SOLUTION: I finally figured it out. You have to press and hold BOTH "Rhythm" and "Tone" (I'm on a CTK-3500 but I think it's the same) to the right of the screen. This takes you back to normal operation. I wish there were a setting that locks you into this mode so you don't have to worry about the silly beats jumping in during a gig.
ORIGINAL POST: How do you turn OFF all the dance music functions and get back to normal keyboard operation. It's actually a functional keyboard for a reasonable price but all these stupid "features" keep getting turned on and the only way I've been able to turn them off is to turn off the whole keyboard, reboot it, and then find the sound I was using. It's very annoying. All these videos and the manual should begin by telling you how to switching between normal and dance modes quickly and easily.

      Hello
When you boot up the keyboard, it will be at the very first sound by default "001 St. GrPiano"
All you need to do is look at the number keys you have at your right, you'll notice there's two buttons with the labels + and -
You need to press +, this will scroll through the available sounds the keyboard has. On the screen, you'll see it changing and telling you which sound you're on. The one you're looking for is "011 E.Grand"

I got problem with this keyboard. When I press keys especially in a chord, extra notes are playing and that make the chord sound incorrectly. I'm so frustrated with it. Thought of using hair dryer to fix the problem that may be caused by humidity and even disassembled it to directly air the circuit board, it is just fixed temporarily but the problem this goes back quickly. I'm so fruatrated because I can't afford to buy a new one huhuhu. Hope there will be a deeper tutorial to solve it.

Yes, as long as you have a 6.35 mm adapter and a 3.5 mm aux cord, you can plug it into your microphone jack on the computer and it will be able to record. Keep in mind, though, it requires some tweaking to get the sound just right (it usually is very loud by default)

This is NOT a toy. It's a digital keyboard. Any pro should be able to perform on this. Someone who says they NEED to play on an expensive piano is expressing their own limitations of adaptability. Sure, it's not weighted keys, but some people literally prefer this type of 'synth' feel. These kinds of (cheaper) keyboards are all about replaying samples of sound. Casio has been working on these samples for decades. If you listen to the keyboard through its own speakers, you won't get the real story. The built in speakers are for practicing. Also, it does make a pretty cheap midi-over-usb controller. My last note is that Casio makes a new keyboard model, the CTS-300, and it's the same internals, entirely new user interface, and a better feeling key bed (and a pitch bend wheel! and is touch sensitive!)

no, it doesn't have midi support, or in other words, it doesn't have midi port.

There is no MIDI port on this keyboard. (If you want MIDI, check out the CTK-3500.)

@@artgonzalez9581 Hello, recording is a little tedious on this keyboard since you do need to follow some steps and know what you're doing when it comes to leveling up the volume.
The keyboard has a 6.35 mm output jack on its back, you need to find an adapter for it to convert it to 3.5 mm, then, you need to plug an aux cord to the 3.5 mm jack, from the keyboard to your computer's microphone jack.
When this is setup, you'll need to go into your microphone settings, habilitate the option to "listen to the microphone" and this is how you'll be able to figure out just how loud the output sounds so that you may turn it down, either on your keyboard itself or (recommended) the settings on your computer in the same window you brought up.
After this is done, and your keyboard is sounding right, then you just need a software to record it on. Maybe Audacity (since it's free), or any program like Fl Studio or Ableton (these are for music production). In any case, you'd need to look up for tutorials on how to record on the program of your choosing.
If you're wondering how it might sound in the end, I recommend you listen to a song I uploaded to my channel named "Undercover", from my "redtie" album.
I used the keyboard on almost all of the songs in that album, but "Undercover" is the only song in which all of the sounds came from the keyboard (drums, bass, guitars and piano).
And even though I added a little bit of effects and mastering, the sounds are pretty raw and pretty much the same as the keyboars, I didn't alter them a lot.
      Hope this helps!
