I really like Forget Me Not. The role-playing possibilities of waking up not knowing who anyone is, especially in an established group, are quite good. It doesn't take much of a stretch to restore memories of campaign characters post-scenario. To each their own, as always. ;) I find the portrait art to range from bizarre to excellent. Now that I've become a student of Call of Cthulhu, I appreciate this collection even more. I agree that there is a natural comparison to Delta Green. It is really a "whose who" of CoC writers. It deserved the ENnie. Since this book's release, it appears that Stygian Fox has really over-extended. They produce great work, but with five pending projects, four of which are overdue, I hope they recognize the need to fulfill obligations quickly. We all want them to succeed. But they also have PR catch up to do. Great job, Bud!
Well, the scenario even says it takes it's inspiration from Delta Green! I stand by what I said - Forget me not is the weakest scenario in the context of viewing these as potential Delta Green scenarios. Hopefully Stygian Fox will pick up a few sales from this review - I really want them to succeed, but they have massively overstretched themselves
I only ever hear of Ladybug and Forget me nots being played. I do like the dreamlands so i might have a look at that one. I don't use modern often and i'm only just teasing my server into it.
Fantastic Dimensions in the context of how I approached it - ie. potential Delta Green scenarios- it is the weakest link. Also, why create an adventure where you play pre-existing characters and then forget to include them? The name is very ironic in this sense.
I mean, it could work as an intro to a phenomenon x campaign, but that would need a bit of modification. Still, I agree the lack of pregens is baffling
I have mixed feelings about Forget me Not. The premise seemed interesting, what with eihorts labryinth encompassing the whole world, though it's obvious that the author did not read "Before the storm" the Short story that Eihort "appears in". I plan on cannibalizing forget me not for parts for my own treatment of it.
I was already in the process of doing this when the whole Innsmouth '86 debacle started. To my ears the sound is far better on the new one - the original is breathy and non-equalised - as well as the video now being 1080p/60fps too.

Wouldn't *any* iteration of modern Christianity be a cult/sect by this standard? Considering it's a few thousand years since this whole Christianity thing started, it'd be quite foolish to assume that it hasn't changed form since it's inception. Curious pondering in your post, regardless. It's quite rare you see this side reflected in the CoC world!
@@Esanssi10 like your reply, more over there were already many divergent sects of christianity in the first 300 years before an official bible was collaborated by Constantine. Sectarianism started basically as soon as apostles started preaching, since the apostles themselves didn't agree.

I ran 3 of the scenarios with a Phenomen-X crew and that worked wonderfully!

Interested to see what you think... this is one of my favourite CoC scenario books!
This is definitely added to list of books to get. 5 scenarios in a book is a must.
Sorry. Ment 6 scenarios.

Forget Me Not the weakest link? Man, that's one of my favourite one shot scenarios ever! I agree though that some pregens would have been nice.
I like it too, but it's still easily the weakest adventure in the group.

Why the need for a redux review? The sound was fine in the first one. Is it just because of the Innsmouth '86 debacle?
