They must not remember when the Lions went to overtime, back in the day when overtime was basically sudden death whoever scored first one so the coin toss literally determine the winner of the game and there was that one time I don't know if it was Marty morning or who the heck it was but they won the coin toss and they deferred and gave the ball to the other team LOL that was one of the worst botches in NFL history. Back in those days whenever you won the coin toss and overtime you always got the ball because if you kick a field goal you win the game. They sense changed the rules to wear both teams get a chance if they kick field goals but back then you get the coin toss you get the ball all you need to do is get in the field goal range to win the game and the stupid Lions coach literally gave the ball to the other team in overtime LOL that was dumb
Qb looks at play clock. HC looks at game clock. I mean, the bears did just get away with snapping the ball like a second or two after the clock hit 0 and no flags were tossed. I mean… clock management with this team seems to be nonexistent.

All those injuries and hard core football they play is gonna bite the lions in the end in the playoffs cuz elite healthy caliber teams are gonna stomp all over the lions
Yup. I was thinking the same thing. Ever since losing to the Patriots, Eberflus looks blank. I don’t think he even wants to be there anymore. He’s mentally gone.
Eberflus turns into Eberfroze in situations like this. Now it makes sense why he elected to settle for a long FG against the Packers rather than trying to get more yards with a fresh set of downs and 40 seconds left, he’s scared shitless when game’s tight with less than a minute remaining. He looks like his controller got disconnected or he was unplugged from the Matrix or something at end of one score games.
Even after that timeout, they came back almost with 3 seconds left on playclock but then another penalty anyways. Eberflus not only has terrible game management but also terrible coaching up players to stay focused in crunch time.
Caleb Williams is also at fault here, but Matt Eberflus deserves more of the blame. Your rookie quarterback was getting sacked so many times. Too much pressure for Caleb at that moment, just call the timeout man.
This is the QB'S fault, he let the clock run down and didn't tell the team to hurry up. Coach was expecting the qb to hurry up 3rd down and then use the timeout on 4th down if needed.
Eberflus was showing these tendencies last year as well. He goes brain dead at the most crucial times. He has cost the Bears more losses than any other single member of Bears Staff. Not a Genius Move Chicago. You guys had this one in the Jaws.
how do you feel about that receiver jogging through his route with his hands up? that was a clear touchdown if he followed through but then again the coach probably would have kept his job
With 32 seconds left, they should have been able to run a play to get a few yards and THEN use the TO. No one except Romo seems to have considered that this would have been the right approach. Romo faults Eberflus for not calling a TO when the clock got to 10 and Williams seemed clueless-NOT for failing to call a TO right after the sack. Romo calls that a “gray area,” whereas almost everyone else seems to think calling a TO there was obvious. Romo is correct. It wasn’t.
It’s situational awareness that Eberflus has none of. Sure 30 seconds is plenty of time to run a play and then call the timeout, but Williams just got sacked when BOTH tackles completely whiffed on their blocks. He was probably discombobulated and still dissecting what happened there. Eberflus as the head coach HAS to identify that his rookie QB was in distress, things were not unfolding as he and Williams had scripted coming out of their second TO, and go off script and call their last TO right after the sack. Williams clearly showed his inexperience when he didn’t quickly shake off that sack, get lined up to catch the Lions D off guard, or at the minimum call a TO himself, but his coach needs to help him a little. That’s what a head coach is suppose to do for an inexperienced rookie. Instead Eberflus looked more discombobulated than Williams after that sack and just stood there holding his clipboard like a dummy. It looked like he took that sack instead of Williams.
@@fixindan3592i dont think the tsckles whiffed on their blocks, it was a planned draw play (QB runs up the middle), Romo even says it, but I think bc the DT blew up the guard in front of Caleb, he hesitated, and the DEs surrounded him. The tackles were prob supposed to let the DEs go wide bc QB shouldnt be back there.
