From the moment we boarded the National Geographic Explorer, we were plunged into a whirlwind of excitement, laughter, and a touch of seasickness. Traveling with my family, watching my children marvel at the world around them, is an experience unlike any other. This trip was filled with unforgettable moments, from exploring the ship with Manila and Cali to sharing in their amazement at the wildlife and landscapes we encountered. One of the most surreal experiences was when we spent a night in an igloo in the Arctic. Lying there, under the never-setting sun, surrounded by the stark beauty of the ice, was a moment of pure magic that I'll treasure forever.
The Falkland Islands greeted us with its rugged beauty and an abundance of wildlife that left us in awe. Observing Caracara and Albatross up close, and sharing these moments with my family, was truly special. Yet, it's the simple things that often leave the deepest imprint on our hearts. Like finding a playground remembered from our last visit, which somehow became the highlight for my kids amid the vast wilderness. It's these moments of joy and discovery through their eyes that make every trip worth it.

After seeing the video of you guys doing the national geographic cruise it has become a bucket list item for our homeschool family. Unfortunately, as a homeschool family we have to make some sacrifices to make it happen...one of which is a second income. Dorothy's face when dad did his "whispering" in the hotel turnstile. Only these kids would run around Antarctica in bare feet, they are truly amazing. The amount of stuff they learn and retain is wonderful.

Another great video! My dad used to shear sheep here in Texas and also in New Mexico, Colorado, the Dakotas, Utah & Wyoming. Also, Dad, I like your haircut but I loved your long hair. Hey Garrett, Jess, Dorothy, Manilla and Cali, I have been watching your videos every day for a while now. I decided to start from the very beginning and watch them in order. I do skip around to my favorites (Fiji Islands, Madagascar, etc.) once in awhile. You give me all kinds of inspiration!! I have a spinal cord injury so have been bed bound for awhile but have taken steps to get more mobile in the last year and hope to be able to go places when I can travel easier. Probably not the awesome, far away places but I'm hoping to make it to Oregon and California at the least. Anyway, I love you guys, love your kids who are the sweetest and kindest kids I've encountered since I started following the Crosby family many moons ago. I joined the friends and family channel the other day and I'm going to get Jess' book as soon as payday rolls around again.
