I love the challenge of filming food preparation. When the bazaar is crowded, the atmosphere is great, but customers are blocking the filming. When the bazaar is not crowded, it's easier to film, but there's not much to film. There's no food preparation when there's no customer's orders 😀
As we enter the month-long Ramadan period, this video footage has effectively conveyed the start of the Hari Raya Light Up along with the Geylang Bazaar to us, bringing a sense of presence. In the video content, although there was a reduction in the number of stalls this time, your camera zooms in on the people of the stores working hard to make food, all of which looked very delicious!👌😊🌮 It will continue to get more exciting from here on,won’t it! Ramadan Bazaars come quickly after the Chinese New Year Bazaars. People are in festive mood and spending money without hesitation. This is good for the economy. I look forward to the Ramadan Bazaars as the feel is different. The retail stalls are still not ready but the food stalls are doing very well. With the reduced number of stalls, this is good for them. The stall vendors are all working very hard and I wish them well. Yosh and Iku, thanks for you support ❤️
I need to go back to try some food. Some of these looked tempting and sinful. I ate Ramly Burger that day. I rate it 4 out of 10. It was below standard.
I still have lingering cough but definitely in good spirit. Will be touring some bazaars to share the festive spirit. This is another happy festive season in Singapore ❤️

It was the most expensive last year. This year it's not, as the stall rental cost has been capped at S$15k, down from S$25k. Food prices are about the same as in other bazaars.Thanks for watching.
From Wisma Geylang Serai, the entrance to the bazaar is where they sell various barang barang. Walk right to the end and you see the kebab stall on the left. The otah stall is facing the kebab stall. You'll have to wait till next year to visit them. Haha.
