Got a lot respect for this guy. Well done.
No he's running cover for the party, 90s population and demographics, they squandered it.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY REBUILD LA. Sign up people!!! With or without insurance if your home was destroyed or damaged.
Greed will destroy America.
Greed Has destroyed America
People are disgusting anymore it's just sad that they think that they can take advantage of everybody when they're down
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY REBUILD LA. Sign up people!!! With or without insurance if your home was destroyed or damaged.
Well, we have a million plus residents who aren't supposed to be here taking up space in homes. But, no one wants to talk about that.
Something about him doesn't sit right.
What about squatters? You know…people who don’t pay rent and the state won’t kick them out…thoughts???
Landlords did same after Katrina.
Its not surprising..😮
Rent is not the only thing that has gone up. Insurance premiums, construction materials, car prices, you name it will go up. It's called Capitalism
it should also be said that it should be illegal and immoral how much the cost of rent has been raising in Los Angeles for studio apartments going for 2k plus with annual increases many tenants have had to forfeit their apartment homes that they’ve been renting because they can’t keep up because of
necessary greed .
I hate hearing all these crybaby politicians. If they want to help the displaced. How about if they do away with Airbnb homes. That are only available for weekend or short term tourist. How about putting fire displaced first.
Thanks Jason for speaking up.
How incredibly evil!
LA now needs to allow tiny houses ALL OVER THE COUNTY. Musk is making a small prefab house for about $12,000. BUILD THEM ALL OVER LA. that way average income people can afford a house.
Nimbys wont allow it
Tiny houses and homes made of containers would be great solution.
How about Elon Musk, the world's richest man should donate tiny homes. Why make him richer by buying them? They also sell tiny homes on amazon
Full of his hidden cameras
When you need to bring up Elon Musk, you’re already lost. The guy is a snake!
God bless everyone
Please...please...please let them talk without interrupting. Journalism 101. At least that's what I learned in journalism school at Ohio University from Terry Anderson. You'll miss out on a goldmine with the interruptions. I understand time is of the essence so make up for it someplace else.
He was cutting him off before he started advertising for his business. News should not be free advertising and this guy was trying to sneak in real estate promotion.
This should be illegal everywhere overpriced places to rent same with houses
Thank you for bringing this situation to light Jason
Greed land. That it’s Cali right now. This landlords are the worse. Don’t have heart. They seeing what it’s happening, and still with that Greed. Well dont complaint when God have you people next.
"Hey I got an idea, lets build a Smart City."
Why run the same footage over and over again, NBC, when there's tons of B roll of this tragedy?
Coastline Equity is a predatory property managment company in the LA area. If you talk to their tenants you will find out how much they charge every questionably legal penny they can.
Nice work Jason! Thank you. 🙏
Blame the greedy democrats that tax property owners to cater the immigrants and their personal interests that’s why California is the most expensive state in the country 😊
Luigi needs to be released to do a full sweep.
Its beyond evil to overcharge people who are desperate and already lost everything. The goverments do this all the time😢❤️🙏🏻✝️
Ill rent em a room for $700 bucks
Developers will have to buy the land huh? 🤔 Smart cities on their way????
The rich will pay and that’s the problem.
Good - call them out. Landlords should be responsible during a crisis.
No one and I mean NO ONE should take this predatory man’s advice to sell off to even more predatory developers. This is disastrous advice from a person up to his eyeballs in conflict of interest.
So is this being allowed? Why aren’t the law makers stopping this permanently? That’s the true crime
Thank you Jason.
Daily life in NYC smh
Its hard to find anything FOR RENT bc of how many foreigners they allowed in at one time to rhe US. It sucks for those here!
I know many people with triple families living together, living in camper trailers, or in their cars! THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE COVID, SINCE THE GROCERIES WENT UP, AND MOST OF ALL RENTAL,& SINCE BIDEN ALLOWED SO MANY PEOPLE INTO OUR COUNTRY AT ONE TIME!
Bless your heart!
Garbage in equals garbage out.
So many homeless people coast to coast across America 🇺🇸 Thank you very much GOD bless always.
