Man I was so happy when they revived Paragon but they still have a lot of work to do, and quite a few characters left to put in from the old Paragon.
5, technicly 6 so not that 'many'
Paragon was the best. It got me into PC gaming many many years ago when it was still called Paragon and in Beta. It hardly got any attention back then so it's good to see it finally get the love and attention it deserves. My family and I waited close to 10 years to play this game again and now we play it every night together.

Played original one, Paragon, after some time Epic Games pulled the plug...😢 game really sucked me in, when ive seen it revived it made me tingle 😁
Dota was the original moba, that was the original name of the created game play mode back when war craft 3? Launched it was one of the community created side modes that was really popular back then however blizzard screwed up when they didn't take the chance at useing the Dota devs to create their own separate moba do Dota 2 was safely away from their corruption

@@DarkAbyss-em5ly the original to predecessor is paragon, a game made by epic, the studio behind fortnite. that's what they meant by they played the original
They pulled the plug to use the developers on Fortnite and it broke my heart and made me hate Fortnite lol
this makes me so happy! I was bummed when paragon died, I was a Revenant main and I didn't want to go to Smite to get my itch scratched, been watching the early access for awhile and am really glad to see that it hasn't died off and is genuinely improved from Paragon and is getting exposure!

Yes, they used all the Paragon assets and updated them to Unreal Engine 5. Epic games gave them a small loan of $20 million for free. I been playing early access since it was available and they are very good at balancing the characters

@@bighersh3565 they got rid of the card system which is what was holding Paragon back. Now you can actually counter build during a gane

Fr looks like the longest ad I seen for years + it's a MOBA, why they tough making an non-moba player making the ad will be a good idea. Fr I feels like the new salesman talking about PCs not knowing more than the difference between ROM and RAM. "Did I forget to tell you it's f2p" ?

the Hero's are ancient gods from older religions? "smite lore" sounds so funny to me lol.
there is some barebones lore already, like phase being responsible for shinbi's rise in the music industry or murdock being the superior to lt. belica. i am sure there is much more to come since they wanted to focus on finishing the game before doing the 'uneccessary' stuff