@@tBeNz0 I respect Romo’s football acumen, but I’m not buying that. The interior held up just fine, Williams was back peddling out of a shotgun, and both OTs showed no signs of blocking downfield; Borom was just standing there doing nothing like his controller was disconnected.
Watching the Bears win a game is like trying to save a sinking boat by drilling more holes. Nothing will ever change until there is NEW OWNERSHIP! McCaskey’s just don’t care.
I swear this is the craziest bears thing to do man the coach needs to go or something this is beyond insane I'm speechless 😂😂😮💨 I can't believe this happened
Nobody wants to acknowledge that the lions were playing with only 5 starters on defense. That was the story of the game. The bears didn't suddenly become an offensive juggernaut. The lions ran out of players the lions offense was hardly on the field in the second half. They still managed to rush for 50 second half yards. The Bears didn't stifle the lions run game.
Oh for sure, team just doesn’t make me feel good tho. That was one of the worst teams in the NfL, and it was a close game because Det let it be. Can’t get away with that in the playoffs.
@@tippystirlmfao. They beat the brakes off the lions last year too. They got lucky today that Matt eberflus coached a classic eberflus game. Enjoy your early Christmas gift. The bears should be 9-3 easily if not 10-2 with a real coach.
Coach should have called the time out. I know that with the Dolphins McDaniel calls almost all of the time outs near the end of the half/game. It would be very appropriate for a HC to be making those time out calls for a rookie QB. In any case, the buck stops with the coach and Eberflus will be in the unemployment line at the end of the season and likely never to get another HC gig.
He and or the coach. I don’t wanna hear the rookie thing, he’s been playing football his whole life, you know what down and distance and time are. Those aren’t new concepts at the nfl level. He should have ran a play or called a timeout I agree. Having said that, he just looks, to me, like he’s really confused on a per play situation and now I think he’s at the point where the overcoaching is making him second guess his instincts.
Any other franchise would have fired their head coach last week or even 2 weeks ago. But not the bears, this is a special franchise and we'll hold on to him for another year or so.
The worry for the lions in the 2nd half and going forward is injuries. They lost 3 more starters, none of whom where the starters out of camp. So backups or backups and more backups in some cases.
I love how the second guy with the kind of curly hair, says that they should’ve called the timeout, run a play to get in a field goal range and spiked the ball. That would’ve been fourth down. Game over lol.
Instead of going for 2 points Instead of one was stupid. The bears could have won it with a field goal. This is one of the few times the bears had offense and defense.
You mean winning with the FG they never even got to kick? There was nothing wrong with the 2-pt attempt. Had they converted that they could’ve tied the game up with another TD followed by another 2-pt conversion and not have to rely on Eberflus who turns into Eberfroze every time in tight games with under a minute left.
@fixindan3592 they had a chance with 30 seconds left to kick a field goal! Right when the bears got the pass interference call. They could have kicked a field goal!
@@searches04 that’s hindsight speak. Remember Flus settled for a 48-yard FG with a fresh set of downs and 40 seconds left against Packers instead of trying to get more yards and make the FG easier? What happened to that 48-yarder? Blocked. So I have no problem with them trying to get more yards yesterday and make it easier for their iffy kicker who has missed 40 some odd yard FG in back to back weeks. Anyway, my point was there was no guarantee that Bears will be able to score another TD and get the ball back for another potential game winning drive with under a quarter left. This is the Bears we’re talking about here who’s allergic to offense. So if they convert on the 2-pt, they could tie it without another TD followed by 2-pt without relying on getting the ball back on a final do-or-die drive. If they missed on that 2-pt, they will need that final possession just like they would’ve needed it had they kicked the extra point. So going for 2 was absolutely the right decision.
@fixindan3592 but when the lions did the pass interference. The bears could have tried a run instead of the pass. And maybe got 5 or 10 yards then called a time out. And kick the field goal. So technically its a bunch of shuda kouda woulda. But nothing happened.
