Sassy James is best James IMO. "I have nothing against the dish, but don't call it Bacon" "Should we season it?" "The Recipe didn't call for that" "Okaaayyy" 😂😂
They’re so proper and well spoken in the UK and I love it. It’s kind of funny because in the US if you use words like that, half the time people around you will assume you’re being a pretentious know it all lol. Even though they’re normal words lmao 😅
5:30 on a Saturday morning and I’m working…shouldn’t be but here we are. But excited to listen to this and watch on my break. Cheers gents! Have a good weekend yourselves!
I'm so glad you featured the Chinese candy. My daughter keeps begging me to try it but I'm afraid of the mess and waste. This solidified my decision. Leaving it to professionals.
"or just play in the background whilst you do your chores" Guilty 😭 I usually have to rewatch some episodes twice because im not paying attention. Is it bad to admit you make for the best easy watch background content? (But also top tier to pay attention to, dont get me wrong lol)
I also find myself re-watching content because my adhd brain just gets sidetracked. pretty sure I am responsible for many of their views unless YT only counts one view for each account haha
Nice to see James back. You have to play Tim Minchin's song 'Predjudice' for him! And I still want to see what chefs would do with an emu egg! They would be coming into season right now with us going into spring. I believe they can be sourced through the internet. Feed the whole family!
Just a note, Big Macs are beef, lettuce, cheese, Big Mac sauce (aka thousand island dressing) and sesame seeds are the flavors. Also, salt and pepper the beef. the recipe Jamie used is more akin to the classic cheeseburger
For the iced frothy coffee, I'd use coffee ice cubes. I make them using any leftover coffee from a pot of coffee. They don't dilute the beverage when they melt.
I've enjoyed steeping tea in ginger ale (or mineral water) for decades. I grew up on unsweetened sun tea, so it wasn't too much of a leap. *In the seventies and eighties, there weren't the plethora of flavor options, for bottled teas and sodas, as are readily available now.
Re the Flying Dutchman. In n Out always wrap their burgers in paper, keeping the contents together whether or not it has a bun. Not nearly as messy as made at home.
I'm trying to think if SORTED has ever done like food myths (kind of like what mythical kitchen does). I think they would do a really good job at testing the differences in cooking techniques. What you are told to do vs what a normal home cook would do. For Reference I was watching at 43:00 and have always heard from other chefs / food influencers that seasoning egg before it is cooked will denature the proteins or something but they seem to not mind seasoning in the bowl (also kind of like their bay leaf experiment). This seems right up Ben and Kush's nerdy food science side and still give the normals something silly to fight them over making for really good banter.
Just a reminder: many, many people have gotten 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns from trying to make tanghulu, so this is one to leave to the professionals
i do agree with that. many people (especially children) have been to the hospital because of it. don’t try it at home, or at least know the risks and be careful!
If you wanted to give it a slightly Mediterranean Middle Eastern twist you could have taken the sumac added some onions and oil to it and then let them sit the onion sit in the sumac and oil and then when you're ready to make the dish throw that in. Usually sumac the way of described it here with oil and onion is usually used as a condiment for any kind of dish that has a pita.
And the uptick in price is hilarious, because lettuce is far cheaper than bread and is already readily available to them in the restaurant. Anything for a buck, right?
probably they took it from older yt videos so the quality goes down ? maybe ? but its a thing on these marathon videos that the older videos are rly low quality
@@flexingchicken My best guess is that them having to take the already processed (and potentially compressed?) videos and stringing them together in another longer video that then needs processed (and I think compressed for youtube?) again ruins the resolution overall and the quality is worse. I fully don't know how it works, but my guess is it's like when you take an image and upload it somewhere, then someone else takes it and reposts it somewhere else, and so on until you can count the number of pixels.
Ever since y'all aired the kunaffa chocolate tiktok trend vid, I've been plagued by ads of the same thing on Instagram. I had no idea it was a thing, let alone that so many people were selling it.
I wish they'd do something with cloud bread. I can't seem to keep mine from absolutely deflating, even if I allow it to cool in the oven like meringue.
Totally unrelated to anything in this video, but something I experienced recently. My most schway of girlfriends recently made a gravy. Full-on roux, but instead of water she used dill-pickle brine from a redacted local retailer's shelves. This went on a lovely porkchop, to replace a dill mayonnaise. Would absolutely love to see Jamie try that, as he's so good with flavour bombs. Janice, make it happen!
I was fine with all these except the Sprite Tea. It's just... the fizziness. I have done the egg sandwich thing with ham/turkey deli slices, cheese, and jam before with great results.
have you all seen the 1,000 steak covered in gold leaf? I saw a funny reel where they brought out men with guns to safely deliver the steak to the table. It looked so epic and definitely frivolous, but the experience seemed cool!!
Suppose that you were sitting down at a table. The napkins are in front of you, which napkin would you take? The one on your ‘left’? Or the one on your ‘right’? The one on your left side? Or the one on your right side? Usually you would take the one on your left side. That is ‘correct’ too. But in a larger sense on society, that is wrong. Perhaps I could even substitute ‘society’ with the ‘Universe’. The correct answer is that ‘It is determined by the one who takes his or her own napkin first.’ …Yes? If the first one takes the napkin to their right, then there’s no choice but for others to also take the ‘right’ napkin. The same goes for the left. Everyone else will take the napkin to their left, because they have no other option. This is ‘society’… Who are the ones that determine the price of land first? There must have been someone who determined the value of money, first. The size of the rails on a train track? The magnitude of electricity? Laws and Regulations? Who was the first to determine these things? Did we all do it, because this is a Republic? Or was it Arbitrary? NO! The one who took the napkin first determined all of these things! The rules of this world are determined by that same principle of ‘right or left?’! In a Society like this table, a state of equilibrium, once one makes the first move, everyone must follow! In every era, this World has been operating by this napkin principle. And the one who ‘takes the napkin first’ must be someone who is respected by all. It’s not that anyone can fulfill this role… Those that are despotic or unworthy will be scorned. And those are the ‘losers’. In the case of this table, the ‘eldest’ or the ‘Master of the party’ will take the napkin first… Because everyone ‘respects’ those individuals.
Any ingredient that doesn't measure based of 1 egg annoys me.. yeah just use 1.5 tsp of egg and put the rest in the fridge. I kind of agree with the sandwhich not having egg or at least it's better when it's a fried egg with runny yolk and that yolk mixes with the cheese then the egg is a bonus.
I miss James. That sassy ginger is truly brilliant. Not to say Jamie, Baz, Mike, Ebbers & Kush are not brilliant, because they are. I just miss the ginger muscles ❤😊
You can make anything into cereal trust me my mother for the longest period of time and I'm talking about my biological mother the woman who gave birth to me but wasn't very much of a mom she had a habit of taking matzah putting sugar on top and then pouring her coffee and this she would then eat as cereal... Which is why I say nothing surprises me in the cereal department.
I have been mixing my tea w/ 7up for years make a cuppa let it cool some sugar not a lot then add 7up..i did not know this was a thing. I am as old as dirt BTW

