, where the lack of soprano is disappointing) but still I adored her voice . Those albums with Mariangela are quite ok, but after Vibeke's departure Tristania is not symphonic gothic anymore. It's just gothic. Im neither a fan of her work nor hater. However Year of the Rat is simply genius
Really, how can people not see the difference between this song and the older ones? They are using the same elements (the choir, the heavy riffs from DYU, the oriental colors) in an entirely different and refreshing arrangement. They are definitively evolving from the decaying symphonic metal movement, where all the bands are trying to reproduce the early nightwish's atmosphere (and not succeeding). Does it sound a little poppy? Yes! But it is a good thing, it is progress. It will serve to refresh Epica's fan base, for them to get rid of all the old-school closed-minded people who evaluate music based on labels rather than feelings and quality. Maybe the metal scenario should learn a little with pop music to transform into something bigger, new and exciting again. Who knows? Anyway, loving the new work!
What do you mean by 'pop??????' That you don't consider Simone's lines in this song a little poppy or you are against the idea that metal should incorporate pop elements more often?
It doesn't really sound poppy.. it sounds a bit more 'techno', and when you consider the title of the album the holographic principle and it's about technology.. it's fitting.
I saw Epica live as an opener for Overkill and they blew me away. Been a fan ever since. This song is great. Epica always delivers and I'd dare say even has evolved their sound. Haters can hate all they want. "True fans" can hate all they want but I will support the sound they are going for.
Yeah, for some reason, there's some catchiness to this song that I can't even explain. Tbh, when TQE came out. It took me a while to absorb it which is completely the opposite when THP came out. Weird.
Lyrics: Time to break through the anger Hunt down the remnants of the everlasting myth Incinerating hands that touched your graceful face In their mysterious ways The scorching scars have left an everlasting visual trace Now they're blinding and rewinding Time to break through the anger Hunt down the remnants of the everlasting myth Cherish your hunger for resentment and dismay And then come out to play Cascading colors meticulously all washed away Time for choosing not for losing Defying the fire reviving within Time to break through Your walls are soaring high They are disarranging The surface on which we build our own lie Time to break through the anger Hunt down the remnants of the everlasting myth Your wish for virtual perfection seems inane But try and you will evolve Your paragon possessed your inner self to no avail No more waiting, no debating Defying the fire reviving within Time to break through Your walls are soaring high They are disarranging The surface on which we build our own lie Don't throw your life away Remain the same Watch your back, now feel the heat You've fooled the world one more time And now that you've seen with open eyes All of us are incomplete It's time to break through Your walls are soaring high You can even try to Break through the perfect state of mind And now you break through You'll reach beyond the sky You should never ever build on the surface made of lies Time to break through the anger Hunt down the remnants of the everlasting myth
It amazes me how they keep getting better and better with the years! And all their hit songs are such a great mixture of metal, upbeat catchy melodies and great voices!! I hadn't listened much to them the last years but I'm hooked again!!!
Wow, Thx for that great Song! It has something old in it (oriental influences, splitted choirs in male and female) and something newer (harder guitars, double screaming) and something really new (that flute from Universal Death Squad I always remember as very good) I love it! I want that Album!
Gotta say, Mark's vocals have definitely improved over time since The Phantom Agony. Sounds slightly less like a belt sander now. I love the song and everything I've heard from the album but imo youtube's sub-par quality destroys this song. Can't wait to have a CD :D
He's had trouble with the lows for the past couple years. Funny thing is, Isaac Delahaye can still do some pretty decent growls, maybe he should contribute more studio-wise.
I thought it was cookie monster :) I generally dislike cookie monster metal singing but when its used sparingly it adds nice contrast. I can't want for the album
Hmmm, I've never been big fan of this band but CTO and DYU were exceptional albums. RFTI had its moments too. This is - I don't know... Polished, well executed and predictable to tears.
I've been listening to Epica for five years and I like them a lot. Each album offered something new but both Universal Death Squad and now this song have been really predictable. I don't like them as much as I liked The Essence of Silence and Unchain Utopia or Storm the Sorrow and Monopoly on Truth. I really hope that the rest of the album will be better but at the same time I doubt it.
