Love the new format, it makes sense to showcase the products you loved so much you used them all up vs the other end of the spectrum, the “I want it out of my house” products
i want it out of my house hahahaha
Can I just say that your Long empties videos are life! ❤
I just love watching your videos! I think that you are a unique individual who expresses themselves in a way many of us envy. You just make my day with your expressions, laughter and silly, but enjoyable, jokes. My husband even stops what he's doing sometimes to watch. I do not like short form content which is why I started watching you in the first place. Keep up the great content and your advocacy for all humans who want to wear makeup!❤
they have SHAMPOO???
Your energy is my fave. I greatly appreciate you ❤.
My scalp has been flake and itchy and I’ve had acne on my back for decades, even after my face cleared up. I started using the Good Juju shampoo and conditioner bars in the winter and everything cleared up - I was not expecting that but love that it happened!!
Oh boy, welcome to the neurospicy community! Not to be too forward, but I spent the first two years of the pandemic in an ADHD rabbit hole, so if you have any questions at all and/or thoughts to vent, feel free to shoot me a message.
I have to put my hair up at the very end and clean the base of my scalp, you know where the hair starts, and all around my ears. AND sometimes I use a acid wipe. Such a pain, so I feel you.
Not a doctor, just a fellow Aries sun Aries moon who was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and…yeah… I’ve thought it several times but it didn’t seem appropriate to say. But it’s part of what makes you awesome and my one of my favorite creators!
I'm an Aries with ADHD too lol, the struggle is real
I bought a sweatshirt from your shop! Super excited about that, as who does not love a solid sweatshirt?
Second, I bought the lipstick from Make Beauty and omg it feels so nice and so pretty, wears well and now I feel I need more.
1) I LOVE Osea and you totally introduced me to it 2) I had the same thought about comparing Topaz and Bikini (though mine has clearly gone off half way through 😢) 3) it’s always so interesting to me how different people’s scent preferences can be because I LOVE Bal d’Afrique
Holy hell, you look absolutely gorgeous
Have you checked out the Odelle hair care line? It’s at Target and has an eczema friendly line (so fragrance free, etc.) and they have a dry shampoo 👍🏼
This is so chaotic, but i’m so entertained 😂😂😂
The DDG Peel Pads are AHA/BHA in Step 1 and Retinol in Step 2 😅
HWHAT!L>KJFOS
Yes!! I constantly put something somewhere thinking it’s a great place and then don’t find it again until way past when I needed it. It’s ridiculous!
Request to use the new PMG bronzers as eyeshadow - I’m a pale person but that deep shade looks like it might be the perfect tone for a brown buildable eyeshadow that would be versatile for simple looks and for adding more drama when I want to. Would love your thoughts!
Currently anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Natasha Denon-er contour powder which will add to my ever growing collection of Kackie approved beauty purchases. 😂
Try Necessaire fragrance free shampoo & conditioner. I have SD and eczema and switch to it when I’m having a flare. Also the Nizoral psoriasis shampoo is fantastic as a scalp treatment. I’ll do it like once or twice a week when my skin is acting up. I have fine hair, so I have to wash it daily, especially because of my ultra sensitive skin. There just aren’t enough hair products for people with skin issues!
Lol the "oh wrong number" phone call in the middle of the video is so funny, idk why
I own the Make Beauty eyebrow pencil. You can easily clean the spoolie on the end. Just clean it like you clean your other brushes.
They make the peel pads in two tubs that arn't single wrapped, I think they are on derm store or they use to? Worth looking at for less waste :)
OOH! thank you!!
I’m convinced that the Kosas powder is the only powder that I will ever successfully pan! I have two colors in it right now and I have to admit both of the lids have completely detached themselves but I’ll still keep buying it 😂
Hi kackie! Curious to see what that shirt looks like! So pretty! ❤❤❤
How do you rinse your hair? Are you standing straight or are you bending? I bend when I wash my hair so shampoo and conditioner don't get on my neck. That way I don't get breakouts on my neck. I barely found shampoo that doesn't irritate my scalp most of the time, I won't search for hair products that won't cause me breakouts too 😅.
I was diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago as an adult. Not very uncommon anymore, which i think is really good! My wife was diagnosed first, and because my presentation was pretty different from theirs (I'm inattentive and spacy, they're more hyper/impulsive) I didnt even consider seeking treatment until they learned more about ADHD and suggested I do. Long way of saying if you're thinking about looking into it: it has done a lot for me to know what's going on with my brain and have the language to communicate it to others. This goes for any neurodivergent traits or mental illness, not just ADHD.
