You have a wonderful mentor Timmy Vaughn. He has never steered me wrong in my auditory journey. Thanks for sharing CanJam 2023. I can’t travel anymore so this is the next best thing.
@@mokisan I am one of the co-tuners of Legato but I don't work for 7HZ... In this Canjam, I helped them, as well as around the Linsoul booth (the Legato was one of the featured products this year).
Envy... heard rumors about Odin might not be there forever / or price not gonna stick there forever. (Not sure what they meant). But glad u are enjoying them. 😉
Nice review Jordan. CanJam Singapore used to occupy 2 levels of Pan Pacific hotel with talk shows, forums and all that but CORVID spoilt it all. But it’s great to see all the celebrities like you showing up in one place!
Not on the spot at Canjam. But tried it at local store. And yes. There is a difference between the new and old Diva. Felt it's a waste, Diva dont sound as it should, previously. 😭
Penon is very very weak at female vocal. Sounded not as lively and engaging. It only good at lowet frequency and lower mids, giving that very lush lower mids presentation. Diva on the other hand is lacking in lower mids and excel in upper mids like butterfly. But i doubt the Diva 2.0 now can say the same. It has lost the magic it used to had.
Thank you very, very much Jordan , wonderful stuff❗️❤️👍 I’ll check the Tiger, I have my eyes now on Symphonium Meteor, but also Aür Audio Neon pro. Actually I hoped you check out Aür Audio and also the new 64 audio U4s😆😁 Anyway Thank you very much…🙋♂️
I did try out the U4S.. I forgot to include in video.. it was the same demo unit I tried with A4s. Not my cup of tea, prefer A3t and U6t instead. But interesting story, they had a M12 apex module (in gold).. which do a lot of justice. Less bassy, but still there, and increased stage and air. Wowww
Interesting...it's great if changing the modul really works so it's just a matter of preference. Thanks Jordan, you have always this sunny, positive energy I subscribed to you after 2 seconds I first saw you on the screen 😆💯Anyway I am really tempted to get something different from my Oracle, B2, Oxygen...like the Symphonium Meteor...hmmm😁🙋♂️
Never tried for too long due to lots and lots of people are queueing for it. Just felt a tad dry and not as wide sounding as the Mest 2 which is great already.
@@jordanng5428 interesting find. I’m wondering why is sounded a bit dry as I would have assumed that the new BC Driver implemented in their $6000 IEM would have improved the sound quality considering I believe the old Piezoelectric BC Driver in the Mk2 made a difference. I just found a graph of the mk3 compared to the mk2 and it’s showing a nearly identical fr to the mk2 with a slight de-emphasis in the upper-mid to presence area and ever so slight boost to mid range. Especially around 4K, the dip is around 3db.
Not sure how it compare in term of sonic. But Mr Lee said Ares holds more detail (i never try ot verify this). But build wise, Conti is way more premium and looks better too. Feels solid when holds on hand too.
@@Abhi-wn7sw Jordan has the stacked set-up as source of Cayin N7 (R2R) x Cayin C9 (Quad Nu-tube) for all of his iem and if you pay closer attention in his video, you can see his huge stacked set-up at 15:04. He mentioned he get MEST MK2 as the iem is most suited for his stacked set-up, especially using the class A with the full-tube mode on the C9 (super analog, smooth and powerful sounding set-up he has).
Haha.. forgot to talk about it. Very very customizable.. can forsee it can last for decade. Easy pairing, very responsive button, come with screen too. Very portable and cute.
Yes. Empire Ears Raven (prototype) is very bassy, but in a good way. Symphonium Meteor has good slam too. Fir Audio nuclear bass line-up. Eclipse. New andromeda. Alot bassy stuff out there, forgot. Haha
Ya.. just realized no ones talk about it. Maybe the booth setup not very inviting? Booth like QDC, Linsoul, demonstrated everything on table ready for you to grab to try. Haha

Timmy is probably one of the nicest person you will ever met. Very down-to-earth.

The Tiger was one of the IEMs I enjoyed most at Canjam too. I almost bought it a few days later but ended up going with the Mest Mk2 instead.
Oh my... We have the same taste.. wowwww.. cuz i had the monarch mk2 too.. hahahha

what did old diva sound like?
@@Viewer13128 not sure izit the cable. But in term of outlook , feel and handling, i will stick with OG liquid link conti anytime.
Great video thanks for sharing but i was waiting for ur thoughts about crinacle project red presented at sam audio
I have the U12t and sold the MEST mk2. Can the Tiger offer anything different from the U12t?
The Tiger is somewhere in between, its exciting yet its musical (less cold compared to Mest2).
Sold the MEST mk2 as it didn't play all the genres well. Maybe I'll try the Tiger or Odin next
what is difference between penon vocals vs diva vocals? penon is known for vocals right?
