Excellent , I like your attention to detail and the idea of "cleaning" up when you're in there is very smart. I have the same and am going to do y bridge ( pusher ), up pipes and down, manifolds.
I'm editing up a video right now for changing Heads, Head Gaskets and installing Head Studs. I didn't record specifically for the fuel line layout, but it clearly shows what you need. Hopefully I'll have it uploaded today or tomorrow. Of course check out the whole video, but at the 19:00 mark you should see what you need.
@@grumpyvetgarage cool that would be awesome, i installed my fass and delete the filter as of now right in the middle of it. I’ll look out for the video thanks again 🙌🏻
Thanks for the detailed points on wiring etc.. What did you do for the passenger up pipe? Any issues with the SDP kit now that you have used it for a while?
I purchased a LB7 passenger up pipe and swapped it out. The worst part of swapping the up pipe was the flange on the turbo pedestal. I haven't had any issues with the kit. The turbo seams to spool up a bit faster. I doesn't know if that is because of the SDP kit or if it is the DHD hot side pipe or the PPE rail and CP3 fittings. Thanks for watching.
@@grumpyvetgarage I need to do pretty much everything listed here. Mine is an 08 LMM so more of a challenge due to the firewall position. Thanks again for the info.
It is definitely a pain. I used a little bit of oil to lube the new gaskets so they would slide as required to seat in place, then I just started every bolt or nut only a couple of threads. Do not run any one bolt or nut all the way down. You will need to get all of them going and then slowly tighten them up all together to pull the y-bridge down in place. It will test your patience.
I fabricated a new feed line from the QD to CP3 and return line from the passenger side head to the return tee next to the CP3. It cleaned up the fuel lines in my opinion and eliminated the factory Fuel Filter Head. Removing this filter isn't a problem since the FASS lift pump has better filters than OEM.
@@connorboll1442 with the Fuel Filter connector disconnected it does nothing. The EGR will turn on a check engine light. If you have a RPO code of FE9 for "Federal Emissions" (sticker on glove box) the light is on but does not do anything to truck performance. To turn off the check engine light you will need a custom tune.

Oh yeah! Awesome need to change mine! Great job Thanks!
Huge Upgrade 🏁
I bought the same kit for the same motor, awesome results but man, those y bridge bolts are a pain. I took the turbo off lol
anyway you can do a video of where that fuel line coming off the cp3 runs doing mine and no one really shows where to run it after fuel filter delete
Sure can. I have a couple other videos in the works, so it might take a week or so.

My brother in Christ, how the hell do you get these y bridge bolts started. I cannot get it to fully seat down.

@@grumpyvetgarage when deleting the fuel filter what did you do with the electrical connection ?
@@connorboll1442 I just left it disconnected and used Tesa Tape to secure it from moving around.
@@grumpyvetgarage what did you do to turn the check engine light off for egr and for the fuel filter is my biggest question
