I got Texalter before I got Phantom... Ive never actually used Phantom beyond getting him to E1 Lvl1... which I do for every unit I get. Now Ive got Yalter as well for more physical damage so I dont foresee him ever leaving the bench at this point.
Now they need to get us Phalter... Maybe as summoner or support where he sings like Skalter 🤣

My only gripe with MH collab is that the Tier 1 materials are mixed in with Tiers 2 and 3 of the second section on the event shop. You can't guarantee you'll get all of the higher-tier materials even if you replenish sanity twice over what you would usually spend to clear similar event shops ...

Now that I think about it, Fast redeploys are the special abilities/buffs you'd get in some tower defense games. Where they're normally one time use or long cd.

Its only the vocal minority. The overwhelming majority wants more braindead delete button ops. In a few years Arknights core strategy revolves around slapping 11 different braindead delete button ops and Ling to block the exits.

I think the fantom's problem is his third skill, which has CHANCE to stun/slow, if stun(or bind?) Has been guaranteed when then he is gonna be much-much better like two red's second skill

Precisely why I despise his 2nd Module so much. HG really tried to make him compete against Texas and Yato for DPS and completely ignored his "Crowd Control" niche. They could've done something with his S3 but HG was like "He needs more DPS" because apparently Texas and Yato aren't enough for that.

I'll be honest here, when I was rolling for Texalt and Yato I felt like I am going to make things easier. And when I used them as stages becomes easier and easier and then I realized what have I done, I sucked the fun of Arknights where I have to strategize and plan instead of placing them over and over and then call it a day.
Now the stages are revolving around them and Chapter 12 specifically that limits DP so fast redeploys have to be here and there all the time.
Honestly, my brain is so smoll, that even by spamming texalter and yato I get dopamine :)
I accidentally got Texalter when going for Penance and yeah I gotta admit she made everything easier. But I only use her as last resort for when my brain just cant solve the damn stage with traditional strategies.

Yep. I got her both limiteds cuz i heard they're broken. Texas really made the game easy so now i save her as a last resort. I'm expecting yato will be the same so i never even used her in anything except the Minecraft mode so far

regardless of how much hate insta delete units get in this game, you can't deny the satisfaction from utterly obliterating your enemies.
I think this trend is going to continue, unless arknights actually makes something that requires you to stall rather than kill. They've tried that multiple times but sadly it has not worked out so far.

@@TerryBradstreet tbf, most people just plopped down mudrock and whenever the cannon targeted anyone but her, you needed to burst them down. Also, only aoe guard-like units could fully use the reborn units to their advantage.
HG is just getting more cashgrabby. Making ops more broken than the last one. Now they are having problems designing stages like what happened in Pinch Out. I like it when they introduce new mechanics and then a few months new ops either uses that mechanic or hard counter it.
Make more bosses like Big Sad Lock.

Original Yato actually does have higher DEF than Yalter. Yato E0 L30 has 192 DEF while Yalter E0 L30 has 180. Can't say they don't pay attention to the fine details!
Phantom was never that crazy to begin with so it's not so much that he's fallen and more that he was born at the bottom of the mines of Moria.
Damn, Phantom got shafted despite being the only male in his archetype. At least give him a module for attack speed, defense, or anything that can make him somehow work again lol.
I'm kinda disgusted that he did not get a single good module tbh, or at least not good enough to matter.

