He’s clearly too selfish for that. Kids also don’t want Star Trek memorabilia, he does. He has a classic case where as a child you couldn’t get what you wanted, then, as an adult, you get everything you want with a vengeance and hoard it like crazy because you’re afraid mummy will take it and it makes you feel safe… In order to help children he’d have to not be one.
My ex husband is a collector; he has over a thousand gardening magazines dating back from the 1950's. I've lived on my own for 9 years and enjoy living in a neat clean clutter free home. I also love cleaning, and like using a lot of bleach which is cheap and efficient.
BUT CASSETTE RECYCLING, YOU MONSTER!! >:[ Damn her MS and degenerative brain stress from all my twattery…who will think of the children? (Not mine tho, they can sleep outside.)
I know a lady who visited her out of state grandaughter in the flat the grandaughter shares with two others. The OCD gran re-arranged the whole kitchen to her liking and when the poor flatmates got up in the morning to go to work they didn't know where their coffee, tea, utensils, lunch-packing materials, anything was. Ran them late for work. The house was nice and clean. The grandmother just can't go anywhere without compulsively 'fixing things up' the way she likes them- even things that aren't hers.

Right. I don’t think we can imagine HOW controlling he was but even being around ~slightly persnickety neat freaks is not easy-walking on egg shells for 12 years is hell…living up to impossible standards is not fair for a human being. She was so kind and sweet tho. ♥️
I’m very disappointment in Paul. He’s very selfish. His wife has an ailment and their kids have to live in a motor home outside of their home because of his hoard. They don’t want to deal with his “collections” after he passes. I feel like that’s super heartless of him to leave them with the burden of all that stuff to deal with while they’re trying to heal from the passing of their father. 😒😒
Hayley cleans the toilet 4 times a day but the wall pipes right beside it have layers of dust and dirt on them. Also, I wonder when she has time to be present with her children. But I know it’s not her fault due to her OCD. Wishing her the very best
Compulsions rarely make sense. Your brain may choose to focus on one thing and not another. One person may flip their lock 100 times but barely wash their hands. Or do 100 ab and arm exercises while doing nothing for legs. It's not logical. There are some people with cleaning ocd who keep pets as well.
Amusingly, it was only for that one clip whereby she was outside. If you look at the rest of the clips, the shoes are the same style, but they're not Loubs
Paul is a very selfish person he only cares about what he wants honestly he has no respect at all for his wife or anyone else seriously his wife needs to leave him in his mess an save her sanity and take care of herself
@@kellylupton6136 It was difficult at first but I've lived on my own for nine years and I love it, being able to do what I want without being told what to do.

I feel bad for Shareen in the beginning. It takes a lot of bravery to ask for help to begin with, and Hayleys unmanaged ocd is making this task even more embarrassing then it had to be. Shes being judged for her house, her cat, and even possibly being poisoned by Hayley mixing chemicals. Her house isnt that horrible and wouldnt be that hard of a task for most cleaners (a big job, but not impossible or something to complain about.) I hope Shareen talking to Hayley and giving her her perspectives helped Hayley realize her ocd really isnt managed well at all. Its ok to have joy in cleaning, but extreme germphobia can be debilitating and feeding the ocd in this way is unsustainable. However if she does keep help cleaning peoples homes in can be therapeutic in a positive way since she will have to be exposed to things that are dirtier then her home will ever get. Pauls situation is also not being handled correctly, hoarding needs to be addressed with a therapist and the way Penny is attempting to deal with it is likely to make him just fill the house right back up again. No dig on penny though, she is sweet, just this is not the best way to handle this and it shows with him shutting down and running away.
Agree I actually think the cleaners would have been better suited if they switched them. Both were lovely tho. (Shouldn’t have paired her with a cat + flat, bit mean.)
It doesn't bring me any joy to watch hoarders...I have a close family member that struggles with it and it is absolutely impossible to help if they aren't truly ready to change. It's super frustrating to deal with such people.
