In Malacca, there is a stall selling about the same 'pork tendon'. Malaccans call it 'Bakki' and this stall can be found in a coffee shop in jln kampung pantai. It is now a third generation business which started in the early 70's.

@@FoodHunter Sorry bro..cant remember the coffee shop name but its easy to locate. There are only 2 coffee shops in kampung pantai. This coffee shop is the one next to a Chinese temple. The pork meat is very tender and serve with yam rice. Business hour shld be in the morning to maybe 2 pm.

@@WinTyh If it is as hard as 'rubber', it wouldnt have operated since the early 70's. Have you tried the right shop? I have eaten there since the early 70's and it has always been a wonderful meal for me.

Everything looks ok but the only unacceptable is the soup was so dirty until the blood water from the pork slices, pork liver all poured into it and let customers drink.
To each thier own, bro. These "addition" are what gives the soup its distinct taste and flavour. Their customers knows about it and it's what they want.
