The Huawei ban is MUCH bigger than you think

- Huawei is getting blacklisted by the United States. The tech company was added to the Commerce Department’s Entities List, a de facto ban on US companies selling to Huawei. It’s part of an ugly trade war between the US and China, and it goes a lot deeper than what you’ve probably read.

Yes
Not at all

That's just a excuse to start all this.

In seriousness, the U.S. and Germany are part of the same military alliance (NATO) and enforce the rule of law, including respecting each others' intellectual property. Came into an article which US did the almost the same thing to Japan back in 80s - Toshiba.
This piece was either poorly researched or disingenuous. At this point China has very few valid options to counter this move. The United States is China's largest customer. China is by far not the US's largest customer. Any retaliatory attempt to shut off a company like foxconn would inflict unimaginable pain on China as well. China's chief sticking point has been the US requirement that they change their laws regarding foreign partnerships and intellectual property rights to make it possible for a foreign entity to operate freely within their borders and to sue if their technology is stolen.
I personally expect that this move will end up being leverage over China in negotiations.

To show the people how special he is, like any other big tech youtuber doing the same on a different level.
To get your attention duh
ikr. Even my worst elementary school teacher didn't make faces while talking to the class.
I've noticed this too. The squinting is what did it for me.
He's an emotional talker
I thought it would happen yrs later like 2030. Seems like some politicians lost their patience.
Hilarious.
This is how it starts .... Let's keep watching loool
This will create a domino that will trigger a devastating trade war
Ali Alexander It’s for censorship... and who tf told you Uber being blocked...? Stop making things up
安荣 censorship is much better right?
Sina
Not saying it's better, just pointing out facts.
its a legitimate argument talking about banned services. guess uber isn't, but talking about semantics doesn't help. you could also say that trump censored huawei from US reality. sounds different, isn't though ^^
you should prepare for the WW3.
I am in serious
Absolutely. What is point keeping your house open/unsecured after finding out that thieves are stealing your household goods?
This video is brought to you by...
Huawei, Make it possible.
It would be interesting to know how Toshiba's former executives feel about this gang show.
thanks ...thats exactly what I have been saying again and again...
and been slammed for saying ...
usa is far more depended on china than vice visa...
Lol youre ignorant if you believe that
Great video, I wish it was much longer, and included some stats. Keep up the good work.
Just in, ARM (huawei chipset manufacturers/Kirin) immediately cuts business with Huawei 😢
They'll have TSMC or their sister company HiSilicon make it
No, ARM does not manufacture nothing, they do the patent authorisation business, which allows other companies manufacture chips based on their structure.
That’s nothing compared to the impact Google has on Huawei. Huawei has been working on its chipset technology for years now, plus TSMC is still working with them.
@@charlesxav6817 lol the ARM thing is way bigger. Hisilicon gets their designs and Architecture from ARM. Hisilicon just refines it. If ARM really cuts the business with Huawei they have to completely develop their own microarchitecture.
ARM is now own by SoftBank, a Japanese company.
Exactly the news NOKIA wanted !! 😜
...throw in ERICSSON as well!!! 😂
@Chuck Nourrizzz No their not. They just moved to other industries.
The news the TELEGRAF was waiting!!!
Well, I can tell you this, in Portugal and Switzerland at least, people are just ditching huawei since the ban and adopting iphones.
Making stuff in China used to be very cheap but that is changing very, very fast.
Caused by US tax,of course.
People tend to forget that China first banned Facebook,Google, Amazon, etc. Etc.
This is the exact thing I'm talking about. I'm India and interested in World Politics. People don't realise that it was China who banned many USA firms and they didn't allow them even now. Yes I accept and believe USA like to enforce and dominant but the present case shouldn't be taken as presented. USA could be wrong at many aspects but in Huawei ban I can't say for sure.
China " I'm only open minded if I can win."
This is totally an opinion. Not news
How can Google revoke an Android license from ANYONE if Android is an Open Source Operating System? Since when is Android the solely property of Google? The Google fork from the Android tree may be MAINTAINED by Google, but the spirit of the license is Open Source.
I think they'll still be able to get asop updates, but nothing direct from google
They revoked the GApps and services on Huawei devices. Sure Android is Open source, but The Google services aren't
Research Enterprise licenses of open source tech and in this case how the Google store is licensed
You shouldn’t have Taiwan in the map of China!!! Stop doing that! It’s misleading your viewers!
taiwan is part of china, that is for sure for most country of world