I think it is great how they did the garden sale, bc her partner cared more about the environment (an excuse to keep stuff) than he cared about her. She should have left him, bc her health was more important than that toxic relationship.
as a muslim, I respect Hayley for refusing to come into shireen's prayer room. And to be fair even Shireen should not be praying there. the first important step of praying is finding someplace clean to do it on. Glad Hayley help cleaned it out but I hope Shireen also uses a praying rug from now on. Easily washable.
Yes, the young woman who is so obsessive about cleaning products and wears a lot of make up in those high heels(I don’t see how you can work in those things?), you need to research cleaning products, dear!!! You inhale those fumes, and they are very toxic!!! and you can burn your lungs, etc. I am 75 years old and I have COPD… You can look that up on the Internet… It has to do with the lungs and breathing… my ex-husband, I remember was cleaning a wall in a large store with muriatic acid, and he burned his lungs!!! And we have to breathe the air in around us with all these vehicles, etc.. I think you may catch my drift here, yes?! This was a really good video, all of you!!! I am a bit of a hoarder from years past, but I have really come along way!! Thank you very much to any and all here!!!! ❤
I think she is one of those people who loves/is addicted to certain chemical smells. Like gasoline. The thing about that is, usually people warn you “You can’t breathe it in every day, it’s bad for you!”
I used to be an obsessive compulsive cleaner but I managed to break free of that unhealthy neurosis. It was effecting my relationships with my family and causing major anxiety. I feel so free now. My house is clean, but a mess won't trigger me. Children make messes, it's part of the learning process. I have to let them
I'm amazed at how people can be so cleanliness minded in their homes and yet wear their shoes inside. Just think of all the ick your shoes touch each day, and that touches your floors and carpets.
Heyleys OCD is relatable to me, but luckily I'm not too too freaked out by germs... I have exposed myself too and can handle touching them, but knowing pets have sat on certain surfaces definitely irks me 😂😂
🌸 Shereen is suffering from depression She needs to try clean diet and exercise then she will keep home tidy again if left untreated the flat will return to dump in a month or two. She must take pride in her home and invite people around as this will keep her on her toes
I got hooked on this show summer before senior year of HS…forgot about it throughout most of college and then started watching it again in my final days of senior year of college a couple months ago. Such a great show
I think I do too; When I go anywhere, I'm always looking for dust on the blinds, skirting boards and dirty ceiling fans to see how clean they are. If a cafe doesn't look clean enough, I won't eat in it.
OCD is the inability to resist compulsions to do certain behaviours or actions, often in strict order. There's often fear that something bad will happen if you don't., Doesn't have to be cleaning although that's common
The first house even though it was very cluttered it didn’t look dirty and extremely ugly, which is a surprise because you mostly see extreme vile houses on here.
That’s why he said he is a “collector” not a hoarder… the only reason it looks like that, is because of the poor wife… she tries her best to not let it get filthy like other homes
i remember seeing a post on fb where a kid did a whole presentation about it for school, and did all sorts of "tests" it was great haha. I think if the cats got medium to long hair, the fur covers it when they sit, hairless cat or short hair would be a different story though! @@foodpuff8582

i do always wish there was more understanding for the home owners regarding their mental health, especially shereen. i understand the whole "wow how did it get like this!" bit i do wish there was more of an acknowledgment about WHY it gets like that
Hayley needs to clean those filthy pipes by her toilet. I can’t believe she’s obsessing over some things and just leaves the pipes caked in dust and bodily fluids.
I really relate with 44 yr old Michael with those tv stands as i used to have one😂 it’s impossible to get ever have one clean from dust for a day. He’s purposely making himself suffer with one of those haha
Penny should start a cleaning company and monetize her "illness". They call it "illness", I call it talent. She's damn talented, look at that house, so clean.
