    I used two pieces of 2x6 18 in long.
    In the center side to side 1 in down drilled 17/32hole. Both parts then 4 1/2 inches over. From center one in down clearance hole for all thread. Double lock nut one end and single nut opposite end.
    place drive shaft in the center hole. Run the all thread along side the shaft into the holes. Run down the nuts evenly until the spring is neutralized .
    Knock out rolled pins back off. Nuts.

    Their not called roll pins, they are actually SPIROL PINS (coiled steel) and are quite a bit stronger and a lot more expensive than roll pins and last years longer. Very difficult to find to replace lost or broken ones. Something to keep in mind when removing them. Use Care!

      You can get them from McMaster Carr, that have a 5500psi breaking strength.