Philadelphia USA 🇺🇸
Carolinas the people abandoned by FEMA (which they helped fund along with everyone else with their forced taxes) are living in frigid weather with just tents between them and the elements. Hawaiians left homeless and slowly forced into bankruptcy so rich developers can take the land. Aren't Blue politicians wonderful? It's why people keep voting for them every year for generations.
And when all those people are done with their “free” services, Oppenheim will circle back about the sale of the property.
Stop distracting from the real issue. Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom must resign.
If you go money to get a place in California, take that money and get outta there!
California has a homeless problem. California landlords have been ridiculously price gouging since COVID. Why out rage no
California has an illegals problem. Deport the illegals and it will free up some housing. Also has a red tape regulations problem. Allow ADUs and it will create more housing. Preferably homeowner housing where people can live the American Dream of having their own home and yards for kids and pets to play in.
Bless and protect this man 🙏🏽
Thank you Jason!
You’re a wonderful person💕
Sickening!
Thank you ❤
Price gouging is illegal in these kinds of scenarios which exist in California currently. Whether its jacking up food prices, utilities or rents. Unreal. 😮
I've got mad respect for Jason and everything he does.
Building homes in natural fire breaks is the cause of out of control burns
Making money grabs over other's suffering is crazy.
If I was selling my home in the area and instead of getting $1 million for my property, I could raise my price to $3 million and still sell it due to the shortage and catastrophe, I’d want to sell it for that $3 million.
It’s supply and demand.
The Democrat government should not be dictating how much money individuals and businesses can generate in the wake of a disaster.
But the people can and they can also launch campaigns against price gougers and make it so no one ever does business with them again...also business
@@ericdwhitmorec if I am a homeowner and I’m selling my home and there happen to be a wild fire that destroyed all the other homes, I really don’t care if anyone launches a campaign against me after I sell my home.
Maybe they should launch a campaign against the person who paid all that money for my own. If that person wasn’t willing to pay the money, then there would be no “problem” at all.
Jason you are to be commended! From Canada and sending love. I turned on your Netflix show again to watch you and the girls ❤. It is absolutely devastating what is happening there right now. Be safe.
David Ackman posted that people who couldn't get insured in CA to sell. Despicable.
Sue the Democrats!!!! Then flee!! Who wants to stay when they've destroyed and sabotaged the place. They should be charged with genocidal displacement!!!!
@melissahouse3488 Ackman isn't a Democrat who wants to profit from the loss.
,15-20k a month for rent lord i would be homeless
How can they be allowed to do this?
Important & Powerful Conversation! I am a ex realestate broker of 17 years and I can say this guy feels like the real deal. On another note I was a buyers agent mainly because of sellers attitude towards unfair pricing. It was always the same story I want the most I can get yes but what are you willing to ensure you give because the buyer deserves the same value.
thank you for confirming, Jason, that the whole plan was to force people to sell, so that developers can step in..for 2028
yes, that's what I heard too....
This would make it harder for California to host the Olympics in 2028. Why would they want to make it harder for themselves?
💯 %
@@EscapingTheRabbitHole-vg8ud The Olympics are a money drain and America and the West for that matter are close to tipping into economic disaster what between the plans of Democrats and Rinos. Remember when people were aghast when the National Debt hit $1Trillion? It rose about $1T every year since then... until Biden TOOK office and then it suddenly skyrocketed in growth by trillions more each year. Even now he is giving our money away to foreign countries before Trump can take office.
Where has been We The People's outcry of this blatant yearly move to bankrupt us into Third-World Nation status? Near silence.
Maybe we need this guy in office in California
no we dont. real estate and used car dealers are the most dishonest people in this country. he is just getting free advertising.
It’s happening all over the country. These landlords must be stopped. 🤮
I saw this is every time a hurricane blew through Florida when I lived there. Price gauging generators is big business. Human greed has no limits.
This guy seems like a good chap. Thank you for helping these folks out.
This is the part i was sincerely worried about are they going to charge people who just lost their homes?
Should be illegal for RE agents to make % just flat fee on sales.
i agree. they do the same amount of work on every sale regardless of the selling price.