OCD is an illness, there is nothing positive about it, it is awful to live with. I have OCD myself and you saying that is incredibly hurtful. And btw, monetizing it and performing those compulsions is just going to make the disorder worse. OCD almost lead me into a mental hospital because I wanted to hurt myself, I wash my hands till they crack and bleed. Kids also don’t want Star Trek memorabilia, he does. He has a classic case where as a child you couldn’t get what you wanted, then, as an adult, you get everything you want with a vengeance and hoard it like crazy because you’re afraid mummy will take it and it makes you feel safe…
In order to help children he’d have to not be one.
My ex husband is a collector; he has over a thousand gardening magazines dating back from the 1950's. I've lived on my own for 9 years and enjoy living in a neat clean clutter free home. I also love cleaning, and like using a lot of bleach which is cheap and efficient.
When Paul basically said that he doesn't care about his wife's health...!
BUT CASSETTE RECYCLING, YOU MONSTER!! >:[ Damn her MS and degenerative brain stress from all my twattery…who will think of the children? (Not mine tho, they can sleep outside.)
Before I start a clean in one room, I watch these videos for motivation. It always gives me the energy to get busy.
21:25 my man literally pulled out the "The needs of the many..." card. Absolutely stone cold savage. Feel sorry for his wife to just be brushed off that easily by the man she spent the better part of her life with, christ.
That man doesn't care about the environment. This strange woman he doesn't know is making him get rid of what he sees as valuable, prized possessions so he is destroying the tapes so no-one else can have them or ever hear them.. This man seems dangerously malicious.
I agree. If he cared so much about the environment, he would not have all that clutter inside or outside.
I love people that loves to clean. So neat and tidy. Wish I had that skill.
OCD is a horrible thing to live with
I would like to say to Shireen that life is beautiful. Dont let your past experiences dictate your present. You deserve to look after yourself and the your environment is very important. May Allah grant you ease. Ameen.
It’s beautiful the way they learn from each other, and there is healing in helping each other. I hope they all continue to improve… I hope Paul is getting help.
As a Muslim woman, I hope Shireen will get stronger with her faith and d now allow that divorce to destroy her life. I know it’s very hard, sometimes it can feel like you are all alone.
Please stay strong and have balance.
All the best to those who want to improve their lives for better. 🥺
I really felt for her. I hope she and her cat are having a great life.
I hope she is much better
Right. I don’t think we can imagine HOW controlling he was but even being around ~slightly persnickety neat freaks is not easy-walking on egg shells for 12 years is hell…living up to impossible standards is not fair for a human being. She was so kind and sweet tho. ♥️
Jesus is the Way
I’m very disappointment in Paul. 😒😒
Paul’s a hoarder and blocks every effort to help his wife. Sad man 😢
Omg I love penny, she's the most charismatic lady.
While Paul is recycling little screws in cassete cases, Hailey is tossing several plastic bottles and rubber gloves each day 😩
Very true ☹️
And she is talking care about her family, and he doesn't give a f about his ill wife. So who is real bad guy here?
@@aliya6158so aggressive,I 100% agree but calm down
I don’t get why she never bought a giant jug of bleach?? Why buy 10 a week. Just buy a vat at that point…
Hayley cleans the toilet 4 times a day but the wall pipes right beside it have layers of dust and dirt on them. Also, I wonder when she has time to be present with her children. But I know it’s not her fault due to her OCD. Wishing her the very best
i was going to say this - cleaning in heels but the floor is dusty (under the cupboards are compacted!) and has specs of dirt on it too. hmm.
I think it’s amazing she takes pride in her home, and also shares her gift with others what a beautiful soul she is
Is Hailey cleaning while wearing Louboutin shoes? Really Hailey! Really 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Amusingly, it was only for that one clip whereby she was outside. If you look at the rest of the clips, the shoes are the same style, but they're not Loubs
Shereen and Hayley are funny together
Wish you the best Shereen....
Paul is a very selfish person he only cares about what he wants honestly he has no respect at all for his wife or anyone else seriously his wife needs to leave him in his mess an save her sanity and take care of herself
People like Paul never change; I left my husband because of his selfishness and uncaring attitude.