Actually, when I go back and listen to RFTI, I think it is incredibly underwhelming and disappointing. I definitely prefer THP to RFTI. But that is just my opinion, everyone can listen to whatever they like.
I love the early ambition, and then think Design Your Universe is my favourite. But, as no band should stagnate, I listen to each album and judge how I'd rate as a new band. This is slick, professional and powerful, and as high quality as ever
(Edge of the blade) (Time to break through the anger) (Look for the remains of the everlasting me) Incinerating hands that touched your graceful face In the mysterious ways These scorching scars are last the everlasting visual drains Never minding, and rewinding (Edge of the blade) (Time to break through the anger) (Look for the remains of the everlasting me) Cherish your hunger for resentment and dismay And then come out to play Cascading colors, meticulously I'll wash away Time for choosing, not for losing Defying (defying) the fire (the fire) Reviving within Time to break through Your walls are soaring high They are disarranging the surface And we're tripping in our own lie (Edge of the blade) (Time to break through the anger) (Look for the remains of the everlasting me) Your wish for virtual perfection seems in vain It's trying to evolve Your paragon possessed you in a self [?] of way No more waiting, no depending Defying (defying) the fire (the fire) Reviving within Time to break through Your walls are soaring high They are disarranging the surface And we're tripping in our own lie Ooh, aah Don't throw your life away Ooh, aah You know the sin Watch your back Now feel the heat Look for the world One more time And now can't you see with open eyes All of us are incomplete? It's time to break through Your walls are soaring high You can even try to break through A perfect state of mind And now you break through You reach beyond the sky You should never, ever burn out The surface is made of light (Edge of the blade) (Time to break through the anger) (Look for the remains of the everlasting me)
Can't you all see that the point is that Epica still sound like Epica (it's the same, because, for example, Epica isn't Nightwish, they all have their own trade mark) and at the same time, THP doesn't sound like TPA or TDC because, after more than 10 years they cannot sound the same way. It's a mix of both things. I love even more Epica because of that, they are capable to sound different and at the same time still be attached to their own roots.
Your music didn't only give me confidence and power to face the downs i've been going through.. but they also helped me feel empowered when doing gym lol I gues my muscles love to grow on Epica's music
Time to break through the anger Hunt down the remnants of the everlasting myth Incinerating hands that touched your graceful face In their mysterious ways The scorching scars have left an everlasting visual trace Now they're blinding and rewinding Time to break through the anger Hunt down the remnants of the everlasting myth Cherish your hunger for resentment and dismay And then come out to play Cascading colors meticulously all washed away Time for choosing not for losing Defying the fire reviving within Time to break through Your walls are soaring high They are disarranging The surface on which we build our own lie Time to break through the anger Hunt down the remnants of the everlasting myth Your wish for virtual perfection seems inane But try and you will evolve Your paragon possessed your inner self to no avail No more waiting, no debating Defying the fire reviving within Time to break through Your walls are soaring high They are disarranging The surface on which we build our own lie Don't throw your life away Remain the same Watch your back, now feel the heat You've fooled the world one more time And now that you've seen with open eyes All of us are incomplete It's time to break through Your walls are soaring high You can even try to Break through the perfect state of mind And now you break through You'll reach beyond the sky You should never ever build on the surface made of lies Time to break through the anger Hunt down the remnants of the everlasting myth
HOLY SHIT, this is awesome in a celestial level. At the "TIME TO BREAK THROUGH THE ANGER" I just can't control myself, the choir and the guitars are insane. LOVE FROM BRASIL
OMG what I love the most is that they look lke a band, and if you have been following the documentary for this album you'll see that in this video it reflects, you see them rocking together, is not a vocalist, is not a singing style, its not just songs...finally they are coming across as a full band playing together...I love Epica is reaching the seniority of a band that already knows whats good at and is not apologizing for doing it big time! More of this!
I don't care about stupid negative comments. NUCLEAR BLAST you just made my day, week, months and year. THANK YOU EPICA for this work, high quality video and message. Really appreciate it.
Right? What I love most about Epica. Every song is a gift to the world. That's probably just my ego talking, but I feel like this kind of music really helps change the world in some way. They have strong accurate meanings in their music, they're sharing wisdom in a very creative way.
