Good Morning from Hawaii!
This year, we decided to spend Christmas at home in Hawaii. Typically, I'm not one for a tropical Christmas (I'm a Colorado girl at heart!) but I was ready to spend some time at home after being on the road a lot this year.
We enjoyed our kid's school holiday program, some fun time with our friends and doing all of our family Christmas traditions. I'm forever grateful to Garrett for recording and editing these movies. We love to watch them together as a family all throughout the year.

I love how these kids aren’t scared to swim with wales, scuba dive with sharks and zip line over ravines, but get scared of pulling out their teeth. Y’all are super human 💪❤
you haven't felt tooth pain in awhile and it shows lol also the ocean is ginormous! shark attacks are about as common as getting struck by lightning if i remember correctly.
I love how your family gets thoughtful gifts and not going overboard as some families on UA-cam do. You are showing your kids the real meaning of Christmas. ❤
I started watching family fizz cause they were also a travel fam, and they always gave little thoughtful gifts for christmas, it was sooo wholesome. Although their kids are still super humble and grateful, I feel like now they over do it with the luxury and the parents don't seem as humble lol. I love how after years the bucket list family has not changed at all!
@jbmcldm1 yep they are awful now, I haven't watched them for ages now coz I csnt bare them especially the parents and the oldest girl the mother is encouraging the oldest and its not a good look when parents are trying their hardest to be kids best friends

I still enjoy them sometimes, the kids are super good kids and so grateful, But they did change sooo much omg. It's a testament to your parenting that all of your children are still children, even with all the places you have been and the amazing things you have done. Most kids in the US school system lose the magic that these kids still have LONG before your kids have. You are fiercely protective, yet you empower your children to strike a balance by teaching them the value of taking calculated risks and embracing growth through safe exploration. It is incredible. Keep doing what you are doing.
I love how excited Dorothy is for scrapbooking! The books will last forever and be more meaningful than digital! Yay!!!!
Dorothy you will have many hours of wonderful fun and memories with the scrap booking. If you don't know much about scrap booking, ask your mom or dad to take you to a scrap book store and they will show you. It won't take long at all before you are off and running on your own and creating your pages your way with what you learned. You have so many things to journal and scrap book even as young as you are!!!!!
Sooo many sweet, simple moments. Dorothy, Manilla, and Cali have the biggest hearts, I just love those kids. ❤️💙💚 I teared up watching Dorothy read Santa’s letter about his surprise gift, “just this year.” 🥹 25:42 . It’s bittersweet watching kids grow up. You’ve done such a great job instilling so many traditions and values in the kids that Christmas will always be full of Santa’s magic for them, no matter how old they are. ❤️

My father worked in a middle eastern country and eventually we had to got to boarding schools. I remember each month I would receive the National Geographic magazines and spend hours going through them. It helped with being homesick. My dad had a subscription too and we would both go through them and mark the pages and discuss the articles. You’re parents are a reflection on what great parents you both are.

It was so sweet when Manilla said "why us? We made _some_ mistakes." We all make mistakes, thats what makes us human and he is actually a step ahead of alot of people because he is aware of his mistakes.

It’s always so beautiful to see you the bucket list family ( live life through what’s provided for us ) to be connected with the ocean, to feel safe around animals, to love and appreciate family and each other, I think it’s storytelling to be able to showcase and embrace love/gift giving to one another and to see each year you guys do it is always amazing. To see everyone’s emotions light up knowing the other person has put thought and love into there gift is always beautiful to see 💛
I just know Dorthy,Manilla and Cali are going to create such magical, creative and storytelling scrap books throughout 2024 , filled with love, photos, memories, story’s and there present of the moment that they can look back on , Garrett’s is creating these films to guidance not only the audience of the world to feel connected/ explore, to learn and to try something new but to create these films for his family , so to see Dorthy start a journey creating cute scrap books along side Manilla and Cali is amazing 💛🌼

- this film captured the feeling of being home surrounded by people you love, watching your mum back and now having a memory of her cinnamon baking aroma through the kitchen, it captured the magic we great to bring live to our younger generation/kids
And lastly it showcased that everyday we learn, we see, we hear, we love and we express 💛🌼
I love how Cali not only recognised his mistakes but he waited, listened to garrets advise and got back up and carried on 🌟

Ya'll have the best kids. They did so well on the long flights. I loved the nativity program and the clips of the other programs and the way ya'll delivered the treats to everyone. I was so glad to see ya'll at church. Teaching your kids the real reason of Christmas. Ya'll are teaching your kids well. Ya'll are lucky to travel to so many places, but there is no place like home to spend Christmas with each other. Thanks for sharing your family Christmas with us. I teared up a few times. Loved how the kids all hugged each other including ya'll and your love for each other. Ya'll picked out the best presents ever.
