I've been watching professional videos for several years and have benefited about 70% of them. Where he explained them and their accuracy in their own way, but they did not reach much to the highest professionalism. I respect them. But I have been following you for a while and for the first time I find someone in this field better than the ones I have seen in my life. It is not a compliment in you, but you are a professional teacher and your explanation is very smooth and clear and you have innovative ways. In this field, you are number one. Thank you. I wish you to continue and move forward. Thank you
Thanks a lot . I am a beginner in welding...TIG.. and I learned a lot from it. Your best clips. You teach us the numbers of electric current and so on. Most clips don't do that. Thank you very much n my heart. You are really a great teacher.
Great Video , it´s helping me to learn new tricks. My last Welding is 25 years ago. Now I bought me a Wig AC-DC Welding, and l have to practice, practice, practice Greetings from Lingen (Germany) Peter
I phoned all the suppliers in Edmonton to inquire about this..... Not one had any idea what I was talking about........ha ha... Thanks for the video. Best wishes.
So far, most of the content I've seen on this topic has been advertising! This is a very good presentation, covered a lot of possibilities in twelve minutes! This is a new thing to me, I think we've been waiting for it! I have several TIG power supplies, only one has "SPOT" mode, and none of them have the micro (millisecond) or repeating pulse modes. This seems easy and economical in the context of electronic power supplies, so I guess if any more TIG machines are purchased I'll definitely be looking for this feature! The discoloration and distortion of welding this material seem to be very low!
As I just purchased a cold welder and instructions are lacking, this has helped with learning curve. Most cold weld videos out there are of a niche and really do not explain the practical side at all. Thank you!
I did my first cold weld a couple of days ago on my new TIG (my first TIG) and it was a 1mm outside corner. It came out great! I later destroyed it when trying regular TIG technique... This is exactly what I need for some repairs I has been saving for either brazing or TIGging. Thank you so much!

I definitely wish I spoke Korean but let's stay with English for now... After watching all those Chinese videos titled "crazy welding", "China Tech girl" and others whom only do so and prompted probably by the cold welder manufacturers to 'promote' or 'peak' our curiosity into buying their "mystery cold welders" (let's face it, no Chinese does it to "enlighten us or for the 'fun' of it, with them there's always a catch), it's so refreshing to finally have an educated opinion about the subject from a knowledgeable welder such as you. After watching these, I'm sure that most of us welders, would like to buy a Micro-Tig machine and experiment what this micro Tig process is all about. I've been "itching" to buy one of those cold welders from Andeli in China but I always repent from doing so because a little 'voice' in the back of my head says: 'you'll gonna gamble your money into the unknown', specially buying from the Chinese and with shady warranties. So, I don't understand why neither Miller or Lincoln or any reputable company doesn't fabricate a 'cold welder' since they've been on business forever... What's the big deal of adding a timed spot "feature" to their already expensive welders? But if you could point us in the right direction according to the experience you have using these machines and their reliability, that could really bring us peace of mind, heck! At least we could find out which ones are not only reliable but long lasting and effective. Much Obliged if you could provide any info. & I'm definitely subscribing. I've watched many of your other videos and this one with the proper English translation, really has made a difference. Many thanks to your translator and your effort.
The real reason why Lincoln, Miller and other expensive brand's don't include micro-spot mode on his welding machine is the market that this brands compite. Lincoln and Miller offers INDUSTRIAL welding machines to huge factories and workshops that majoritary welds thicker materials like structures, pipelines, heavy machinery, etc where micro-spot weld is useless. When a Andeli and other chinese "cheap" brands offers a inovative cheap products dedicated to independent-professional people that need to weld miniature parts, or thin delicate materials. Is completely different markets.

You can do the same thing on .0293 sheet metal with just a standard tig welder on about 30-45 amps through a pedal. You can pedal pump or have good technique with the torch and achieve the look without filler rod as well. But tig welding thin sheet is pretty necessary skill for a standard welder. You don’t need a special pulse. Which is really common as well. Just a standard tig welder and a pedal and some argon.

Thank you HAGOJIBI, best explanation of cold welding I have found on UA-cam! The term clashes with another definition of welding by using pressure causing confusion.