I must say, there has never been a single Epica song I did not end up liking after a few listens. There were those that were immediate favorites, and then there were those that took a few tries - this one for example. But in the end, I've loved every song that has come from them. Amazing stuff.
This is their best album so far. I don't give a fuck about people saying otherwise, this album is diverse, far from formulaic, somewhat unpredictable, technical, symphonic, grandiose, cacthy, and memorable. Everyone is doing their absolute best, Mark's vocals are finally on par with the rest of the band, Simmone is incredible as always, the riffs are awesome, the orchestration feels alive and you can tell comes from real musicians, Isaac solos are pretty good and the band feels confident, mature and really tight. 9/10 one of my favorite albums of the year so far.
Great song! It reminds me of "Burnt to a cinder" only more ... ... ... epic. I am looking forward to catching them live for the first time in beautiful San Francisco, though I am avoiding purchasing a presale just in case "something" happens and the date gets canceled.
I would give literally anything to have Epica do a song with Simone Simons and Alissa White Gluz dueting. No offence to Mark his vocals have improved over the years but Alissa would sound incredible with Epica
It's not that Mark isn't good but that, after recently discovering Arch Enemy recently, I feel that it would just be a treat to her them collaborate. Clean or growls. It would be a real treat
Shit I've been listening to epica for 20 years and they still are new 🎉🎉🎉 i faking trip on they're music every time xxxx mark is breaking through to another world
oh man, I just loved it. The song is different, in a good way, with a powerful chorus. The video combined perfectly with the music, getting fast or slowing down in a sweet way and simone was brilliant, her movements and dancing let me astonished. Very excited about the upcoming album.
I like how all their albums incorporates something new but always still retain that certain sound that makes you always know its them even if you didn't know it was their song to began with. And the growls have certainly improved since The Phantom Agony.
just starting to broaden my horizons when it come to female metal singers and this is definitely is one that I am enjoying...love the operatics and range....very beautiful
Let's sum up everyone's feelings when listening to this song in a neat little timeline, shall we. Intro: "Ok, this is decent." First Verse: "This is a little weird. Don't know if I like it or not..." First Chorus: "Ok, not bad. Not bad..." Second Chorus: "This is really starting to grow on me now..." Bridge: "This is heavy and bad ass!" Last Chorus and Outro: "HOLY SHIT THIS SONG ROCKS!"
To all those who are whining about Epica's changes in music style: change is natural, change happens even while I type this message and we all have to go through change in our lives and if you don't like it, listen to their other songs.
Well I'm a happy little camper \m/. Great way to end a long day with a new kick ass tune from one of my favorite bands. Curious to hear the rest of the album.
I don't know what ya'll are hearing, but I'm definitely of the opinion that this is Epica's best "catchy" single. Storm the Sorrow is close, but the chorus here is so strong.
Nobody's voice has ever touched me like Simone's does especially when paired with this type of music. I could listen to it for hours on end even without the music in the background. She is just incredible.
100% agree
Goddess Smoon ❤️
At least from my experience, your opinion about an Epica song is never fully formed until you listen it some good 20 times.
It usually starts in "well, this is kinda weird", then you listen again, and again, and again, and when you see you've listened to the music a thousand times and it is INSANELY FUCKING AMAZING!
This is the most true statement I have ever heard.
So true!!! It always happens to me too. I thought this one was weird yet here I am for the 67th time
True. Listening to a song in the context of an album can really change your perspective on a song, too.

3:13 lol holy shit that riff just kicked in the fuckin' door
That burn was so bad you'll need to capture the Avatar in order to restore your honour.
+The Abyssal Archivist No no no, make him play the Dark Souls series under strong narcotics and only allow him to get up for a drink or toilet visits.
So the average "Anti-SJW"?
wait so the average anti-sjw is a dark souls player that almost never stops playing?
More or less. You can swap Dark Souls for something a little more base like Call of Duty if need be.
Simone, she is one of the greatest vocalists out there! 👌👌
Simone and floor are the best
I mean, yeah.
@Lord Raiden Also Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil
@Lord Raiden Heard Amy Lee live & wasn't very impressed.
@Riker_Jedi_JamesCheck out Adrienne Cowan from Seven Spires. One of the most versatile singers out there. Insanely talented.