@@gillianbrookwell1678 I'm sorry you had to go through that ❤️
@@kellylupton6136 It was difficult at first but I've lived on my own for nine years and I love it, being able to do what I want without being told what to do.
@@gillianbrookwell1678 that is absolutely awesome I'm really happy for you you deserve to have a happy peaceful life 💓
He is manipulating with his tactics to say he wants to leave things for his “children”… legacy my foot. His kids are alive and does he care about their feelings? He does not even consider them or his wife.
I feel so bad for Elaine, what a waste of space Paul is >:(
BRO IS VACUUMING THE WHOLE ASS BED LMAO he is introducing more germs than actually cleaning
Yes. That was gross
The dog seems to enjoy the vacuuming. Usually dogs are scared vacuume cleaners. .
Penny sounds like a gem with her box of goodies. This friend would be welcome in my home ❤
I used to clean every single second of my waking day. I now have MS and can't clean as much as I once did. The MS may have been a small blessing.
Hayley has come so far over the past few years. She is doing great. She has her own YT channel, and is on FB
I wish I had a friend like Penny!!!
Cleaning with heels 👠 = my idol!
I think it is great how they did the garden sale, bc her partner cared more about the environment (an excuse to keep stuff) than he cared about her. She should have left him, bc her health was more important than that toxic relationship.
Hayley and Shereen are so funny to watch lol i think they were vibing a little.
Lawd I know this man is not serious about toys being an insurance plan
I'd think that they would be stored better, to keep them in good condition.
You know they always are.
The cleaners are so friendly and the hoarders are all such nice personalitys
Hayley worries me but damn she’s making cleaning look beautiful will looking bomb at the same time! 😂❤
Its been years since rhis aired and Paul's wife's condition has surely worsened. Since he is a selfish narcissist, wonder how she is doing
as a muslim, I respect Hayley for refusing to come into shireen's prayer room. And to be fair even Shireen should not be praying there. the first important step of praying is finding someplace clean to do it on. Glad Hayley help cleaned it out but I hope Shireen also uses a praying rug from now on. Easily washable.
"That cat, his bumhole will be on the surfaces. 100%"
OMG, I can't stop laughing 😂
Sad there’s not a balance here but I would rather be clean than a messy hoarder. And good for Penny for cleaning others homes!
"Cuz my wife is one person and the environment is billions of people." Says it all 21:33
Brutal. I hope she divorced him.
A collector proudly displays their things. He is a hoarder and a shopping addict
1:38 is so funny the way she’s cleaning in the background as she’s saying that
Right HAHAHAH
I used to be an obsessive compulsive cleaner but I managed to break free of that unhealthy neurosis. It was effecting my relationships with my family and causing major anxiety. I feel so free now. My house is clean, but a mess won't trigger me. Children make messes, it's part of the learning process. I have to let them
I love Haley she's magnificent.
I'm amazed at how people can be so cleanliness minded in their homes and yet wear their shoes inside. Just think of all the ick your shoes touch each day, and that touches your floors and carpets.
Heyleys OCD is relatable to me, but luckily I'm not too too freaked out by germs... I have exposed myself too and can handle touching them, but knowing pets have sat on certain surfaces definitely irks me 😂😂
I like collecting old cameras, but i keep them neatly displayed on glass shelves. Keeping them on the floor or everywhere is just chaotic.😊
9:49 but she walks around the house in shoes outside inside! And she mixes bleach and disinfectant dear gosh! She gonna get serious ill!😮
the dust thing in the light is so relatable
Penny is so sweet!
Hayley too! And I'm so impressed by her heels
I want a whole series of Hayley and Shereen doing things together!
🌸 Shereen is suffering from depression
She needs to try clean diet and exercise then she will keep home tidy again if left untreated the flat will return to dump in a month or two. She must take pride in her home and invite people around as this will keep her on her toes
I agree, she needs to stop isolating herself, it will motivate her to clean home when people come round.
Omg I forgot about this show. Pure genius.