I thoroughly enjoy Kackie chaos! I am also a Glossier You hater, bought the replica lazy sunday morning travel spray based on your pure enthusiasm. Cant wait to try when my sephora order comes.
I just got Lazy Sunday Morning and while I do like it I think it smells very similar to Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDT.
@@sarahdumais5998 I rarely wear a fragrance, so I hope I like it. I've never smelled the one you referenced either🤷♀️
@@sarahdumais5998 I'm so glad you said that! I haven't tried that replica one yet.
My stepmom gifted me her Narciso Rodriguez For Her a while back, because while it smelled amazing on her, it disappeared quickly. On me, it was instant headache/nausea, and I couldn't *wash* it off. Lasted forever. Lol I can't handle that scent anymore.
Since we're sharing scalp flake/itch routines: Kloraine mango shampoo bar and mango conditioner are really gentle and soothing. I keep the conditioner on the lengths of my hair but it can be used as a cowash so im not worried about it being on my scalp. I also recently tried Shea Naturals pre-shampoo scalp treatment (salicylic acid) and it's been working well to clear up my scalp. It feels amazing and it means i can treat dandruff and still use a shampoo that's better for my sensitive scalp after.
I see your face and hear you speak and I just get happy.
The dove fragrance free dry shampoo is pretty effective and it is the only one that does not break me out! It's nothing fancy but it does the trick!
Try the Klorane dry shampoos! I use the powder and the aerosol, can’t recommend enough. Most other dry shampoos, even the Living Proof, make my scalp itch so bad, but Klorane and I 💘
WE TRIED TO WARN YOU ABOUT NORTHERN WINTERS WHEN IT FIRST SNOWED THERE hahahahaha I kid ♥️ the end is near!!
I stopped washing my hair every day a long time ago mostly to preserve my color but it’s doing wonders for my hair. The only hair products I allow on my hair are Kevin Murphy, Christoph Robin and Leonor Greyl. None of their products are cheap but my hair is worth it. Also, you’re probably doing this already but of course wash your face and body after washing your hair. I also use a glycolic acid body wash.
I've been trying to wash my hair less, but then I feel like I just need to use more dry shampoo. And then I get breakouts around my hairline, but like, in my hair. I just want my hair to be styled without me having to actually do anything with it. Ugh.
I do a 4-5 day cycle. I wash at night, prep and set in a sleep-style. The next day hair is usually perfect. It lasts 1-2 days. Day 3 i brush it out and heat style with just a touch of dry shampoo. Either loose or up. Day 4 i let that style loose with a bit more dry shampoo. It's usually messy or relaxed.
Sometimes I can manage 5 days, and i only really use too much dry shampoo on day 5. - I'll do a half up half down or something.
I've been doing this for about a year with care tips from professor blowout and it really helped me simplify and grow out my hair.
Not sure if that is at all helpful but maybe something from my experience will inspire you to experiment. :)
@Art_of_Ayan I think I just have a need to wear up too much, like for my job and for the gym. Then, once I put it up once, I feel like I need to heat style again to get it resembling something nice. Le sigh. You'd think after turning 34, I'd have a system down by now for my hair, hah.
Act + Acre has a powder dry shampoo that is formulated to be fragrance free and acne safe. Worth checking out!!
Re: Merit Beauty, this is purely local Los Angeles politics, but I was done with them as a brand when their founder promoted Rick Caruso (billionaire, secret Republican) for Mayor of LA. Thankfully he lost, much to the disappoint of the other celebs who supported him (Kim K, Gwyneth P, etc)
I have fine hair as well. I slowly transitioned to washing every other day and that has helped reset some of the oil production. I also have sensitive skin. My favorite shampoo and conditioner that works best for me is from Oligo, specifically the moisture balance cleanser and and moisture balance conditioner. Their styling products have worked really well for me as well, like the 18 in 1 beautifier. Maybe these will work for you 😊
There are a lot of makeup products that intrigue me but I know are not something that I would use consistently. The CT/Tarte wands are exactly that. Overall I prefer powder products but am always wanting to try creams and liquids. Having a less expensive alternative allows me to try and see if I like the product without investing $100s. If I do happen to like it I can invest in the higher quality product later.
Okay, I immediately grabbed that Iconolab face oil. That sounds amazing!
Ohhhh the adhd realness i feel in my SOUL
I actually love Glossier You and Nest Wild Poppy.
