    »United Alive« & »United Alive In Madrid« - The video- & audio-releases
With the releases of »UNITED ALIVE« & »UNITED ALIVE IN MADRID« on Nuclear Blast, the band presents stunning audio and visuals of the epic tour. Every single solo, every spontaneous gesture, and every emotional encore of the PUMPKINS UNITED WORLD TOUR is evoked and made immortal. Band interviews and plenty of background material included. The artworks for the various formats were once again created by photographer and art designer Martin Hausler, who of course stuffed lots of previously unreleased live images into the 36-page booklet and high-end packaging.
    »United Alive« - DVD/Blu-Ray
The DVD/BLU-RAY »UNITED ALIVE« captures the phenomenal sets with recordings from Wacken in front of 75,000 metal heads , 14,000 fans in the Madrid arena, and topped off by the legendary gig at the Espaço das Américas in front of 8,000 fans in São Paulo. In total, there's over three hours of live material in stereo and premium 5.1 surround sound plus a movie compilation with the essentials of the concert’s LED content, all cartoon clips of Seth and Doc, further surprises, and the very personal 30-minute band interview about the past, present, and future.
»United Alive« & »United Alive In Madrid« will be available in the following formats, and can be pre-ordered here: bit.ly/2GGIPzR

      he's not actually that high
But i understand how it sounds
it's Pure Magic because Singing involves a degree of trickery .
But let's be honest ... this is necessary so they don't blow out their voices.
      I can sing this.
But, Understand... it's one thing for me to be able to sing this once every 3 days or so.
it's another thing altogether to sing around 15 or so songs at a concert one after the other
THEN DO IT EVERY DAY FOR SEVERAL MONTHS
      that's called VOCAL STAMINA
NO ONE... can create a song that pushes their voice to the limit every time
AND LAST FOR MONTHS ON END
Your voice would be fucked after 5 days
concerts would be cancelled.... NO WAY THAT CAN HAPPEN
there are vocal tricks that allow a singer to appear higher while not exerting as much energy
Examples : Using your diaphram (this is possibly the most basic of tricks) Allowing you to sing higher with less effort
then... Facial Expressions to give the impression that you're struggling when you're not
then... Positioning the note on the edge of your vocal chords which gives higher amplitude without any additional strain
      Stuff like that
then you have doubling of voices
then you have backup vocals high and low (Sort of what Def Leppard do)
in the case of Rob Halford, Painkiller, he's actually doing that .
and even in that case, it's NOT as high as you think , but it is still fucking high
it's actually never as high as you think,
      Again.. Vocal Tricks

One of the most underrated metal bands. Great voice, powerful guitar and drum. Fast and melodic, too. Both "Keeper of the seven keys" albums are powermetal masterpieces.
Many german metal bands were important and influencend the scene. Helloween, Accept, Scorpions, Warlock, Kreator. Metal without them is unthinkable.

Underrated is not the term to describe Helloween. In the keeper era they were considered as the new iron Maiden. Their influence on power metal genre is beyond description, they are literally the fathers of power metal. Their concerts are mainly sold out and they have a huge fun base worldwide. Not bad for an underrated band!

      @martinkuliza 6 місяців тому +1

LOL....... that is not even remotely true
I CAN DO IT, and i've been singing for 4 years only
Most Baritone's can do it (Assuming you've had some training)
Normal people can't because they don't know how.
No.. the thing is... those notes are not as high as you think they are.
Get some vocal training , You'll understand.
If you're a baritone, Tell your vocal coach you want to do this, and they'll have you doing it within 4 to 6 months
Possibly even 3, Depending on a few things.
or even this as an example.
Normal people don't know how... but, Get just 1 month of vocal training and you'll see what a difference your voice makes
THIS IS BECAUSE... in that first month
      You are already shit
      The vocal coach
      Get your breathing properly
      on pitch
      Doing your scales
and you develop some basic muscle memory
and all of a sudden, YOU SOUND GOOD LOL
after that 1 month go to your friends and sing any song within your range
      and they'll tell you you're a god
      Your'e not, it's just that
IF YOU DO THINGS PROPERLY,IT SOUNDS PLEASING TO THE EAR
      that's what you're hearing here

You are hereby christened my friend into the metal family of the world.
My god... You just recently found this band... wow.
I'm 50, been into this since i was like 14 or something .
Oh well, Better late than never
in the day , THIS WAS CONSIDERED PART OF THE HEAVY METAL UNDERGROUND.
There were 2 ways you followed metal back in the day
You had your mainstream stuff, we have some heavy Metal Magazines and that was cool
but possibly the best way was THE HEADBANGERS BALL (as we called it THE FUCKING BALL).
BUT AFTER A WHILE MUSIC TURNED INTO ONE GIANT PUSSY and became somewhat fake.
We craved metal to be REAL !
and thats where you get the underground stuff , it wasn't popular but had a huge following,
it's the primary reason why Metallica took off
Other Underground stuff we used to listen to
      Helloween
      Mortal Sin
      Blessed Death
      Warlord
      S.A. Slayer
      Deicide
      Tygers of Pan Tang
      Sodom
      Dio
      Man o War
      HAVE A LISTEN TO THIS

    From our lives beginning on
We are pushed in little forms
No one asks us how we like to be
In school they teach you what to think
    But everyone says different things
    But they're all convinced that
    They're the ones to see
So they keep talking and they never stop
And at a certain point you give it up
So the only thing that's left to think is this
    I want out
    To live my life alone
    I want out
    Leave me be
    I want out
To do things on my own
    I want out
To live my life and to be free
People tell me A and B
They tell me how I have to see
Things that I have seen already clear
So they push me then from side to side
They're pushing me from black to white
They're pushing 'til there's nothing more to hear
But don't push me to the maximum
Shut your mouth and take it home
Cause I decide the way things gonna be
    I want out
    To live my life alone
    I want out
    Leave me be
    I want out
To do things on my own
    I want out
To live my life and to be free
There's a million ways to see the things in life
A million ways to be the fool
In the end of it, none of us is right
Sometimes we need to be alone
No, no, no, leave me alone
    I want out
    To live my life alone
    I want out
    Leave me be
    I want out
To do things on my own
    I want out
To live my life and to be free
    I want out!

Where is Blind Guardian, Chroming Rose, Scanner, Running Wild?

    • @MichaelHolmgaard
      @MichaelHolmgaard 9 років тому

metalwolf1978 Well, have never really listened to ether Chroming Rose or Scanner, so I do not know if they made albums worth mentioning in a top 20.
As for Blind Guardian, I think they are one of the best bands in the genre, but when it comes to their albums in general, I think they are a little weaker. They have many great songs in the catalog, but in my opinion, they have not jet made an album good enough to be in the top 20 best power metal-albums. If I should mention an album from them, that could be on the list, it would probably be "Nightfall In Middle-Earth".
As for running Wild, yes they have some good tunes, but i have never understood the hype around them. They are good, but not even close to the level that the ones mentioned above.
Remember, i have not listed the top 20 bands, i have listed the top 20 albums.
But everything is a matter of opinion, and I respect if you do not agree with mine :)

I love how so many people are inspired but only you yourself can truly be free especially to yourself by not giving a poo what people think and truly be you no matter what people think. That's how you get out!