Even more top form in 2024! Good points my friend 🤘🏻
man i dont care what anyone else says i fucking love this song. yeah simone is singing in a lower voice, which is great why would i want every song to be the same? it just shows she has a huge range.
I loved it ! First time I see Simone headbanging in a video ! The video it's full of energy !!!
Check out Unleashed video.
but that not as powerful as in this video
I wouldn't call that Headbanging.
More like energetic head wigling
Giant Dad Whatever counts :)
*More like energetic head wigling*
I lol'd.

I've just discovered Epica today and im just blown away

Haha me neither, but 1 year later lol.. These guys rock and this song is AWESOME!
Theyre the best and so amazingly Sweet and Humble. If you want an intensely epic album The Divine Conspiracy and the Quantum Enigma. This album is pretty great too, Shoot All of their albums are amazing.
I understand you, my mate!

This song makes me feel so nostalgic, I don't know why.
Maybe it's because this is not Epica's new single anymore.
It's hard for me to believe THP is now 4 years old.
Epica's first album makes me nostalgic too, this band have something of sadness in their music, maybe is the essence of this....
This band is , and has been nothing but awesome. Love everything they do
A voz da Simone é perfeita. Me acalma por dentro sinto algo divino.
Same here
Really, how can people not see the difference between this song and the older ones? Her vocals is really unique plus the symphony of the orchesta adds more quality to it. Thats why I love Epica so much.
Let's be honest....you could never get tired of listening to this.
Yeah, for some reason, there's some catchiness to this song that I can't even explain. Tbh, when TQE came out. It took me a while to absorb it which is completely the opposite when THP came out. Weird.
@@RusselF013 totally agree dude.
After 5 years I'm always coming back to this song
The chorus of the song is tremendously catchy 😆
I almost always listen to the entire album because it's the greatest piece of music of the last decade
Fiquei um tempo sem ouvir essa banda mas isto agora acabou. Nunca me canso de ouvi-los.
I LOVE this song. Really catchy and very Epica at the same time
Taking a trip down memory road listening to all the songs i've forgotten. This one's song 2.
Simplemente espectacular! se nota la evolución en su voz y lo técnico de la pieza como tal. Brutal
Lyrics:
Time to break through the anger
Hunt down the remnants of the everlasting myth
Incinerating hands that touched your graceful face
In their mysterious ways
The scorching scars have left an everlasting visual trace
Now they're blinding and rewinding
Time to break through the anger
Hunt down the remnants of the everlasting myth
Cherish your hunger for resentment and dismay
And then come out to play
Cascading colors meticulously all washed away
Time for choosing not for losing
Defying the fire reviving within
Time to break through
Your walls are soaring high
They are disarranging
The surface on which we build our own lie
Time to break through the anger
Hunt down the remnants of the everlasting myth
Your wish for virtual perfection seems inane
But try and you will evolve
Your paragon possessed your inner self to no avail
No more waiting, no debating
Defying the fire reviving within
Time to break through
Your walls are soaring high
They are disarranging
The surface on which we build our own lie
Don't throw your life away
Remain the same
Watch your back, now feel the heat
You've fooled the world one more time
And now that you've seen with open eyes
All of us are incomplete
It's time to break through
Your walls are soaring high
You can even try to
Break through the perfect state of mind
And now you break through
You'll reach beyond the sky
You should never ever build on the surface made of lies
Time to break through the anger
Hunt down the remnants of the everlasting myth

Essa banda nunca me decepciona. Achei ótima a mudança.

forever my favorite band. i freaking love you guys! and simone is a freaking goddess!
Great song!!! i love this keyboard lead & strings!
DAMN! Her moves are so beautiful
Wow, Thx for that great Song! It has something old in it (oriental influences, splitted choirs in male and female) and something newer (harder guitars, double screaming) and something really new (that flute from Universal Death Squad I always remember as very good) I love it! I want that Album!
So I am not the only one who recognices the flute ^-^
I think they will use it and other percussions more often on this album
Who ever is filming/editing their music video is incredibly talented!
Gotta say, Mark's vocals have definitely improved over time since The Phantom Agony. Sounds slightly less like a belt sander now. I love the song and everything I've heard from the album but imo youtube's sub-par quality destroys this song. Can't wait to have a CD :D
Well he still isn't the best live.