The way you talk about the Laura merrier finishing spray is how I feel about the one size spray 😢
I don’t have particularly reactive skin. But I used dry shampoo regularly for 3 years in a row, my scalp went through it. I stopped and the itchy and burning went away, but I had a solid 2 weeks of flaking scalp. So I stopped for a few years, and decided to try the Living Proof because of the actual cleaning claims. And it does make hair feel lighter and fresher. Fast fwd 6 weeks later, and the the itchy burning scalp came back with a vengeance. Whatever is in the dry shampoo is not being washed away properly. Even with a clarifying shampoo and chemical exfoliant mask. I just stay away, which sucks because I have 2 big cans of it!
You might want to try one of those powder poof squeeze dry shampoos. Briogio, Verb and I’m sure others have them. You must put those on at night! The dispenser is trash but they are more targeted, last longer and are a bit kinder to skin.
Wow, was such succinct and elegant response from me 😂
There is literally nothing better than the osea body butter and oil
Chaos Kackie strikes again with the Trixie reference and then a "bald freak" joke 😂👏
oh crap what was my trixie reference
@@kackie that your hair is a skinny legend
Retinol is the Key Ingredient in Step 2 of Alpha Beta Daily Peels, both Universal and Extra-Strength.
Ooooo, loving your top! 🫶 or sundress? Gorgeous
thank you! It's a dress from Carolina K!
If they still make it, Clinique has an exceptional body butter. It was part of their Deep Comfort line. And its fragrance free.
Do you know that the chemist that made the Skinceutical cream has made Dieux Skin Instant Angel too? It’s worth a try because many people love it even more❤
I love Dieux
😱 I cannot believe you just shat on Bal d'Afrique, one of my most beloved perfumes (alongside Bibliothèque, from Byredo too, and both Eau Duelle as well as Philosykos from Dyptique). I know body chemistry is very personal, but I'm so surprised you compared it to Glossier You, which smells like straight up dishwasher on me 😅 Which one do you love from Byredo ? Do you have a holy grail scent ? Mmm, I would watch a scent based video, if you make one 😊
How is it that I've been thinking naturium is the same as necessare? I've heard you talk about the body wash before, but then there's also a natruim body wash that a bunch of people talk about?!
yes and Hannah got hooked on the Naturium one at my house! I wasn't as huge of a fan of it, hence it being in the guest bathroom hahaa
I agree, the Flamingo shaving cream is so good and everyone needs to know! I buy them at Meijer
Pat McGrath just dropped mini blushes!!! Do I ordered one 🤣🤣🤣
Act+Acre Plant-Based Dry Shampoo! It’s clean, fragrance-free, eco-friendly & actually effective! Easily one of my favorites, even though I love a good smelling product. lol No skin irritation. 👍🏻
I always reacted to shampoo and conditioner and constantly had a scalp itch and itching down my back. About 4 years ago I switched to conditioner only wash and I have never looked back. I use a Canadian brand called Oneka and I use the fragrance free version. Amazing as a cowash. If my hair is extra dirty or has product in it then I will wash twice. I use about a palmful every wash. It does take about 2-3 months to train your hair and scalp though.
How'd ya get those loose curls Kackilina? Beautiful
Hey Khaki etal- re sensitive to hair products: before I get out of the shower I twist my LONG hair up in a clip and cleanse my body and back again. Then before I do my hair I put on a CUTTING CAPE so my products don’t get on my clothes and/or body. Also Authentic Beauty Concepts. Love their fragrance free - free of everything styling products - not a fan of their cleansers/conditioners- still hunting on that one.
I highly recommend the SEEN hair products (especially the fragrance free). I have highly sensitive, acne-prone, eczema skin and they are fabulous for me. ❤from Texas
Me too! They've worked well for me.
Try the ordinary aha/bha peeling solution. It’s pretty potent exfoliant and you can be environmentally conscious.
Kackie, I’m devastated to report that the Givenchy concealer didn’t work for me 😔 I used it with the VB primer and the Guerlain L’or primer (on both AM prepped skincare and on leftover skincare from the night before, also on top of the Laura Mercier Light Revealer) and it just kind of sludged around my face and brought so much texture out and emphasized my pores 😭 Am I doing it wrong? Dior is my long time favorite concealer but I want to love the Givenchy so badly 😢
Me: quietely diagnosing you with ADHD for the 17th time as you complain about how loud the shampoo bottle is
You: Making the connection two minutes later
Me: Welcome to the cluuuuuuub!
