I agree torque is the #1 safety feature, and that's why i initially left onewheels for EUCs, however for curb nudges, i thing geometry helps more than torque. I don’t have crypto, so I’m not getting the ADV because they only allow crypto and I don’t have that kind of time to just make a crypto account because I don’t trust it
@@hoeliris7984here’s the thing they only take crypto and crypto is sketchy if you don’t know how to use it. additional payment options beyond cryptocurrency would be beneficial, especially for those who cannot access crypto payment options. And when you have a crypto account or when you open one you can’t immediately just use it you have to wait quite a bit before you can actually use your crypto to buy stuff. when ordering a float wheel, the order usually arrives in multiple boxes which further delays the delivery process. And I believe most people want their board fast. This significantly slower delivery compared to one wheels, makes it impractical and it makes more sense to invest in Focer for boards and Vesc as an alternative. Because it doesn’t take months for a vesc to arrive and it’s just a controller you have to put in a Onewheel XR.
ATR may get you up a hill but it is often very late and poor in guessing if you would ACTUALLY want your nose to go up, it feels very bad compared to a real Onewheel. Also you can’t just tell people to slow down… you sell product, you must build a speed limit in… I suggest telling people to use erpm based pushback on first setup

Hey Tony, please do not go the racing route. Please make a trick board next. For now racing is a thing. But it's not the future. Look at every other board sport. Sk8boards had slalom and what not. Snowboards had boarder-x. But nobody cares about that anymore, cause you can do so much more impressive and cool things on those boards. Same goes for BMX and MTB. So please don't bother with the GT-S racing stuff and instead continue to pushing the sport forward. Racing can be fun too. But there's much more than that.
🙏
I agree wholeheartedly. Style beats speed every single time.
Oh I've been thinking this the whole time too. As a snowboarder, I couldn't care less about snowboard racing. That was so 90s.
FM is stuck in the '90s
@@djd7421 Exactly what I'm thinking. FM doesn't understand what their product is about.
@@Eryktion lets make a normal XR comeback and smoke GTS? im in
@@floatwheel this would be epic, especially if you enabled the XR community to modify their boards to be better than the GT. You could call it the Floatwheel ADHD
Some complained Tony didn't do a more fair trial by not riding GT with better technique. Personally I can't tell if Tony rode both wheels equally competently or equally incompetently. But are those people saying if a more fair trial was conducted, we will see GT is more capable at hill climb than FW?
it is what it is
Just wait until the boards are put on a dyno, that will give us more definitive numbers. At the moment ADV is the only board that gets me up the hills around home.
"Slow the f down people" 😂 😅 yaaa we do ride to fast....
Damn, FM should be embarrassed. I hate that squeaking/grinding noise the motor makes when it's struggling.
Tony cmon man. That hill is easy
It's crazy all the hating when all you're doing is trying to build a more affordable unit for everyone to enjoy don't see what's wrong with that... Not to mention onewheel has had many years to make and products better product in 10 years I could only imagine were yours will be everyone needs to be more supportive and stop hating rock on brother keep doing you and living life I can only hope to own a adv one day ... Vrap on brother
How did you get on cue a bunch of Chinese people to walk down that hill all of a sudden
idk they appear outta nowhere🤣
Love what your doing man you definitely have a nice board better than the gt s
At least! how much I miss you
I’m not gonna lie this is kinda BS your using a not full potential GT because of no custom shaping with a floatwheel that has its ATR cranked so far up that it’s practically vertical
Love you tony
Still buying a GT
“sTiLL bUyiNg a GT”
@@floatwheel what? I prefer my stock gt over anything else. And yes I have ridden your adv pro and I’ve ridden other vesc boards and I just like feel and ride my gt gives
@4:59 slow the f down ppl!!
Really good point on apples to oranges.
LMAO 🤣🤣🤣
Tony you should piggy back off of FM's 6.5in hub and put the largest diameter stator in there as you can. That will be a colossal motor and will destroy everything.
Good idea idea but GT's rim in the wild is disaster, I constantly worry that the rim might crack when I go over pot holes.
@@floatwheel That is the caviat, it still irks me though that FM created it and proceeded to not use the extra realestate. It doesnt make any sense to me and I just want someone to design a motor to use the pointless standard. Or heck skip 6.5in entirely and make some crazy 7in hub and put a bigger tire on with extra sidewall.
@@erosion01 6.5 with 12inch tire might work
@@erosion01 then we have 145x90 stator, that could be epic
Please don't go with a bigger rim. Please... watch now as we see 5" gain huge popularity.
🥱😴🥱😴
Guys, don’t buy the this guys hype 😂😂😂 He’s desperate… Just look at these videos, holy cow 🤣
I don’t have crypto, so I’m not getting the ADV because they only allow crypto and I don’t have that kind of time to just make a crypto account because I don’t trust it
Do what you want man, it just worked for everyone of us so I don't know, maybe change your mind on the crypto thing?
Worth it
sounds like you're missing out
ATR may get you up a hill but it is often very late and poor in guessing if you would ACTUALLY want your nose to go up, it feels very bad compared to a real Onewheel.
Also you can’t just tell people to slow down… you sell product, you must build a speed limit in… I suggest telling people to use erpm based pushback on first setup
You can tune VESC ATR response speed.... Saying onewheel ATR response is better than VESC is a blind claim
Your riding posture could use some work. Maybe not just putting all of your weight over the front would be a more fair showing. Also if you are showing a custom tune on your board but not this one, it’s an unfair trial
now its my fault this lil crying bitch cant climb?I be had enough of people trying to say it's riders error, this lil bitch is what it is, you can hire lots of people to make propaganda video on how the GT flying up hill, in the end It doesn't do it for me sorry not sorry, stop lying to people with marketing and put actual power in your products!
I mean yeah. Riding posture could use work but the idea that you can hang 10 off the front of the board and it still climbs up is still worth something no?
@@floatwheelcalling a top rider a lil bitch when you look like you just started riding yesterday, by accident..
😂
@@floatwheel why are you talking to people like that if you’re a creator of a one wheeled skateboard. you are making yourself look bad and based on this message you speak like an insecure teenager. I'm sorry
Tony need a Floatwheel Factory Team. I volunteer Daddo, Maxx, and Gergo Kiss and his Burnerz crew.
