The "pea pods" I bought seem to be the exact thing with you. With your lovely instructions, I'll cook them your way. I was actually thinking about tossing them. You saved my peas:}
@HealthOrigins A buddy told me to leave peas 🫛 in the skin... cut ends off and cut in half. Then grab a frying pan, add olive oil, butter, a little suger, and cook for a few minutes eating everything. I actually tried it, and it was actually quite good. I just didn't know if the skins had nutrients that were good for you vs. The rat poison corporations feed us from wallystreet I mean walmart.
@themusclebob23 you can probably eat them like this when they are very young, but when they are fully grown and mature, it will be too stringy. You can always try it for yourself 🙂

Oh, absolutely, can't be wasting our precious food! 😁
Thank you for sharing, now I know better, I mean I use peas all the time in my meals.
You're very welcome 🙂
This is so cool, reminds me of living in England. I miss mushy peas, I bought one in the can, that's how desperate I was.
Yes, the wonders of mushy peas! 😁
Mushy peas 🤢🤢😫😫🤮🤮🤮😂😂😂
Interesting. I love peas
Yes, peas are delicious, especially fresh from the pods, if it's a sweet variety.
How long do you cook snow peas to get them really tender
These are green peas that I was cooking. For snow peas, best to take one pod and taste it, so you know when it's ready for next time 🙂
Great and informative video. Shauna Rozier
Thanks Shauna 🙂
You do know you can peel the skin off the inside of the pod and cook them too, right?
Yes, of course, the usual way 🙂
Which is your favourite way to use green peas?
i was looking how to make peas cook so i can add it to my stew can you release a video how to make it in a stew
Fresh peas cook very quickly, so you could add these to your stew (without pods) in the last 5-7 minutes 🙂
Can you eat the skins?
I wouldn't, they're too stringy.
