This series is so good, it feels like a lot of this information would be lost if you didn't put the full narrative out there.
Name a more iconic story than a community of the most skilled gamers on the planet being terrified of a dude named Goofy whose pfp is a stupid jpeg of a PS1 chicken from Spyro the Dragon.

I discovered this series with this video, stopped watching 30 seconds in, and started from the beginning (ERA 1), interrupting to watch the BTR history video when first mentioned, and the agdq2016 race when first mentioned.
It would be amazing if speedrunners of more games had the enthusiasm players like you have in telling the histories of the scene in their games.
I'm very much looking forward to the final 2 videos!!

I wanted to say that I was never a huge fan of the Jak & Daxter games growing up, but your videos made me go back to replay them and as such, I feel like I've fallen in love with the Jak Trilogy for the very first time. Thank you for making me see how great the series truly is, my dude.
I remember playing Jak 1 as my first PS2 game and not being all that breathtaken by it initially, but I really fell in love with Jak 3 on release for some reason, i played it over and over again. Years later i've really grown to love Jak 1, 2 X and I even played Daxter recently and that was a great game too. But yea deep down Jak 3 is still my goat :)
Haven't played X, but 100%ed all the rest including Daxter. Jak 3 prob takes the cake for me, too. Idk I love diff things about each of the og trilogy
Jonda's story of grinding like an anime protagonist and finally achieving his goal (ignoring the timing technicalities here) is super inspiring! But I hope he remembers to eat and take hand rest breaks nowadays!
I can't wait to find out who rises up to challenge Goofy and how they do it next time!

Found this channel by searching for Jak X on UA-cam, had no idea other Jak games existed yet I've spent pretty much the entire day watching this series. Incredible storytelling and incredible music taste! So many gems.

Jonda wasn't just speedrunning. That boy was a perfectionist. I can only imagine the kind of pressure he was putting on himself, and to still call his WR run "bad" says a lot about his mindset. Hope he's doing well.

killed it as usual Ricky. The editing and montages are peak and i was engaged the whole time. The interviews as well were sooo good. Might be recency bias but this might be my favorite era so far :)
when i got Jak 3 for my 7th birthday at the end of 2004 i could never have imagine how far people would take this game

Once again I smile whenever I see this series update. It is so awesome to see a part of my life if you will chronicled like this since as I said in a earlier video I watched you back during these attempts and this time without knowing it was you and to see and hear all of this "history" is awesome I can't wait to see the next part of this or just whatever you decide to upload next.