I got hooked on this show summer before senior year of HS…forgot about it throughout most of college and then started watching it again in my final days of senior year of college a couple months ago. Such a great show
Hayley cleaning the toilets 5 times a day….completely misses the dirty pipes …. “I have OCD” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think I do too; When I go anywhere, I'm always looking for dust on the blinds, skirting boards and dirty ceiling fans to see how clean they are. If a cafe doesn't look clean enough, I won't eat in it.
Ocd isn't about cleanliness....do ur research its the obsessiveness of it
Because it's about routines and rituals more than it is cleanliness 🙄🤡
OCD is the inability to resist compulsions to do certain behaviours or actions, often in strict order. There's often fear that something bad will happen if you don't., Doesn't have to be cleaning although that's common
Yeah I noticed that ! Bizarre
I need a friend like this in my life!
Not in the UK Hoarders show…they’re never gross, just untidy.
Hayley and Shereen, I love watching them they are so different ❤
This girl freaking out about the cats bumhole touching things 😂😂 it literally doesn't hahahah
I would think it does when it’s sitting down. I can tell when my dog’s is touching things but don’t care tbh as I clean the floor regularly
i remember seeing a post on fb where a kid did a whole presentation about it for school, and did all sorts of "tests" it was great haha. I think if the cats got medium to long hair, the fur covers it when they sit, hairless cat or short hair would be a different story though! @@foodpuff8582
It does. I remember seeing brown bum hole prints on my window sill from my cat 😖
It does though 😂
It does.
Animals belong outside.
Oh, Hayley's come a long way since that episode. Good for her...😊
Penny and Hayley are my UA-cam heroes minus the bleach Hayley as I also suffer OCD cleaning and organizing. Paul is selfish considering his wife Elaine is sick. Shame on you Paul! = Narcarcisstic Human. Shereen so glad your flat is Nice and clean. What a great video. Kindest thoughts from Australia x
I don't like that Hayley used bleach so much, especially outside of the kitchen/toilet but she did an amazing job, as did the lady helping out Paul
Great job 👏
I feel bad for Paul’s wife. It’s frustrating to help people who refuse it but need it.
Hayley missed to clean the water pipes 9:30, there are lots of dust 😂
Went back and took a look. Yes, those pipes looked dusty.
Right they look nasty
Penny should wuit her job and become a full time cleaner, I feel so sorry for Elaine with MS having to live with Pauls Hoarding.
i am so happy for Shereen and Hayley is an angel
I need her as my friend so my house can get clean 😂
Was thinking the same😅
Same 😂😂
i do always wish there was more understanding for the home owners regarding their mental health, especially shereen. i understand the whole "wow how did it get like this!" bit i do wish there was more of an acknowledgment about WHY it gets like that
😅 Penny is always welcome to come over friend.
This was so heartwarming to watch!
Hayley needs to clean those filthy pipes by her toilet. I can’t believe she’s obsessing over some things and just leaves the pipes caked in dust and bodily fluids.
Omg I saw that too!!
Hailey is a genuine star, absolutely transformed the flat
It’s so pretty now!
my mouth was open wide when paul said that his wife is one woman and the enviroment is millions.... dude
I really relate with 44 yr old Michael with those tv stands as i used to have one😂 it’s impossible to get ever have one clean from dust for a day. He’s purposely making himself suffer with one of those haha
I love Haley, but it always amuses I seeing the pipes at the side of the loo covered in grime.
Hayley is such a character , brilliant ❤
Penny should start a cleaning company and monetize her "illness".
They call it "illness", I call it talent. She's damn talented, look at that house, so clean.
OCD is an illness, there is nothing positive about it, it is awful to live with. I have OCD myself and you saying that is incredibly hurtful. And btw, monetizing it and performing those compulsions is just going to make the disorder worse. OCD almost lead me into a mental hospital because I wanted to hurt myself, I wash my hands till they crack and bleed. It's not this cute, quirky little personality trait you seem to be treating it as.
“Pops his socks” 😂
I have never heard that expression for someone dying. Awesome.😅
Michael using a vacuum on the bed is wild 💀