+The Abyssal Archivist true enough. Saw them earlier this year, he was decent enough, if he was a bit louder he'd probably have been great
He's had trouble with the lows for the past couple years. Funny thing is, Isaac Delahaye can still do some pretty decent growls, maybe he should contribute more studio-wise.
I thought it was cookie monster :) I generally dislike cookie monster metal singing but when its used sparingly it adds nice contrast. I can't want for the album

Your wish for virtual perfection seems in vain
It's trying to evolve
Your paragon possessed you in a self [?] of way
No more waiting, no depending
Defying (defying) the fire (the fire)
Reviving within
Time to break through
Your walls are soaring high
They are disarranging the surface
And we're tripping in our own lie
Ooh, aah
Don't throw your life away
Ooh, aah
You know the sin
Watch your back
Now feel the heat
Look for the world
One more time
And now can't you see with open eyes
All of us are incomplete?
It's time to break through
Your walls are soaring high
You can even try to break through
A perfect state of mind
And now you break through
You reach beyond the sky
You should never, ever burn out
The surface is made of light
(Edge of the blade)
(Time to break through the anger)
(Look for the remains of the everlasting me)
Can't you all see that the point is that Epica still sound like Epica (it's the same, because, for example, Epica isn't Nightwish, they all have their own trade mark) and at the same time, THP doesn't sound like TPA or TDC because, after more than 10 years they cannot sound the same way. It's a mix of both things. I love even more Epica because of that, they are capable to sound different and at the same time still be attached to their own roots.
Can't get enough of this track.
I can hear simone's lyrical voice in the choir parts. Beautiful soprano. she's come a long a way for sure =)
Acompanho epica desde 2009 e a cada álbum lançado mais amor pela banda eu tenho
Amazing sound. Great mix of instruments and sounds. Great job. Guys and gals.
I have my tickets ready for Épica in Monterrey México 🤟🏻🖤🎶🎶 octuber 21, 2019
Your music didn't only give me confidence and power to face the downs i've been going through.. but they also helped me feel empowered when doing gym lol I gues my muscles love to grow on Epica's music
Of all Dutch symphonic metal bands, Epica has the most hair. I like them for that.
Excited for them to Come to Denver Colorado! just got my tickets.
Great! Once again an excellent style of music, keep your rhythm! You didn't disappoint me! Looking forward to the album.
The album is already out since last week and it's a masterpiece :D
The way her voice is mixed makes me think of Hillary Duff. Anyone else hear it? It’s different than she usually sounds.
Loved it! Can't wait for the concert!
It's EPIC!
This is awesome.. Congratulations Epica..!!!
volta ao passado,música lembra muito ao epica das antigas.
Time to break through the anger
Hunt down the remnants of the everlasting myth
Incinerating hands that touched your graceful face
In their mysterious ways
The scorching scars have left an everlasting visual trace
Now they're blinding and rewinding
Time to break through the anger
Hunt down the remnants of the everlasting myth
Cherish your hunger for resentment and dismay
And then come out to play
Cascading colors meticulously all washed away
Time for choosing not for losing
Defying the fire reviving within
Time to break through
Your walls are soaring high
They are disarranging
The surface on which we build our own lie
Time to break through the anger
Hunt down the remnants of the everlasting myth
Your wish for virtual perfection seems inane
But try and you will evolve
Your paragon possessed your inner self to no avail
No more waiting, no debating
Defying the fire reviving within
Time to break through
Your walls are soaring high
They are disarranging
The surface on which we build our own lie
Don't throw your life away
Remain the same
Watch your back, now feel the heat
You've fooled the world one more time
And now that you've seen with open eyes
All of us are incomplete
It's time to break through
Your walls are soaring high
You can even try to
Break through the perfect state of mind
And now you break through
You'll reach beyond the sky
You should never ever build on the surface made of lies
Time to break through the anger
Hunt down the remnants of the everlasting myth
HOLY SHIT, this is awesome in a celestial level. At the "TIME TO BREAK THROUGH THE ANGER" I just can't control myself, the choir and the guitars are insane. LOVE FROM BRASIL
Awesome band Epica with amazing vocals by simone simons what amazing guitarlist and fantastic drummering 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎤🥁🥁🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼
I see them in Zamora (Spain) last weekend. They open their show with this. AMAZING!!!!!
