- Why is the hemlock so bad? even halo infinite has a better rendition of this weapon, and Splitgate has the best one, such a shame because its a fun weapon but since it has no hipfire, it is a low tier weapon for sure.

People are always saying the hemlock is bad but I swear every time I have an encounter with another pilot who has the hemlock, I am gone before I can blink

If the game weren’t so fast paced it probably would be used more and when it first came out I actually used it a lot
I agree, due to the nature of the game is just hard to balance it, before it was just too powerful, but I do believe it could do better with decent hip fire
tbh hemlok is REALLY underrated, and i'm an alternator main, i spent a day using only the hemlok and tbh it's pretty good.
I religiously use the hemlock 😅 love burst guns but it definitely let’s me down. I find myself frequently killed and note in the killcam that the enemy had 1% health left when I die.
The 1% left hits so hard man, so close yet so far lol
I'm the opposite person, I don't like burst fire guns. I'm either semi-auto or full-auto person. Was quite fun to play Apex and just put all Hemloks into single fire mode as it's drastically helps me to hit people
nah hemlock is still pretty good, there's a guy who occasionally logs onto titanfall 2 named "hemlockhellraiser" and fully demonstrates how good the hemlock can be. Just hit ur shots and it will still kill really fast from long ranges

The Hemlocks biggest issue is that it feels very similar to the wingman elite but less consistent. So often I will get someone to one health.
Honestly to add to good weapons to ads with is the R-21 and the Flatline

Basically using pulse blade I try to predict enemy movement, I walllrun etc to get into position, kill, then change position etc
see it as very temporary and random located camping

The hemlock is in a rough state really. It's like a bastard child between the G2 and the R201, where it's neither good at short/medium range or long range, and it requires more skill than both. Like if you really want that ADS long range playstyle may as well get the G2 since hitting individual shots is easier than tracking a whole burst.
But the gun is also nerfed by the game itself, pilots are just way too fast and mobile for a slow playstyle to be viable with this weapon in particular. There's a reason campers prefer the kraber with it's one shot.
They should probably rethink how fast they let you go as a pilot and tweak the ttk for titanfall 3. I think slowing the pace a bit would be better for everyone in general. The game will die fast again if the skill ceiling and skill floor aren't compressed.
Titanfall 2 hemlock is an insult to the Titanfall 1 hemlock. I miss that old thing and its 5 shot modifier.
When the game first came out the Hemlock could 1 burst people. People complained about it and now it can only 1 burst if one of the shots hits somebody in the head.

Hemlok was a lot better in tf1, I prefer the wingman and hemlok in tf1
The map design is bad. That’s why u keep getting grenaded in infinite. I think u can also throw them at a faster rate that older games
yea, i did notice how maps are just bad in infinite, they are very cramped and just not very creative
@@ttgolll they focus on a bunch of little things instead of one big thing. Like in halo 2 they had a giant wheel in the middle of one map
why is this guy comparing hip fire little to no spread arena shooters to a call of duty style ads loadout movement shooter.
Its a gun comparison, but also as stated in the video the Hemlock used to be great but was nerfed too much, comparison for fun, the Burst rifle as you can see is popular in lots of shooters.

There's no burst fire weapon in Doom, Quake, Metro Exodus, The Last of Us, Resident Evil4, Ultra Kill, or even my favorite game of all time Bioshock.
Of course it's going to be powerful in Splitgate / Halo. It's a power weapon.
Could you imagine if the hemlock was good in Titanfall. You'd never see anyone use an R301.

1. its pretty fair to compare burst rifles between shooters to some degree, especially similar ones.
2. all weapons in titanfall are "power weapons," it runs under the 'if everythings op, nothings op' philosophy for the majority of the weapon selection
3. used to be, and bro who in gods name uses the r301 anyway lmao. only assault rifles that anyone uses unironically are the flatline and G2
