I tried on the store display beats and they sounded like shit.
Even though I didn't get to try out the earbuds, I'm almost certain they're just rebranded JVC earbuds. Just get some nice low-impedance IEMs and put beats logo stickers on them, kiddies.

i had a pair of fake tours got them for £40 and they where really good good heavy bass and very comfortable lasted about a year

hey man, i've had them since last Christmas and they have amazing bass and awesome sound plus they are noise canceling, id definitely recommend getting them but one small downside to them is after a while (about a year of constantly using them) the wire under the mic stars to tear off, but for 99$ dude they are so worth it. so If you don't mind buying a new pair every other year then buy them :)
in my opinion i think you should spend the few extra bucks for the tour because they really do exemplify your sound quality where the urbeats do the same just just get muffed out because of all that bass. So for acoustic i think you should go fro the beats tour :)

I know it's been a while since the last person commented but I love my Urbeats. They are lighter-weight they are more comfortable I love the case that they come in and I think the sound is just perfect for me😊
I remember when they used to make the "ibeats" but they got discontinued. they were 99$ and the tour's were 150$ and the ibeats had way more base and better sound to imo. but they were prone to breaking a lot :(
I love my urbeats because they are easy to conceal...good for someone that still goes to school!
Just bought the urbeats about 5 days ago, and I'm really satisfied with them! Good bass, good comfort, good sound, love the design, sometimes it falls of the ear, IF the cable catches my clothing pretty violently, but if I walk or anything, if I move the head, or if I move around alot they're just fine. Hope I helped someone out there!!!

interesting comparrison,but good.i have both the ibeats and the tours and after much testing i found out that i have to use the large tripple flange earbud to get them to stay in my ear,which even when walking/running i dont have any problems.i prefer the tours to be honest.

I have tour, and it is awesome! It stays in your ears if yu have the right fit of the ear tips, and the sound quality is great.
***** they are worth it because they have a 1 year warranty. I am having my urbeats replaced under warranty and they are sending me a set of tours because they no longer have any replacement urbeats in red.
I also have an extra 2 year warranty with best buy that only ran me about an extra $20.
I would prefer the Urbeats and want to save money would I still enjoy having the Urbeats or not
I have the tour beats love them sound great very clear sound even better with EQ
What's this about
you know, headphones and earbuds all have EQ built in them, thats why beats sound different, you can but other earbuds and change EQ to what you like and they will sound pretty much the same.
You can get a nice pair of tours on eBay, they will most likely be used, but they'll sell for about 50-70 and if you want a new one they are usually 90-140 bucks. I got one for 50, they are used but all you gotta do is buy a spare set of ear buds and your set! Also, I'd recommend some kind of disinfectanting wipes just to make sure they are clean.
I have real, authentic Beats Tour with Monster but it's missing alot of stuff (ear hooks, cone-shaped earbuds).
I've got the urbeats and the tours and I prefer the urbeats because of they're way more comfortable than the tours and the urbeats are less hassle

My cousin has the urbeats & the build is great & they sound pretty good. But on Tuesday I'm getting the Beats Tour V2 because I want to give that a shot because the urbeats are pretty nice especially the bass on it are pretty balance. I'm excited to get the V2 beats tour in 2 days. Oh, one thing the review on the Beats tour V2 from yourself that video was really good I put it in my favorites since like months ago. I still have that in my favorites & that video I'm also putting that in my favorites.

There are 2 versions of the UrBeats. The ones in this video are the newest, and they aren't created by monster. The older pair are the EXACT same as the iBeats, but they were named differently because you could only get them with a specific HTC phone. So, there isn't any difference between the original version of the UrBeats and the iBeats, but the new UrBeats are completely different. I hope this helped answer your question.

Well I got my New Beats Tour Last Night to Complement my Beats Wireless Silver 2013, beacuse I work in a warehouse and its hot, and I don't like sweating in my Headphones, so I got these Tours to handle the heat and to use on my Road Bike on weekends and mornings wihen I ride, I have some JVC HA-FX66, that sound amazing if you are looking for the beats experience at a cheaper price, look at these, they were around before beats.
I like the silver urbeats,but i dont like the sound from beats,anyone have good lookigg and sounding heaphones with silver and white color combination? I know its a weird question..

