I REALLY love this effect. Unbelievable work from the team at TCC Magic. Purchase from TCC HERE collabs.shop/irnjje (affiliate) and remember to use DISCOUNT code "EVERYTHINGMAGICPRO" at checkout for an additional 15% off your entire order!
Something to keep in mind, depending on where you are performing, using this prop may be more trouble than its worth. I know you could make the same arguement with a card sword, or a butter knife to cut open a lemon, but this looks like a decorative knife that could be misconstrued as a weapon. Be careful where you take this and defintely only use this prop at appropriate events
Of course. At the end of the day a knife is a knife and must be treated carefully. However, there are different laws for “weapons” used in performance art. People should do their due diligence when using props like this.
Thank you for the great review and I can only support your evaluation. I was long on the fence as there are so many MO effects. But the piece looks so great and special that it carries some atmosphere to make mentalism interesting. Will I use the knife as the routine proposes - most probably not. But it lends itself to so many presentation opportunities-amazing.
UK legal carry law states that blades up to 3” (7.26cm) come under “UK Friendly” knives. Weapons for theatrical purposes also come with certain exemptions that other knives don’t.

Happy to hear my review helped you make a decision 😃
Not sure how legal it would be to carry this round or use it on the streets here in the UK
