Liked your use of the circle templates, I never thought of industry artists using these! A question: Which comic pro gave you the best piece of advice/help as you were making your career in comics?? :)
Obrigado. Já repeti várias vezes alguns videos. Forte abraço e continue com toda humildade.
John Guy I can't answer that question. But the amount made per year varies by amount of work done and how much the publisher pays. Artists are generally paid per page of comic art.
jett hamilton You can email me to get on my studio commission wait list. the wait is pretty long (2-3years) so it's good to get on the list now! mail(at)wildguard(dot)com
Todd, thanks for all the vids. I just noticed your finger placement on the Cigno White. Is that your usual positioning (two fingers over and two under)? Does it ever change other than for different sized pens/markers or is it always the same? (And if this has been answered, thanks anyway, I shall look for it. Peace!
***** That is a way I learned to hold a writing utensil as a child. It's bad habit. But I make it work for me. I switch between the incorrect way and correct way to hold a pencil at random. I don;t even really think about it. It's so second nature for me! :P
Kristan Holmes I've always loved drawing hands. Think of them as a way to convey emotion. They can be so expressive. Drawing hands takes lots of practice. Good luck!
You should totally do a 'tour' of your first comic! Ha, that would be cool. :>
cool sound effects line make the figure pop out that tight cool work

When sketching how do you maintain your focus without any annoying mental distraction?
Jason Larouche I don't really struggle with that. I like to listen to the TV while I draw. :)
What do you make per year? If this is a touchy topic, don't answer, but I'm interested in a general estimate
John Guy I can't answer that question. But the amount made per year varies by amount of work done and how much the publisher pays. Artists are generally paid per page of comic art.
For starters like me...
What could be a good tip for drawing poses?
Marcie Ooo I'll see if I can answer this question in a future vid!
Hey Todd just wanted to ask who was your comic book art inspiration when you were a teen just starting out?
George Stockbridge My earliest inspirations as a teen were (and still are) Art Adams, Rick Leonardi, Walter Simonson, and Alan Davis.
Todd Nauck Awesome dude, keep doing what you're doing!
that Daredevil drawing is a Nauck-out. well, anything that Todd Nauck draws is a Nauck-out
YES!!!
OMG that looks amazing! Daredevils my favourite hero but I wasn't fast enough. Would you ever take commissions?
jett hamilton You can email me to get on my studio commission wait list. the wait is pretty long (2-3years) so it's good to get on the list now! mail(at)wildguard(dot)com

Great video as ever Todd, thanks. May I ask, I'm struggling with drawing hands, do you have any advice? What worked for you?
Kristan Holmes I've always loved drawing hands. Think of them as a way to convey emotion. They can be so expressive. Drawing hands takes lots of practice. Good luck!
Todd Nauck Thanks for the reply and of course the advice Todd, very much appreciated!