I dont know if this has only happeed to me, but the plug on my Tours ripped apart from the cable, so I guess the urBeats are better on durability.
Does the price difference make up for the fact they are slightly muffled? Which one has better base/bass?
Yea people don't get fooled just because the tour beats are more expensive dosent mean their better buy the urbeats they are worth it believe me
I agree with this, if you need to get something from beats, save up a little more and definitely go with the tours, no contest here.. but, if you don't really have your heart set on beats, I also would recommend looking into the bowers & wilkins C5's (179.99) those things sound fantastic, great punchy low frequency and crystal clear mids and highs.
I bought the urbeats about a week ago and I'm having to send them back to the Netherlands already, the left earphone is distorted and i haven't been ruff with them at all, i haven't even turned the volume past half

I had the Tours already and they broke a month after I bought them. I think the Urbeats look a lot better, they are cheaper and they are much more comfortable as well.
These type of earphones are best suited for those with small ears I think, ear canals,

i would say the klipsch since it has better sound quality but if you want better looks and comfort i would say go w/ the beats .. all the best!

I thought the urbeats were the best beats earphones, but once I bought the tours, I was wrong. The tours are the best earphone dive ever tried. They're comfortable and have equal highs and mods

what are the most durable of the beats ear buds? im looking into the urbeats and i am seeing a lot of negative reviews saying the left or right speaker fades out after just weeks of use, and i wouldn't want to waste a hundred dollars on poor set of phones. if you could reply that would help a lot so i can make a decision soon
I've been trying to tell him to go the non-beats route, but I guess he really loves beats brand (don't understand why) .. I recently purchased the Sennheiser Momentum and the Vmoda M-100's and they are both amazing headphones, I think the momentum has the edge with sound quality but the M-100's just ooze cool and have fantastic sound as well...
i have both sets of them , i think the tour's are better then the urbeats , the tours are a lot clearer BUT the urbeats aren't bad , they just sound a little muddy at times
@galaman12001 that's true, I literally can't wear them for more than 5 minutes due to how uncomfortable they are.. I have I have the pros and I really like them, They're actually the only model I like from the. Beats over ear line.
Sony MDR-EX210B are 15.99 on amazon and have great sound quality and comfort.
I speant a lot of time watching and reading reviews between these two. I went for the urbeats and I'm really happy with them. You have to insert them properly (lift the ear first)

have you reviewed the HeartBeats? its like the urBeats and the Tours in one. It's light, but has a build quality like the tours.
I'd really just go with the urbeats. I don't really think it is necessary to spend the extra $50 dollars on in-ear headphones. That's just my opinion.

I have the urbeats and they sound awesome, depends on the song, because if you download songs from a crummy website, the song more than likely will sound crummy, but if you hear songs on pandora and or download them from an official provider like I tunes. It will sound lots better. And there is also a procedure to put on the urbeats which makes them not come out f your ear at ALL I jumped up and down for about 10 min waiting for them to fall out and they didn't. Their a good pair of earphones.
Klipsch makes the best in-ear headphones imo. Klipsch Image S4I II are great.
Not really considering you can get the Klipsch S4i on Amazon for 50 bucks with free shipping.

After having these Tours for a few Weeks, I'm not that pressed with them, as I am with my Beats Wireless, maybe because I have small ear canals? Cause I can't get them to seal in my ears like I can with all my other earphones. I am going to buy the urbeats and Ibeats next to see of this will resolve that problem, if not my 10 & 16 year olds just got some Earphones from Daddy! As of right now my JVC's are Killing theses Tours in sound quality and bass! And that maybe because of my ear canals and the design of the tours? But I let my coworker listen to them and he wasn't impressed either, he has the Solo HD in white and the ATH-50's he was having the same problems I had with them, sound quality No Bass, because we couldn't get that airtight fit! But I'm going to try all the ear cushions till I find the right one and test them more...
That is true, I sounded a little harsh and I apologize, I don't hate the beats brand but I also don't think it's the best out there (far from it) I do think the mixr's and the tours have good sound, but the problem with the mixr's is that when they finally get a good balance for pop music they sacrificed comfort for looks, they look great, sound good but they are very uncomfortable, I also received the urbeats as a gift, but unfortunately I found the sound very muffled and the bass muddy.
Urbeats are pretty good for the price. It's better than all the headphones I use and it's really durable
I would really like those ear hooks, but they didn't come with the newer versions :( thats bad.
The urBeats case gets much easier to open the longer you have the ear buds.
Do the urbeats or tour cables touch your face alot? I find many headphone cables get in my face and it's incredibly annoying. Just wondering how these fair in that regard. Thanks.
I previously had a pair of ibeats I didn't really like the sound quality and upgraded to the tours, I was thinking about getting urbeats cause I like the look, are the urbeats similar sound quality to the ibeats? Or should I just save the money and stick with the Tours.

I find the urbeats a waste of money, got some a few months ago for 111$ and returned them about a week after purchase, I now got a pair of 'jvc xx ha-fx3x's and they work AMAZING and they only costed 50$ you can probably find them cheaper online but I highly recommend jvc xxplosives earbuds over and beats headphones any day !
