This is amazing! You make the whole canyon experience look so smooth, even the more challenging parts like the tight sections. The way you captured everything is just perfect. How long did it take you to complete the full canyon? Truly impressive work😀
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it as much as we did. We do try and capture it as we experience it, it was more challenging in places, our video light refused to turn up to full power, you never saw the cameraman disappear up to mid thing in our version of quicksand in a few places. As for time, filming takes time, and sometimes reshoots, we took 10.5 hours car to car. A normal trip is probably 8hours or so.
I remember the quicksand quite well someone in the group thought he would jump over a log onto nice soft sand and ended up waist deep in it Yeah I made that mistake with the false exit as it looked like a very clear track going up WIth the hole abseil we used the slings that were around the chockstone but I think just made the start more awkward since the rope wasn't loaded till your literally in the air
A few times, we thought a foot placing was safe....right up until we sank to our knees! 😆 We think the false exit has fooled quite a few people, and that track is becoming more worn, which could become very confusing for some. It's a great canyon and so beautiful in sections.
That is a very cool canyon to explore. Keep on trekking.
Very much so, and we will.
What an incredible journey, marvellous video, thank you.
This is one of the more popular canyons for a reason, it is a fun-packed day with plenty of variety.
Thank you for a great video
Thanks so much, glad you liked it.
A very impressive canyon it’s definitely another world down there. 🥾✅ thanks for bringing it to us. 🧗♂️
It's one of the more impressive canyons we have done. You can see why it's one of the more popular canyons on the Plateau
This looks amazing. Will add to the list. Thank you
A pretty long day, but well worth it.
Great canyon, remember lots of quick sand
It's a fabulous canyon! The cameraman managed to find quote a few spots of quicksand so I knew where not to tread!
Looks awesome. I have never heard of this one! Not sure how I would cope with those tight squeezes!
It is a fabulous canyon, just have to think thin in a few places! Some truly breathtaking parts and so worth doing!
Amazing, looks like a big day but worth it
Was a long day, especially with filming, so worth it though.
@ i can imagine
Long slog back out with wet gear, just mildly undulating hills on the way back so it was not too bad really.
Wow looks chilllllly!!
You get used to it, eventually, usually by the time you get back to the car and want to go again.
