Moonlight Gems Art lovely chap once met him was walking back from work in lambert.he was walking to some theatre on the embankment.talked to me for a good 5mins very smart too .
That’s the experience of an actor who’s worked with a low budget! The rule is always finish the take because you might be able to salvage something from it!
Steve actually said in an interview that Reece gets the most into character and isn’t afraid to go full out for his scenes, which sometimes involves him breaking things 😂😂
I love 4:23 . That man was so sweet and concerned about someone lying on the pavement when two other people were shouting, that he didn't realize they were filming. He just went in to help ❤
The funniest part (if memory serves) is that they're acting a scene where a member of the public takes their play to be real and then it actually happens for real 😂
@@gromitpesley Not the take with the broken light. There's an Inside No 9 commentary where they said it was an accident and Reece was miffed that they didn't use that take. He's right. That is the best one!
I just rewatched Sherlock and found Mark's writing, especially season four, to be wonderful. It's a pleasure to revisit TLoG. I'm glad to exist in a time to enjoy their comedy.
@@19george73 Amen! I was blessed enough to get to see them in Brighton for their most recent tour and got to meet them briefly at stage door. Dream come true! I respect all of them so much.
Because Reece went a bit too hard on the fat-shaming, and they felt it was both out of character and a bit too mean. If it had been for the purpose of the joke, it had been OK, but since it wasn't, it was just mean and that takes away from the comedy. Don't know if you've noticed, but they always walk a very fine balance between mean and funny, never crossing the line while constantly being on the verge of crossing it. I mean, one of the characters is in full on blackface while making fun of Romani stereotypes while still managing not to be racist. All of that is because the four of them knows exactly what to cut and what to keep.
morphman86 I didn’t think it was that bad, compared to most of the stuff on the show, at least if you draw the line with papa Lazarou you know you can ride up in that direction somewhat.
Professional until the end, it takes a lot to put them off! Ricky Gervais' outtakes last longer than the shows do haha. Love it when the clothes rail breaks and they stay in character!
Filming that wheelchair scene in London must have been a nightmare, imagine seeing Reece in public yelling at a man in a wheelchair hahahaha
"Thank you anyway. Thanks for your concern" - how sweet is Mark Gatiss :)

Mark gatiss is really sweet
1:45 at first I was confused why that was an outtake cause Reece didn’t even flinch when the light broke. Truly great actor.
I second that. Truly mesmerizing. None of them broke, until it was done and Mark was finally like What the FUCK just HAPPENED?!
He had but just a split second to react & I reckon he thought if I keep going this might be the best take

The scene where he breaks the light actually looks better than the final cut!
Time Waster I'm praying they'll make a comeback in the live shows!!!
I love how he barely skips a beat and just carries on with the scene. One of the greatest British comedy/horror actors of all time.
It was in the final cut. Just a different angle

That innocent chap trying to squeeze through in the wheelchair scene when Reece is arguing hahahaha
He's totally oblivious to what's going on. It's hilarious!
The three funniest minds in the world.
Four

just saying, when reece smashes the light is fucking hot
Fuckin hell Reece, the broken light scene was scary. Hot, but scary.
Masters at work, carrying on like that in character.
I know! What is it about Reece?? ❤️❤️❤️❤️
the debt collectors piece was amazing! reece was frightening!! haha
Seriously! It always impresses me that they all finish the take before reacting as well.
@@shainalang for me they cant do no wrong. The last installment was amazing

@@shainalang i wrote a 5ep sitcom, i sent it away but got no joy , if youd like to read it i would be happy to send you
Reece at the end ‘what wasn’t wrong’ hahahaha
Reece actually (accidentally) hit Steve with the belt in the scene where he was taking the money. It hurt but they carried on.
Absolutely love the debt-collectors, the broken light looked amazing, wonder why they didn't actually use that 🤔

All exceptional actors , fucking hell ..the broken light , they should have kept that, seriously dark ! (no pun intended)
Phwoooar reece
I love how that random old geezer just walks into the scene lol
A brilliant and hugely funny series. Love every second of it. Comedy absolutely at it’s very best !! Thanx for the gas. Rxx
Reece Shearsmith is terrifying
Steve said once, "He hurts me!" When saying who gets into their character too much. Lmao.
Oh Reece! Swoon!💕💓
Indeed
Nice to see Bill Murray turn up sporting a fetching cigarette and cap
Debt collectors was hilarious
'She's not out, I can smell fried onions'.
“Glen he’s bing horrible!” 😂 that delivery cracks me up
'Open this fucking door" 😂😂😂
Why didn't they use 3:05 ? It's amazing.
"I know from experience"
Best show ever!
Steve and reece, they're both so talented it's incredible, just how good they really are 🙌🙌🙌 reece makes a very attractive woman lol
@ 6:32 reece (one on the left) actually cut his knee with the clothes rack and only realised after the take
the fella who just walk on when they was filming ha
Mark Gatiss is the BEST!!! 02:32 almost fell off the chair but he kept acting until 03:25 (fucking hell!!)
Bill Murray at 04:25
I try to kinda fight it but Reece is bloody attractive. 🤣🤣
@@martinistakis1825 don't fight it! He is! ❤️
