BTW I did the Floating Coliseum the other night. The very last lynel didn't seem to be affected by the puffshrooms nor Dazzlefruit or Muddlebuds. I threw everything I had at him and it finally came down to just slugging it out for the win with bombs and arrows. The one thing I didn't try was ascension and I usually kill my lynels from above. I don't know why I didn't think to ascend inside one of those cubbys and then kill the lynel from above like I normally do. Every time you leave the coliseum to remove the gloom that last lynel is resuited back in armor. Then a sadist developer from Nintendo added another armored lynel outside near the coliseum. Great info every time I visit.
Death from above is my favorite tactic. If all else fails, I'll throw down 4 bundles of wood and set them on fire to get the lift to get up in the air.
Quick tip for removing armor on lynels, if you fuse lynel hoofs to an arrow it melts armor much faster than bomb arrows. With a multi shot bow and lynel hoofs it only takes two shots to remove the armor
I feel like I'm listening to talk radio when I watch your videos. It's comforting, informative, and it's a hell of a lot better than those loud channels with some obnoxious "morning zoo" type host shouting at me with constant jump cuts and sound effects and annoying music

I've been playing TOTK for a year. I am a relatively new gamer and with previous games I used easy mode. TOTK doesn't give me that option--you do! OMG I wish I had found you when I started. I am so bad at combat, but with your videos I feel like I can go on the attack!

Its 7 months past and your vid still helps, grateful for yt cc lol killed my first lynel and it ends up to be a white maned Lynel. Did it the old fashioned way, parrying and mounting, took me 20 tries but it made me good at mounting these suckers 😂. My first Legend of Zelda game EVER! Enjoying it so much 🥰 I guess i need a radiant armor 🙂

If you want to conserve bombs, you can also use any blunt weapon. A silver lynel mace horn fused with a royal broadsword will take only one flurry rush to break the armor and will automatically stun when the armor breaks. Ironically, armored lynels are the easier ones to take down. Amazing video as always!
My thanks and my compliments, this is one of the few videos that worked exactly as you clearly stated. I made two hammers, one for spare because I’m not that good of a gamer, so after the Lynel I used one to one-shot a corrupted Hinox. 🎉
This evening I finally got my majora's mask, using most of the techniques in this video and minimal cheese, job done though thanks to you and your channel ❤
Extra tip... for Royal Guard claymore... you can get a pristine version (higher durability and higher atk) in the depth near the Gerudo mines.... pristine royal guard claymore has higher atk than the decayed version. Pristine Royal Guard Claymore is 39 atk base. Pristine weapons requirement is to break the decayed version first. Afterwards they can be found in the depth being held by ghost statue. Royal Guard's weapons are at 2 specific locations.... Gerudo mines is one, the one I go to. You can save before the ghost render so that when you approach and the ghost apears with a non royal guard claymore.. just reset.

You are very welcome, I hope it helps… Don’t use that weapon on a Gleeok if you have broken it, it will break in one hit, the only reason it doesn’t break is because it takes no durability loss when you are mounted on a Lynel 😉I only use a weapon like this just for the Lynels

I was wondering, in terms of quicker and easier ways to defeat big enemies, what’s a better combination, radiant set level 2 with mighty simmered bananas or a fully maxed out fierce deity armor set with the simmered banana? And if you know, what are the factors that are multiplied in either way?
I killed them similar to this like 3-5 times, but then got super bored of it, so i fight them normally now with a sword of the seven with a silver lynel saber horn, I dont use the breaking point claymore trick anymore, far more fun to kill them normally.

why doe everyone need methods?! Even without all of this. They are easy, just takes times. Just a tip, the lynels have the most forgiving parry timer, for some reason I miss all my parrys expect for lynels...
Eh.. decayed weapons are useless even with a modifier. Please use pristine weapons found in the depths on Shadow Statues. Once you've broken the decayed version, the following blood moon. You'll be able to find the perfect version. 😅😮🎉

I recently learned that lynel hooves fused to arrows are great at busting armor -- better than bomb flowers
Don't forget. If you cook during a blood moon you'll get an upgraded meal each time. Good video.

You can also find endura carrots by all the pink trees scattered around. The ones where Satori shows up when you drop fruit for him.

Yes, you can wear the barbarian however, you won’t get the bone weapon proficiency, it may take a few more hits 😉

Bombs work good for removing armor, but I believe cooking pots work better
Why use the moduga jaw bone over the gibdo? Doesnt the Gibdo have a higher attach power?
The gibdo unfortunately, will break if you try to do this it’s durability is not so good😉
But it works great on arrows

does evil spirit armor work the same as radient armor or is the radient armor better when it comes to bone prof?
I believe they work the same the difference is you have to upgrade the radiant armor at least twice before you can get it

Yes, however, it’s not a bug… your handheld weapons will take zero damage as long as you are mounted😉

The Evil Spirit armor also gives you bone weapon prof., just an FYI for everybody 🫡