I think you are the only youtuber I watch who I don't feel the need to adjust to 1.5 or double speed. We just run at a faster pace than most, I find the chaos so calming! 😄
I just learned today Oribe is pronounced 'orri-bay' 🤯 Also ever since you made the pink peppercorn // old cigarettes connection for me I cannot wear Glossier You anymore! I trust your perception more than my own
Loving ❤️ the curls today
I bought the solid glossier you perfume, mostly for the little package…I want one in the neroli scent because it’s my favorite scent in general…I have their deodorant in thr neroli and I apply it whenever I’m in my bathroom, so it’s like a perfume to me…
Kackie please try a brand called "no nothing" for hair products, I have the same issues as you where fragrance in hair care and body care breaks me out,. No nothing is completely fragrance free and they make dry shampoo, mousse, etc (their mousse is everything).
ps. the Josie Maran eczema body butter (different than their regular one) is the best thing to ever bless my dry skin and it breaks my heart because I will not be spending $40 something on a body butter more than once.
Using glycolic and Retinol can be great as long as your skin isn't irritated by it! i've had great results with this combo! :) Thanks for the vid Kackie!
Hey kackie! I really want to try the soft services buffing bar , but they only ship within the US. Could you try the necessaire exfoliating bar and compare them?
Ulta carries the 9 oz bottle of the Osea body oil. Definitely a better deal when you look at price per oz. Especially if you go through it over and over.
Lololololololol.... Oh man, giiiiirrrrrlllllllll. Yeah, I think we thought you knew you were ADHD 😂😂😂😂😂😂 At least I did. Luv luv luv luv 🥰🥰🥰🥰
What in the vice grip happened to that ouai bottle?! 😂 grab every last drop!
Not sure if this will be the same for you, but the LP advanced clean breaks me out, and the original does not! Also the scent is less strong, and it does the job well. (Also their texturizing spray is so good.)
The briogio dry shampoo is the only one that never irritates my skin I love the living proof one as well but my scalp hates it sometimes 😂
Four Reasons (previously known as No Nothing) has a fragrance free dry shampoo. Works great for me.
I think we have similar scent.. taste so I'm gonna start paying attention 🫡, because im just dipping my toes into the fragrance garden and def team vanilla, def team citrus
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
The IGK charcoal dry shampoo is good and doesn't bother my sensitive skin.
Love
Benson & Hedges 😂
I would recommend The Blowdry Professor channel for hair help 😊
dood! Jersey is just batshit and we just need to accept it. it'll never make sense. was born there, didn't grow up there, but went to college there. no matter how many times I returned to NJ it never made sense.
not good or bad. just had no logic lol
F in the chat and one poured out for the homie for not having a target near by 😪
Wait! Which shade do you have there in the Kosas cloud set?? I very much missed everything
She finished the shade Airy (lightest one) and has a backup, plus the next one, which I think is Breezy, but it didn't sound like she's tried that shade yet
I’ve just finished my Bobbi brown brow pencil but when I got the refill it didn’t come with a spoolie and they don’t sell spoolies individually 😞
Hi, it’s me I’m beauty trash
ME TOO hahahaha
The glycolic body wash from sane kind as body wash is good too
Would you recommend the Osea oil and/or body butter for pregnancy?
Living proof dry shampoo also breaks me out too. I feel like I can either have bad skin or bad hair and sometimes both but never good skin AND good hair. If you figure out the secret please share!!!
The only no fragrance shampoo and conditioners that’s worked for me is No Nothing brand… Kristen Ess has a few no fragrance products too I think!
Hair products 💯 cause breakouts. I was having a terrible fight with acne last year and found out that I’m super sensitive to algae in products (and supplements). If you haven’t sussed out algae…you might give it a look!❤
♥️♥️♥️
I want so badly to true the reverse emulsion but Make Beauty doesn't ship to Canada 😭
I love NJ and I’ve lived here my whole life, we’ve always been known for unpredictable sometimes upsetting wether but it’s never been this bad. Definitely climate change :(
OLAPLEX DRY SHAMPOO
FAM, I could use some encouragement. I'm going on vacation at the end of May and I'm trying to talk myself into paying someone to cut my hair. That would be a good thing, right?🥺
Girl get that hair cut! I'm on the spectrum and struggle so bad with hair cuts but I get through it because it feels WONDERFUL when it's done! Google salons near you, read the reviews and go from there! ✂️💇♀️🩷
Do it!!
I stand by my disdain towards patchouli. I don't care what it's blended with, it ruins everything it touches.
No words...
I need to know how you keep your teeth SO WHITE!!
Glossier you literally smells like wet latex paint on my skin
I think you'd like Pacco Rabane's Fame if you like sexy citrus
Bikini is definitely more pink
“ I definitely have ADHD, OK”
We know
😂😅❤️😘🫵
