An arbor press is basically a machine designed to force parts together. The one's used for relatively small (smaller than engine cylinder liners or truck tire rims) are mounted on a study bench sort of thing and powered by a human being assisted by the leverage of gearing.
A proper large vice will do much the same thing with perhaps a bit more care. A large rubber hammer, a wood block and a determined attitude (hard head) will serve for limited use.
    Web search is always illuminating.

Cases for 9.5X57 can be easily formed from fresh .35 Whelen brass using the regular two die reloading set from RCBS (#637501) and cutting to proper length.

I can forgive you for this bad pronounciation. Greetings from Austria!

Looks to me like a Mighty-Mickey-Mouse-Machine. I thought a real arbor press was so strong, with a long lever, you might be able to do the reforming without the expected repetitive stress damage to your wrist, elbow and shoulder. Why pay some doctor to repair all the injuries? Also, does the WD-40 ever get INSIDE the cases??? Bambi is now safe! Venison from Wall Mart!

Right. It is not a real arbor press that is why I called it “Mickey mouse,” that is what that means. I could not justify spending 500.00 on a real one to form 100 cases. WD40 on the outside of the cases did not get inside and harm anything. It will kill primers but the cases were not primed. I did not soak the cases in WD40. I promise Bambi has in fact died with that ammo so do not worry. Thank you for your less than astute observations.
