Ours was an arranged marriage (15 years ago) and we didn't know each other too well when we got married. The day after our marriage was Vishu. My husband handed me his purse and told me I could keep it with me and use how much ever I wanted to give as Kaineettams for my cousins and relatives. Without him saying it verbally it felt as if it was all OUR money - not his or mine. I never was into money ever, but that moment I felt so close to him and I fell for him...🥰
