"War horse... War horse... What a strange beast you've become."

My favorite part of Spielberg's horse movie, titled "War Horse" (2011), is this little moment with the eponymous war horse - where the whole complex narrative concentrates into this simple, vivid center.
"War Horse... war horse... There he is: What a strange beast you've become."
The same happens to all of us.
We are born, in our own way, war horses. And through a process of life, we become strange, warped, beasts... but no matter what, we remain (inside) war horses...
