I LOVE the track "Tokyo Rose - Cursed" but I wish it was mixed differently. The vocals have this sharp "SSSssss", "Twisssss" kind of sound at the upper Hz range. No matter what EQ setting or audio device I use, I hear it clearly. Seems like the mix wasn't "clipped" properly. I don't know how to describe it exactly. It's a big shame though because it takes away from the ethereal vocals, there's such a gentle vibe out of it but at the same time there's this "harsh" screwed up mix at the high range on her enunciations.
I like listening to this while driving a Ford F550 turbo diesel down the streets of the current apocalyptic world we are living in now! But I would definitely love to experience it in that Supra!!!!
I work as a software engineer and I never thought this career would open doors to so much new music. I listen to music all day while I'm concentrating and I need music with no (or very little) lyrics. This had lead me to a lot different music. I've explored a lot of classical, discovered Anamanaguchi, and revisited to old video game soundtracks. And now THIS album. I've looped this album probably 12 times in the past month. Good stuff!!!
That makes sense. I prefer music without lyrics... Honestly, melodic techno and synthwave and melodic dubstep are the best genres -- the French guy that posted the 2017 melodic techno mix also has great selections of tracks like this album!
I'm shocked. Listened for the first time just now and loved every minute.... It's dark and hardcore, symphonic and dreamy... Totally danceable... What an artist!
I'm a metal head who listens to the darker side of the genre and also an old school gaming nerd. I clicked for the name Akuma and the art work and decided to stay for the music. If any Castlevania nerds are reading, it sounds like a 90's rave at dracula's castle. I had fun with this. Listened to the whole thing and liked it most towards the end.
I've become a big fan of ALEX lately. I will listen to your channel's upload playlist and periodically I will hear a song that is exceptionally good and I will have to tab over and see who the artist is and I've found ALEX to be the creator on a number of occasions. Definitely establishing him/her self. And the album art is always dope!
The last two tracks are just over the top. So happy to see two of my favorite synth wave artists collaborate on the last track. DD & ALEX are in a different league by themselves.
They are going to do at least one other pressing (on black vinyl), but still... I feel like a lot of these artists could sell much more if they didn't try to artificially scarcen their vinyls
This collaboration is as wicked magical as when M.A.D.E.S and Donbor came together or LeBrock, Tokyo Rose and Ultraboss when they united. I love it so much it's incredible beyond words and 'Cursed' is so mesmerizing with Hayley Stewart's vocals. Oh yeah, at about 16:27 that's the outside ambience from the first Resident Evil game, I can hear the dogs howling and the crickets chirping haha =P
