These phrases will help you communicate basic needs and greetings in Nepali:
Namaste Hajur 🙏 = Hello Mr/Mrs
K chha Hajur? = How are you, sir/madam?
Hajur = A polite and respectful way of addressing someone
Patan kataa holaa Hajur? = Where/Which way is Patan, sir?
Kati? = How much?
Taxi vadaa kati? = How is the taxi fare?
Bill kati vayo? = How much is the bill?
Dhanyabaad Hajur! = Thank you sir!
Saathi = Friend
Dai / Vai = Big Brother / Little brother
Didi / Baini = Big sister / Little sister
Raamro = Good/Beautiful
Daami = Awesome / Great! / Best

The commotion was for new year. Nepal sambat. Nepal uses 3 calender. Nepal sambat, bikram sambat & international AD.
You do not have to mix all for daal bhaat or thakali. Just add one by one. Or you can eat with daal bhaat and add other accompanying side dishes. For most good experience of taste use your hand. Use your four fingers to pick up your food and scoop into your mouth with your thumb.

Bro holmie what up with the LA hat anyway you supposed to eat them separately with the rice not make a gumbo out of it for example a little rice with just some chicken and then take a wee bit bite of cucumber or pickle for added taste maybe a half spoon of curd then you move on and do the same with the lentil soup and then the vegetables mix anyway it’s all good and have papad for dessert peace🐯