"I have nothing against the dish, but don't call it Bacon"
"Should we season it?" "The Recipe didn't call for that" "Okaaayyy"
😂😂
2 of my favorite characters in one video, James and Jamie, Jamie with his big bubbly energy, James reserved dry humor, chefs kiss 🤌🏾
“This is so labourious” in that tone is the most wonderfully British thing I’ve heard Barry Taylor say and this American is here for it.

It made me jump when Kush said 'Play this video in the background while you're doing your chores'... because that's exactly what i'm doing! 😃
Same, I just folded like 3 loads of laundry which I was procrastinating for a while now xD
Never doubt that Kush knows all.
This is totally what I always do
I always watch Sorted when I'm cooking or baking 😊😊

I love these marathon videos! It's nice having longer content to play while doing chores/work around the house and still getting all the laughs
Watch a cooking video at 5 in the am on a Saturday...nice
Same but 4 am during work downtime lol....
@@auggie532 Wibbly wobbly, timey wimey.

Love the “samosas”. Could do fab variations of them and bake them (like a boring mum) for school lunches.

75 minutes of Ebbers getting frustrated at social media's stupidity? Sign me up!
I might even pay for that. :D

The big mac triangles would be great for a kids party or a picnic. Could also do as apple/fruit turnover ??
I feel like they'd be great wrapped in rice paper as well to make big mac egg rolls!
Just a note, Big Macs are beef, lettuce, cheese, Big Mac sauce (aka thousand island dressing) and sesame seeds are the flavors. Also, salt and pepper the beef. the recipe Jamie used is more akin to the classic cheeseburger
(I worked at a McDs during Uni)
Can we get a side by side video? You watch an old video critique it and cook that dish but with your current experience.
Mike reminds me of the living embodiment of .... Eeyore....but he's a hell of a cook
With the little pancakes could you make a big one then use a small round cutter & cut out small ones??? X
Such a great marathon! I actually had missed 2 of them so yay to new content for me!
The small pancakes we call "poffertjes" in the Netherlands. There's even special pans for them. :)
For the iced frothy coffee, I'd use coffee ice cubes. I make them using any leftover coffee from a pot of coffee. They don't dilute the beverage when they melt.
I'm a caffeine addict... What is leftover coffee? I like your idea of coffee ice cubes though and I'll use it
Love marathon videos! Kills me that they know by now I’m using it for background while I do the chores
yeah i clean house with them on with my wireless earphones lol

Should try that olive oil and sea salt on vanilla ice cream trend, if you haven't already 😋
Come a long way to have an hour plus long vid! Thanks for the compilations!

“…in and out of Kush!”🤣
TikTok and Ben’s reactions make our days. Also, TikTok Spafford makes the SERIES WORK
Hardee's has a low carb option with leaf lettuce replacing the bun and a major up tic in price. It is my favorite.

The Dutch have their own mini pancakes made out of buckwheat flower. They are called "poffertjes" and even have their own pan.
Yay I was looking for something to watch ahhhhhhhhh Sorted!!!!!!! 🙃🙃💗💗🙂🙂
I've been sitting here laughing about Ebbers Baubles for minutes 😂
Sensational you two are awesome 😎
Wondering why none of you thought to add crunch to the egg sandwich by tossing in some of your carrot "bacon"...? Might have been great! :)
Y’all should do a video where you bring back everything you chose to follow fast and see if you would still follow fast or it became forgotten.
Watching this in the dark while my power is out because of hurricane Helene, definitely a nice distraction
Me loving how chef goes panic mode
I would totally have made one big pancake and cut it into bite size pieces for the cereal 😂😂
Mike you are the king of one liner zinger 👍 please never change thank you so so much 🫶
You shouldget a dutch poffertjes pan, make them a bit smaller and you would have gold
They should do an episode where they rate their favorite to worst "Food Theatre Experiences"
What great timing for background noise while meal prepping
Yay!!! Kush! So goddamn handsome!
The cloud-bread inside sort of looks like meringue-marshmallow-bathsponge. All of the guys made the correct judgement🙂↕️
When do we get the in and out of Kush video?
That was very cheffy
Can we get a marathon playlist?
Hello sorted , could you put all the marathons into a playlist
