My guess for either 3rd or final boss is Typhon, the most terrible moster from Greek mythology and father of most of the most powerful monsters, including Cerberus. He fought Zeus for supremacy of the world and is described as being colossal, having snakes for limbs, wings, and a screaming fire-breathing head. In one of the myths he was said to been buried in Tartarus, so maybe now that Chronos is in control of the underworld he released him into Olympus.
My theory is Typhon for the final boss, and Talos being the boss of the third biome between him and Eris. Talos was an automaton created by Hephaestus (also newly introduced in Hades 2) as a guardian of Crete, and in Hades 1 one of the aspects of the Fists was his. There's also dialogue mentioning automatons on the surface, so if those are in the third biome, it'd fit his theme. Depending on how sentient he is, Chronos could have either convinced him that it's better to work as a guardian for him than whatever Hepheastus had him doing after his original purpose on Crete was complete OR maybe he was still chill with Hephaestus and Chronos simply forcibly reprogrammed him, catching Olympus off guard.
I did a run today where I chose "Get a previous boon from the previous run" reward from Echo that gave me *Zues' legendary. Using this with Hera's new cast meant I had a 20% chance of killing all new waves of the encounters. Pretty nuts *Wrote Poseidon accidentally
I actually hope for a battle with Ares as the second boss on the Surface. Something like a trial to see if you are useful after all. And move Eris up the mountain. Or we need to cross the jungle first and the end of act 3 is the beginning of Mount Olympus
Either him or Athena (or why not Dio, the 3 of them in alternance to make it juicy, like we had the Furies sisters in alternance in Hades 1), since they're both at the forefront of Olympus and could easily mistake Mel for an enemy trying to breach into Olympus (or simply wanting to test her, like Hecate).
I think the +cast damage on Arachne's dress doesn't increase the damage on Tidal Ring for the same reason +special damage doesn't increase the damage on Wave Flourish: the splash is considered a separate effect, like Blitz or Scorch. The boon itself says "Splash Damage" not cast damage.
@@robocrop5862 It still does on Geyser Blast (or whatever it's called now, the tier 2 boon that explodes on omega cast), because that boon does specifically say "cast damage."
Personally, I like the idea of the Fates being the Final Boss, even though Mel is probably going to save them. It seems to me like the Fates have largely been nothing, but a restriction to the story of Hades so I would say that it seems to be leading to an ending of defeating Fate (maybe over and over and over again) and freeing the gods and humanity from their power. Perhaps Chronos is seeking to use them and, since he can't be truly dealt with, the Fates ask Mel to take away their power so Chronos can't use it?
I think dress didn't work because tidal ring did SPLASH damage, which is indicated in the description of the boon and also apparent by the blue damage number color. Not saying the dress shouldn't work on splash, I think it should but oh well
right but almost all casts say this, bolt damage, blast damage, freeze damage, etc. does it also not work for those? then it should rly say OMEGA cast damage otherwise it’s prolly unintended
Just tried a cousin of this build (King tide and all) + the Poshephaistos duo (+500/Omega Cast every 6 seconds) with Charon's axe and an epic Lethal Snare at 19+ crit in the cast, and I confirm ! It's a beast of a build ! Chronos melted in front of me.
The idea floating around of Typhon being the 3rd boss is really interesting and a pretty solid bet I think I and some other pool considered Ares being the final boss but looking back it doesn’t make much sense so what I’m HOPING is that Porphyrion, king of the Giants who once fought the Gods for domain over the world in a war called the Gigantomachy, is the final boss on Olympus
The most obvious change with Cerberus is that he often fill almost entire screen with his circles. Before the name of the game was "find safe spot unless you want to save time", not it's "do a little dance or time your dodges again".
I’m wondering if we’ll always get offered all the gods or if it will be split, so that some gods only appear on the surface and others only in the underworld 🧐
Poseidon cast says your cast ALSO hits enemies with a splash. And then it calls it splash damage. I think it's intended for that to be separate to cast damage. Definitely confusing though.
That would be the craziest plot twist, but Ares being Ares... Ares: It's business, and war is what I am. Hence, I shall let it wage on, and on. And you cousin, stay out of it, or I shall show you the true horror of war😠 Mel: Okay... cousin Ares. One, you're really an ass for doing this to your own family. Second, I'm a princess of the underworld, being messed by both strife, retribution, and been beating time itself. So three, believe me. It's you who need to stay out of me.
I could swear in one of Aphrodite's boon dialogues she talks about the war on Olympus and that ''even Ares would rather the conflict happen elsewhere''
I have a feeling that you will meet the fates after defeating chronos just like how you met Persephone in hades 1. It is obvious they will still do something there since there is no reason for us to die yet everytime when you reach the house.
Just like solar flare(prominence ring) I feel like posidons cast should be secondary. Maybe give him a second curse like "drowned"which does d.o.t on enemies who has blood, so not like the clock work things or bouldy. Or tidal wave where the tide comes back in the cast drags them in and inflicts flood or drowned
19:34 Sir from zero Glory, after you used 1 Tidal Ring into Geyser Spout that both hit, you get Max Glory instantly to charge the next Omega Special. If that isn't worth it, I don't know what is~
Btw at 16:30 ish, we know the fates have been found by Chronos and that is why we have the list and Moros. They’re just being stubborn with Chronos and not weaving in his favour yet, eventually they will though so that’s why Mel gets the prophecy of ‘save us, please’ Edit: this is why Chaos also helps us so much, they knew where the fates were and was tricked by Chronos into telling him where, only figuring this out it after we tell them about the situation with the fates. So they want revenge for being tricked and for him imprisoning the few people Chaos had a connection with like Zag and Nyx
On the topic of overworld, I feel like we'll get a climb to Olympus and then Olympus itself. I also think that maybe the next boss could be Pan? Most of the aspects are from characters we have met but we haven't met Pan, just a hutch tho.
they already kinda spoil who the final boss is. It is Ignarus father. In one of dialogues, Ignarus says that his father is gone missing and he is making the Daelatus hammers. There is probably another boss between him and Ignarus father. Wait till update comes out.
looks like only 12 fear, of which 6 (1+2+3) are the 3 levels of vow of desperation for timer and 6 (3+3) are the 2 levels of vow of fury for extra enemy speed? unless it's 3 levels of desperation, 1 level of fury, and 3 levels of commotion for extra enemies
@@majtravien4381 nah I think you're right. He mentioned somewhere else that he *did* leave Jury Summons on and thought the run was bad, I just guessed it was this one but I think that's wrong haha
From memory, the Devs have said that on full release we will be able to get boons from all the gods in the previous game, so we're likely to get Athena, Ares and Dionysus. As for gods apart from those three, I think it would be unlikely simply due to the amount of gods the game would already have.
Yes. It got nerfed. Path of star used to give you infinity +5 level ups on third region. Now it is only first one. Kinda sucks. I don't understand why they nerfed hexes. weren't people whining about them being too weak and not worth it. Seems like they're even less worth it now.