@@searches04 that’s almost exactly what happened against the Packers. Bears ran on 1st and 10 with 35 seconds left at Packers 30, got 2 yards out of that, ran the clock down to 3 seconds, took their last timeout, and missed the FG. Flus was roundly criticized for taking the ball out of Caleb’s hands when he was rolling and not being aggressive like the Vikings were against them the following week in overtime. You want a repeat of that?
That would set a new precedence. They’ve never fired a HC midseason before. Either ownership is demanding what they’re getting from this guy, or they simply don’t give a crap. There’s no other way to look at it. I dint give 2 squats if they’ve never fired a HC midseason or not. They rarely had reason to. This right here is enough to break players careers. It’s enough for fans to lose faith in the ownership of the team. Yet.. the ownership seems to continually not care if fans have faith in them or not. They have a family business to run. Fans keep the money rolling into the family. They keep giving promises of hope and change while delivering the same old losing garbage. This team come close to winning nearly every week. It feels quite intentional that they have these flurries of give a damn attitude, but before that had none at all. Why is it this team seems to only be allowed to move the ball at will and score like mad in the second half of games? Uberfloss said before going in before the half, “this will be a completely different team in the second half.” Not trying to put conspiracy theories out there… mostly because they’re hard to prove, or disprove,,, but really? Based on what we saw of this team just in the preseason… we know they’re capable of A LOT MORE than they’ve put out there in the regular season. The starters barely played. So. Where does this lead us? Where do minds go at this point? WTF is going on with this team? The DC was excused last season… the OC this season. We looking at a rolling list of coaches from thus point on? Is that the future?
@@bk6555 you’re right.. but it also doesn’t mean your job is safe in the future either. Thats why it’s called a precedence. Sometimes coaches and players need to be reminded who they work for. A first firing of a coach midseason tells coaches this team is no longer your vacation haven. You either come here to win, or you might suffer the same consequence.
@@stormysyndrome7043 No one's job is ever safe, even if the Bears haven't done it before. No one evet gets hired and goes "At least they'll never fire me midseason!", because they're the owners, they can do whatever they want. It's time that the McCaskeys act like it too.
We all collectively said “time out, one shot, field goal…what are you doing, time out, time out, damn wtf was that. . .” As a victim of Mike McCarthy time clock mismanagement, y’all coach was outta his depth
Everyone is going to blame the coaches and yes, they certainly could have and should have call a timeout. BUT BUT BUT Caleb is in the NFL now and the "franchise" QB and he definitely should have and could have called the timeout too or even snapped the ball sooner. Caleb isn't all that and all the hype was just that. HYPE
Sure its the head coach's error, but Caleb could've hurried a little and still had the chance to kick a long field goal had he snapped the ball 5 seconds earlier...What was he thinking? Stupid slow snap cost them the opportunity to kick the tying field goal regardless of coaches not calling a timeout. I can't imagine how many bears fans at home screaming at their TV's at Caleb to snap the damn ball at 11 or 10 seconds, not 6. Then throw a long pass assuring time would run out. A QB in pop warner would have not made that mistake.
At the end of the day, he is a rookie QB and our coach is in charge of managing the game clock. Would it be nice Caleb could manage a hurry up with getting everyone set, listening to what’s be communicated to him through his hamlet, and manage the game clock? Yeah it would, but he’s a rookie. Flus fucked this one up. It’s all on him. He should have called TO right after the sack. Bears could have ran a play, and either spiked the ball or ran the FG unit out on the field depending on how the 3rd down pass ended up
@@kots2121 - yeah, both were proper calls. You cannot tackle by pulling the neck opening of the shoulder pads (i.e. horse tackle) and the OL cannot put his hands in the face of the defender (and the OL certainly cannot push the defenders helmet off of his head). BTW: I think the PI call was fine.
As a born and raised lions fan, who’s unfortunately lived in downtown Chicago for my doctorate the last 5 years, and watching this game with all bears fans. I can confidently say every lions fan was just as baffled as all the bears fans. Makes zero sense I was dying laughing
I was texting about the sack and getting ready for the last couple of plays. I was in disbelief to look up and see the clock running out and the ball going short of the goal line.