I stopped playing shortly after Texas alter event finished and getting her. I saved up just enough for 3 10 pulls before coming back and got super lucky getting two kirin x yato in my last 10 pull xD
At early stages of arknights phantom was in a perfect position as he had his amazing utility with clone but the limitation of it using extra dp and deployment slot and FRDs werent designed to kill every enemy but rather to kill key targets at annoying areas such as snipers and take controll of map spesific towers wich they did it wonderfully
And phantom alongside these also had "good" damage for its time so he was considered the first proper damage orianted executor
But as the game progressed enemy defense hp and res only gone up and many enemies became immune to helidrops with their spesific skill sets
Maps hardly used spesific tile managment objects and even if they did they were hardly as useful as the ones before
Enemies became immune to CCs and current roster became extremely strong enough to invalidate any reason for early game usage for FRDs or stall synergizes with them
Phantom got hit much more than other because he wasted a deployment slot on a extremely weak summon that couldnt even do anything right and he himself became a "Squad slot taker" as deployment limit became important as ever with new helidrops and his kit was just terrible compared to everyone else
Then HG did the same thing they did to Dreadnoughts Spreadshooters and Summoners and made a BORDERLINE busted limited that more or so powercrept their entire branch
But this time it was different as texas alter was EASILY the single strongest operator they had ever released
Her CCs were phenomenal her damage is litterally 20 times higher than phantoms she didnt waste multiple deployment slots and instead of being a "addon" to the squad SHE WAS the key unit of the squad
And best of all she did arts damage and had res reduction so no matter how high enemy res was she was still able to do insane levels of dps to them
Her s3 is able to hit drones and easily the most busted skill in the entire game because of how easily it controlls the entire map
Litterally only place her s3 is bad at is maps where you cant even deploy texas because of lack of melee tiles other than that her s3 made every single map in the game a joke to go trough and increased blindruns effectiveness to 100% because of her amazing stun nature that made every mistake pointless
Moment texas was released phantom was already dead
His kit was NOT EVEN CLOSE to texases kit litterally mathematically he sucked in every aspect compared to texas other than BORDERLINE RARE scenarios where you could use his summon to hold an extra lane but currenr cheap lane holders made that niche obsolete as well
But there was a SINGLE thing that was going on for him and it was him being physical damage focused so if ONE DAY HG released borderline arts immune enemies or for Chapter 9 he was still viable because of texases arts orianted kit
And litterally not even half a year after texas they released yato alter wich had insane mobbing and huge enemy killing capabilities with better version of texas s2 that could do aoe damage and was much quicker alongside being really good with buffs because of insane multipliers on three of her skills
And most importantly she was physical orianted so litterally there wasnt even a SINGLE reason in the game to continue using phantom
Remember the rare "multiple lane covarage" thing phantom could do every blue moon? Yeah just use yato and texas and they do the same thing
Since phantoms clone STILL took a deployment slot and was borderline garbage he was essentially useless in every possible direction and the funniest thing is this was caused by YET ANOTHER limited operator
Litterally against a 0 defense enemy phantom s2 with clone is NOT EVEN CLOSE to yato s2 or texas s2 on a regular enemy with 700 defense and 50 res and that just shows how absurdly weak phantom is
Only thing thats going on for him is his s3 and thats it and even that skill is borderline powercrept by texas s3 because of his stupid rng nature
And unlike phantom s3 texas s3 also provides a metric tons of damage while powercreeping phantoms sad "utility" alongside it
Yeah since phantoms second module is shown to be borderline garbage too its safe to assume that he is the WORST operator in the game in terms of howmuch powercrept they had the second one being Vigil only because he is borderline powercrept by only one limited broken 6 star so far lmfao
Lowkey Yato and Texas are even worse than Ch'alter for the game and yet people don't cry about them. At least what Ch'alter does Młynar can do just as well and even better and is not limited. Meanwhile there is no unit like Yato and Texas and just happen both are limiteds with one being true limited. Hypergryph greed at its peak.

Mumu COMPLETELY killed his niche and not just that but also is yet another example of a limited character almost 100% powercreeping their archetype
The fact that Phantom even lacks a second talent because his e2 talent is just a redeployment reduction to his clone that should have been a modification of his e1 Talent like Kalt'sit's Mons3r talent. Of course an actual e2 talent wouldn't have saved him from Yato/Texas regardless but... why HG.

My strategy for when I want to clear a stage I don't know: Myrtle > Bagpipe/Mountain block any early rushers> Mylnar near blue box just in case > Texas/Yato until the stage is over
Same except i dont have mountain but the reaper duo is pretty usable
no one will stop me from using three ambushers and a liskarm buffed with 36% damage reduction from two stainlesss turrets.

Phantom has still his niche with the 2x1 operator. But yeah for assassination is outclassed heavily. I didn't get Texal executor because I wasn't playing then but Yato Alter is absurd burst damage, both S2 and S3 are top.
Who needs a 2x1 operator when you can erased everything with one unit.
I just admiring the fact there's a operator that able to delete enemy so quick, but for me, I'm skipping this event, even the banner, i'm just not that interested in monster hunter but glad for people enjoying it, hope you guys got yanto