I don't care about stupid negative comments. NUCLEAR BLAST you just made my day, week, months and year. THANK YOU EPICA for this work, high quality video and message. Really appreciate it.
You mean Nuclear Blast. Napalm Records is a different label.
Thanks UA-cam for the Modifying option... lmao
Simply awesome, great job again guys! Can't wait for the full release!
Live they are so awesome. Saw them yesterday
Their genius has always been in the subtlety of the progression of their sound. Their body of work is nothing short of an achievement.
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. Honestly, it's probably one of my favorites of theirs.
Eu amooooo essa banda❤️ i love this Band ❤️
I love you EPICA. The best symphonic metal band in the world. From Italy
essa musica merece um clipe ao vivo !!
Ça me fait comme essence of silence... plus j'écoute et plus j'aime !
This song sounds seriously bad ass when they play it live. Wish I was at a show right now. Good times.
I love Simone calm voice. I can present this song to non-operatic-metal fans :)
Damn.. How can anyone not like operatic vocals in metal :) Simone doesn't use it too much. In Tides of Time it's stunningly beautiful.
@SImone@Simons
Simone Simons you are the queen of heavy duty sir and the original hang 2 keep up the good work from your biggest fan dj from the USA
Great song! It reminds me of "Burnt to a cinder" only more ... ... ... epic. I am looking forward to catching them live for the first time in beautiful San Francisco, though I am avoiding purchasing a presale just in case "something" happens and the date gets canceled.
AWESOME!!!!!!!
It would be a real treat
try Elizabeth Andrews from Frantic Amber, that would be fun!!
Love this chorus !!!
That was a awesome song.
Ça l'est toujours ;)
I really want another album like The holographic PrinCiple!!
Gostei !!!!!! O refrão gruda na cabeça! uhauhahua
phantastic song. We are awaiting your album this month - and your europe tour
Best Sound since The Divine Conspiracy! OMG!
Shit I've been listening to epica for 20 years and they still are new 🎉🎉🎉 i faking trip on they're music every time xxxx mark is breaking through to another world
e tem gente que não gosta disso! não sabem o que estão perdendo, mas sobra mais pra mim.
oh man, I just loved it. The song is different, in a good way, with a powerful chorus. The video combined perfectly with the music, getting fast or slowing down in a sweet way and simone was brilliant, her movements and dancing let me astonished. Very excited about the upcoming album.
Muito bom. Música de alta qualidade
Instrumental are awesome ! They are genius !
I like Simone's dancing. It's cute.
This is one of their best albums. It's beautiful and life changing
A melhor cantora de todos os tempos 😍
Somehow I just love the first twenty seconds of this song. I just listen to them over and over again without the rest
Let's sum up everyone's feelings when listening to this song in a neat little timeline, shall we.
Intro: "Ok, this is decent."
First Verse: "This is a little weird. Don't know if I like it or not..."
First Chorus: "Ok, not bad. Not bad..."
Second Chorus: "This is really starting to grow on me now..."
Bridge: "This is heavy and bad ass!"
Last Chorus and Outro: "HOLY SHIT THIS SONG ROCKS!"
This spoke to me spiritually 😂
After that i pick my guitar tryng to replicate the riff , but how i suck i put thsong again
The opening reminds me of Ghost Division by Sabaton.
Or, as in my case, you love the entire thing from the start :3 :D \m/
For me the intro was: "Damn I wanna dance!"
To all those who are whining about Epica's changes in music style: change is natural, change happens even while I type this message and we all have to go through change in our lives and if you don't like it, listen to their other songs.
Damn, i love the way she headbangs at the end
Well I'm a happy little camper \m/. Great way to end a long day with a new kick ass tune from one of my favorite bands. Curious to hear the rest of the album.
It has been a long time since a band wanted us to decifer lyrics that made you smarter.
Edge of the blade, una des mis canciones favoritas,y este año que venga a Honduras hare mis sueños echos realidad
I don't know what ya'll are hearing, but I'm definitely of the opinion that this is Epica's best "catchy" single. Storm the Sorrow is close, but the chorus here is so strong.