Why are people just deliberately ignoring that the Lions whole squad is banged up? Of course the Bears fought a close fight. If the Lions team would've been healthy the Lions wouldve blown the Bears out.
@MrTheonemrb Lies you tell. Half the starters on our Lions Defense is on I.R so please don't lie and act like the Bears have an equal amount of their starters out. I can't even respect the conversation if you gonna lie like that. We got Hutchinson out, Alex Anzelone out, Pascal out, Taylor Decker out, Malcom Rondriquez out, Marcus Davenport out, our Punt returner out, Carlton Davis out and that's just some of our players that's out. All of the Bears starters were out there. If we just had Hutchinson, Marcus Davenport, Alex Anzelone, and Carlton Davis back Caleb Williams wouldn't have scored shht. My point is it wouldve been a slaughter had we had just a few of our people back.
Eberflus is going to take all the blame, but none of these commentators have the stones to call out Caleb for his failure in this. If the Bears had a quarterback who could handle the big moments and that doesn't freeze from 15 seconds to 6 seconds on the clock, they would have had time for one more play, call a timeout, then try a field goal. That was the smart way to play it, because all kinds of things are likely to go wrong when you try to get your field goal team on with a running clock.
Can't expect a rookie to know all the nuances of running an NFL offense in just 12 games, with all the scenarios that can happen. He messed up, but he has a get-out-of-jail card for the season because he's still a rookie QB with a really bad coaching staff.
Can we stop excusing Caleb Williams for being a rookie? That's some basic Madden level time management. I get Eberflus probably needed to do something, and he deserves a firing if he gets one. But Caleb Williams is getting paid millions of dollars for something any of us would've recognized in a regular video game we play for fun
No it was on Eberflus he has the ability to call a timeout. He should know what is going on. As soon as he realized his QB was zoning out at 15 seconds he should have been signaling time out but apparently he was zoning out too. The look of utter cluelessness on his face was telling.
@ because he's a rookie ig he deserves a pass, especially as the clock continued to run, but strategically it was the right move. Again, ur out if FG range in 3rd & long, if you don't get the first ur basically screwed. The boundaries would have been extremely guarded. It was tough all around. The play before also just can't happen.
@ i just rewatched it. The fact they had to waste thier second timeout before the 2nd down play with 43 seconds on a stopped clock was completely retarded. Happened because the team wasn't even set until 3 seconds left on the game clock. Thats shit that needs to be hanmered in training camp, so obviously eberflus is an awful head coach. Next there was the stupid ass hands to the face, backing them up from the 25 to the 35, negating a great 15 yard completion that keenan ran out of bounds, that was also completely unacceptable, and that lineman holds alot of blame, the bears would have been 9 yards out of winning the damn game. Then of course was the fatal sack the online just allowed completely unimpeaded. Just an absolutely eggregious ending, never seen something like that
The Lions did not fall apart like the “same old Lions.” As Romo said, they had A LOT of defensive injuries - and the Bears didn’t start moving the ball until the Lions had a lot of backups in the game.
I know the loses are painful for us Bears fans, but the silver lining is that we FINALLY have a franchise quarterback. He has 14 touchdowns passes and just 5 interceptions, and ZERO in the last 9 games. All we need is a good head coach and to fix the offense line. This will be a very attractive job when it comes available hopefully in the next few days.
He’s alright, but stuff like taking ridiculous sacks game after game after game in crucial spots (yes, not all on him I know) is worrying considering his tendency to hold onto the ball. I like him more than I’ve liked any other QB we have ever had, just don’t know at this point if those are things that he is trying to work on fixing or not as those areas don’t seem to have any improvement. And I’m not talking about overall, because #’s say he has gotten better, but when it matters most in crunch time he’s only made mistakes so far. Still way too early to tell with him, but if those things get cleaned up, he’s gonna be something special.
Rome shouldn’t have given up on that route…. That was a TD throw….. it was the throw…. All he had to do was finish the route and track the ball…. Would’ve been epic….
