I love opals and rubies are my birth stone. This makes the choice harder, but I would leave all the jewelery as it was originally. I think the history and value of things that are reworked is lost in the process. I would have both opal and ruby tiaras as they both are lovely against the skin.
I used to work in a jewellery shop in a major tourist spot in Sydney Australia that specialised in opals. Never heard of a curse or anything. Sold heaps to tourists especially white and black.
I really like the rubies in the Oriental Circlet Tiara, and the Ruby brooch. Prince Albert really did an amazing job creating jewelry. I’m not a fan of opals. I had 2 rings stones that cracked.
Opals are the perfect stone for a Bride 👰♀ 😍 ✨️ they represent purity and cleanliness 🎉Prince Albert 🤴 💜 and Queen 👸 Victoria 🎉 had exquisite taste 👌 ❤️ they understood the true meaning of this awesome jewel ❤🎉❤
The late Queen Elizabeht during her coronation tour received from the government of South Australia a very large opal and diamond necklace and matching earrings. She only work them once, during the tour., shortly after receiving them. It would appear that opals were not to her taste although she did wear an opal brooch gifted by Australian ex servicemen on appropriate occasions such as Commonwealth Day. I understood that opals were considered unlucky because of their changeability, or in more old fashioned language, their inconstancy, hence making them unsuitable as a gift to a partner
My Mother’s birthstone was Opal. She had some beautiful opal jewelry, but refused to let me wear and gave hers to other family members with the same birthstone. Prince Albert died at 42 years old. Did he really stand up to the myth of opals?
Opals are great. I think they're best on people who are pure of heart. Maybe that's why people think they're cursed. They're meant to be worn by children and saints.
I love opals. My husband gave me opal and diamonds ring, which belonged to his grandmother and we have happy, 47 years old marriage. 😊Greeyi
I love Opals as well as Diamonds, Pearls, and Emeralds!
I would have left the opals in their original settings, so beautiful. I have several pieces of jewelry, plus some uncut stones. I love them
Opals are my favorite gems, love them❤
It's my birthstone so YES I love opals. All kinds. :D
Thank you for your work on this. The videos are always interesting and lovely to see
I think opals and moonstones are more beautiful than any other gems. ❤

Beautiful vídeo
Thank you
I love bright opals, but they can crack.
They’re very soft and need lubrication, oil to bring out the brightness

I think opals can be very beautiful, especially the black opals out of Australia.

Opale sind wunderschöne Steine❤❤❤
i would love Queen Camila to find the opals and put them back into the circlete
The Oriental Circlet would be striking on Princess Catherine. It is such a graceful piece.
This is my birth stone
Mine too. So beautiful.
All robbed.
The Oriental Circlet is one of my favorite tiaras.
