@Drew Sinn There are many components to doing a pro job. One place I found that successfully combines these is the coop magic tactic (check it out on google) without a doubt the most incredible course that I have ever heard of. Check out this extraordinary website.
I just ordered the same exactly grill from bbq guys to the same kind of outdoor kitchen eve mine will be further from the house and u guys made me buy the metal jacket for insulation and u guys didn't used in this application is really necessary?
Hello. Do the vent hoods just pull the smoke up and kick it out the side of home? The attic? Through the roof? Not sure where the smoke should go. Thanks!
Old video but could you guys tell me the size of grill and doors below. This seems like a dumb problem but I can’t find one brand that has same length and width doors as the grill. I want my setup to be uniform like this.
Thanks! Are you asking about the lip of the brick where the doors screw into? I would be hesitant to put anything that would make it hard to close the doors. If you are talking about the general storage area under the appliances, you do need gas to be able to flow freely to the vent panels for safety if there is ever a leak.
I need help with the notches, the 30 inch grill on their site came with hangers on the end that keep the grill two inches from the wall where the granite overhangs.
If you are asking about building in a pellet grill like the Z grill, then Memphis is a great brand that has this option. Here is a link to where you can see one. www.bbqguys.com/memphis-grills/pro-wi-fi-controlled-28-inch-304-stainless-steel-built-in-pellet-grill-vgb0001s
Hey Kim, the link below will send you to our kitchen design page. Once there, just click the top banner that says "Free 3D Design Service", or you can scroll down just a bit and hit the orange button that says "Start My Free 3D Sketch". This will then take you to the sketch request form. We'd love to help you design your outdoor space!
Most grills have a safety requirement of 21 inches or so for flammable surfaces near the top of the grill. The siding directly behind the grill doesn't look non flammable....

The outdoor kitchen looks great, but grills under an eve or other structure has lead to house fires. 10 Foot min. from structures is recommended by fire professionals. Per the National Fire Protection Association: Gas grills were involved in an average of 3,300 structure fires annually. Leaks or breaks were primarily a problem with gas grills. Charcoal or other solid-fueled grills were involved in 600 structure fires. That fire place looks as safe as an indoor fireplace, yet can't wind blow embers into the house as the door is swung open?
Greetings - thanks for your comment! We definitely recommend that the installation of any grill or fireplace meet the building and fire codes for your location, and this one does. We also recommend that any built-in gas grill installation be signed off on by a licensed plumber or natural gas technician. The fireplace is gas-fueled, and as such generates no sparks or burning embers. Again, thanks for watching!
Thanks for your feedback. I'm thinking that **Carbon Monoxide** is another reason to keep a BBQ far from a house. Additionally, windows and door could allow smoke or leaking gas to enter. BBQs have caused fire balls from a gas leak. Personally, I would put mine 15 feet from anything flammable. It seems sensible to design for **human err.** Worse news stories out there, but check out the photo in this one. It reached the 2nd story roof! Article title: "Gatineau BBQ fire caused by propane leak" Thanks again for your feedback, and have a great day.
I suck so bad at building stuff. Wish they taught this in schools. Great work. Looks like I’ll have to pay to have this done for ours.
Thanks for watching!
That gap at the top of the fridge would drive me crazy..
Looks fantastic, are there UK contacts
Our services are currently only available inside the US.
I'm sure the Watsons will love it.
The video production on this clip is amazing. I searched for this type of video and as a hardcore DIY’er, I’m truly impressed.
Aw, thanks Drew! We try to keep it clear and to the point :)

Hi guys. Clicked the link and received not found error. Just a fyi your website may be having issues. Thanks for the video.
Seems to be okay now. Please try again, and thanks for watching!
At this point, you may as well cook inside and just open a window
But then you can't be outdoors! :)
@@BBQGuys Just open a window
Thanks sir
It turned out great? All except the brickwork, that is. It looks like the blockmonster pucked on it!!!

Right on!
How much needs to be notched? Is a 1" X 1" notch appropriate?
Thanks for video, what did you use for the lintels above the openings please?
Tradisional oven pizza outdoor pls
I'm thinking of building something like this in my indoor kitchen. The access doors are a great idea!
Thanks for watching!
what type of tapcon screw did you use to install the access doors?
Old video but could you guys tell me the size of grill and doors below. This seems like a dumb problem but I can’t find one brand that has same length and width doors as the grill. I want my setup to be uniform like this.
Nice tips in the video! What's the best technique to finish the interior of the cabinet openings if you so desire?
Thanks! Are you asking about the lip of the brick where the doors screw into? I would be hesitant to put anything that would make it hard to close the doors. If you are talking about the general storage area under the appliances, you do need gas to be able to flow freely to the vent panels for safety if there is ever a leak.
When are you going to do an outdoor kitchen that doesn't revolve around a gas grill? Show me a kitchen featuring a pellet or offset grill.
Great idea!
I noticed this doesn't have an insulated grill jacket? Is that something that should be used?
Insulated jacket when building in to combustibles. This was brick and granite, so no need.
I need help with the notches, the 30 inch grill on their site came with hangers on the end that keep the grill two inches from the wall where the granite overhangs.

The siding behind this island was hardie plank siding. Always check your specific grill manual though for specific distances.
Hardieplank is a cement board. Not flammable.
Nice Video Guys, thanks...
Thanks for watching!
Looks good
What a great video. Concise and very well produced.
Glad you liked it!
Did they eventually install a vent Hood?
Not at this location, but we did recommend it.
I hope they pitched the granite counter tops

Great! Now there's an actual reason for women to stay outside the kitchen.
