This album rocks. It feels like a more instrumental and consistent version of their first album... So Bionic Chrysalis, The Order of Chaos and this album make a perfect series. Imo Deadlife is the most successful exploration of 'cyberpunk' Synthwave music, and while nothing's yet topped Bionic Chrysalis, anything new from Deadlife feels like a continuation of an amazing, unique sound.
The consistency and coherence of the discography are really noteworthy. Those are definitely concept albums that sound like something which builds up an entire world as if it was a written story.
21:24 is incarnation of "perfect". Nothing can match this, it pulls your soul to outer space and fills with something similar to "calm, dead silence, etc." Like whole your existance was devoted for such simple yet genius piece of musical art
It's so interesting comparing what I thought was an absolutely groundbreaking album at the time, Singularity, to what Dark Nation gave us and ultimately what God of the Machine has done to symbolize the immense growth of Deadlife as both a musician and person the last two years. This album is still an absolute banger, but I find the immense emotional appeal and connections in the new album equally appealing in their own right. One of my favorite artists of the genre since discovery; songs like Cold Comforts got me interested in the "early days" and I could not be thankful that enough they did.
Wanna know an insider secret? You're gonna appreciate this; right when the video loads, instead of watching it, skip to a few seconds from the end, let it stop, then when the replay button appears press it. Congratulations, you have now skipped all adds and can watch the entire video, no matter how long the video is or how many adds there were. Interruption/PITA/add-free watching without paying for YT red. You're welcome😁👍

I’m hearing a bit of Bill Kiley- You Will Never Know in Terminal Velocity. I wonder if Deadlife’s a Katana Zero fan?

Do page authors have any control over where ads are placed? I just got one in the middle of "She Only Exists in Screens", which was unfortunate. 😒

He releases new music with a great frequency (about two albums per year for over three years now). I don't think he's into touring. At least not yet.
