@@charlesjohnst10 You might have the bluetooth only version of the controller 69. When looking at the back of the unit. If it says CTR69P then you should have wifi capabilities. If its reads CTR69A then it is Bluetooth only.
Just as a heads up there’s an added extra feature that is a Sunrise/Sunset setting where can set a time period for your light to slowly turn on and advance levels to the max set level and for it to slowly dim until it’s completely off. It creates a great way to recreate the natural sun and you can even time it up with your local sunrise and sunset. Just as a heads up for sunrise set it 1hr before you want it to actually turn on if set for at least a couple hr duration (not stated in manual for lights or controllers).
Thank you for the video. I did find this controller somewhat convoluting but it helped to see a break down. Thank you for your contribution to this fascinating hobby
Great video for all those considering the Controller 69 Pro, after watching this video the 69 will definitely be a future purchase, love all AC Infinity products.
Thanks for the info on the controller. I just picked up a 6 inch with the controller and will get one more for the other side - greenhouse. These things are amazing just have to say. Plus the controller is awesome , to observe temps at work on cold/ hot days and adjust things.
Hey thanks for the video, I was looking into purchasing the controller and ventilation system. Lots of info, answered some questions, I think I'm going to do it.
Thanks for the video, great content! Purchased my first grow tent today, from AC Infinity. Previously I've been growing using shelves and custom made aluminum foil reflective flaps reinforced with duct tape. Managed to grow ton of basil indoor and also 3 tomato plants last year. But this year i pulled the trigger and decided to upgrade my setup as I'm not able to manage heat levels and humidity using shelves and flaps anymore, due having started seeds late this year. Now I got basil and tomato plants with leaves cupping due to very low humidity (
Yea! Ok bear with me. So you have to make sure that the controller identifies that a light is plugged into the port. Whether it actually is a light or you are using the UIS plug adapter. You can do this when you're in the main view, select the port you want to work on and then hitting the little gear icon in the top right corner. This will get you to the port settings. In here you can denote what type of device is in the port. When the device type is grow light, you will see an option below it to set the duration for sunrise and sunset. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
Also to edit what I said earlier, it looks like you cannot use the sunrise/sunset function if you have it plugged into the UIS plug adapter. That serves as just an on/off pretty much.
So the recipe section. Does this just automatically utilize any grow components ? Like heater , lights, fans? So it makes all necessary adjustments to your setup?
The mullet-tide is pretty aggressive, I'll give you that, but a very well laid out, well explained video. As an HVAC guy in my day job, referring to molex as old HVAC stuff... Yup yup yup! Well done
I think I need controller for dummies...I need to know what products will plug into this unit like LED lights and how to know what ones work with it. I know in the winter I'll need to heat the tent or the space it's in? I'll also need to lower the humidity, it's a pretty damp room due to Cender block walls partly below ground level. Any direction is appreciated.
Hey there! Ac Infinity products would work the best but they do have a smart outlet that you can plug any device into. I’m a new grower and 60. I have the 3x3 infinity. Wi fi capability I have a separate humidifier since their is on back order. Help me understand, does one pick ONE way - auto, on/off/,auto,VPD,cycle, timer on , timer off, schedule ?? I’m so confused, is it either or ? How do you know what each port , I have the main fan, the light & oscillating fan. The humidifier is on back order. I do have one inside the tent separate from the controls. Is there a place I can learn “what do I want my light intensity to be “? Or what do I want my fan settting when the machine is off or on ? Main question, do I just use one of those ? Or all of those options. Thank you for any and all advice
Hey there! It seems like a bunch of information you are looking for! No biggie, it just might be easier to give us a call at (716) 217-0353 or send us an email to help@happyhydro.com
Hey! They do have RJ adapter cables for lights, you'll just have to figure out if you need Type A or Type B. As far as the other devices, AC Infinity does have control outlets that you can plug a device into and that will feed into the controller 69 pro. The only limitation is that you can only program the control outlet to turn on and off.
Hey this is a great question and I am not too sure at this moment. I believe them to be separate controllers that but Ill do some digging around for you!
Do other compatible AC Infinity devices connect to the 69 Pro Controller through Bluetooth, or do they need plugging directly into the Controller ports? Great video too! Very insightful and well delivered.
@@HappyHydro Thank you. The future sure is an exciting one! can you connect a camera to the controller that would be cool cause then you can literally physically monitor your plants when you're not even home, not only see the data
It is minimally compatible. They make smart plugs that you can plug other devices in and then into the controller but it will primarily just control it as an On/Off function