Bro he woulda been tackled if he caught that where it was, still 12 yards away from the end zone with a defender on his back? Dumb play call, even worse time management from coaching.
They can't have the Lions keep racking up wins. Vegas is already set to lose a fortune if we win the Super Bowl and money will keep pouring in on the Lions with each consecutive victory. They REALLY tried to steal this one.
Detroit lost two defensive line men during the game while also missing one of their starting corners and the other starting corner didn't start and was in and out of the game because he is banged up. Yet we still won. Say it was Chicago coaching being ass at the end but we still won. FTB. One Pride!
Not much to celebrate Lions. Too many Injuries, defense depth is suspect, Goff can be had. Still winners win and tehy did. Everyone knew the Bears would lose. It was not clear what they would do to themselves - this one was a new level of incompetence. But hey, he came cheap as a coach.

If your last play before a field goal attempt is going to be a long pass to the end zone doorway, there is no need to keep the time out. That last play is all the more reason why the time out should have been called at the sack. And I'm a Detroit Lion's fan, who was totally perplexed that the game ended this way. Nice stop by the Detroit D, & by the Chicago Bears coach & quarterback Williams, to give Detroit our 1st Thanksgiving win in a long time
It was a gift from the refs for the Bears to even be in that position. The game was won by the Lions before that HORRIBLE and unconscionable “pass interference” on Vildor. No one would agree with that flag. Not one person. Lions won. Refs gave the game to the Bears for free and they didnt want it apparently.
From the beginning of the first half, and that last quarter - that’s where Chicago fell short. You have to know where you’re at during the last few seconds and give your kicker a chance.
This why nobody wants to play for this trash bears organization, everyone and the organization is against you if your a rookie QB1 , the fans are like screaming toddlers whenever you play bad and the organization doesn’t help your struggles. Same thing happened with fields is whats happening with Williams, fans calling him a bust just because he couldn’t play well in the first half proves the mentality and brainpower of the fanbase and organization
Not to mention a rare fumble from Gibbs, very rare, and then William’s silly penalty that halted a great drive in Bear’s territory. Game should have been out of reach early, but Credit to Bear’s “D” who did a good job. Remember they almost beat the Vikings and Packers recently. They’re a better team than their record shows.
I almost expected Matt Eberflus to go full on Tim Walz when asked about the disastrous endgame clock management and tell the world that he is sometimes a knucklehead.
Which ref was on the Lions team then, the one who called ripping a dudes helmet off not a penalty. They sense changed the rules to wear both teams get a chance if they kick field goals but back then you get the coin toss you get the ball all you need to do is get in the field goal range to win the game and the stupid Lions coach literally gave the ball to the other team in overtime LOL that was dumb

We're going to try and use it against the 49ers. Bear Down
So he calls a timeout with the play clock running down. But doesn't call a timeout with the game clock running out. 😂
Even after that timeout, they came back almost with 3 seconds left on playclock but then another penalty anyways. Eberflus not only has terrible game management but also terrible coaching up players to stay focused in crunch time.
For people new to the Bears: head coaches being bad at situational football is our recent legacy.
Key word *_SITUATIONAL_* that is what the GOAT Bill Belichick always talked about doing when the Patriots practiced
The Bears don't run 2 minute drills then?🤔
Totally agree Bear Down
Caleb Williams is also at fault here, but Matt Eberflus deserves more of the blame. Your rookie quarterback was getting sacked so many times. Too much pressure for Caleb at that moment, just call the timeout man.
He's a rookie. What the coaching did was inexcusable.
He''s a rookie and a damn good one too...we are definitely fringe playoff team but it all starts with having a great HC and we don't !!
Calling an audible on the last play with time running out is kind of confusing by Caleb
If caleb wasn't a rookie I would agree.
@Ivypoison23 It wasn't an audible. He was giving the play formation and protection. It's the u timely sacks that get me.
They left that timeout for next week.
Smart.
This is the QB'S fault, he let the clock run down and didn't tell the team to hurry up. Coach was expecting the qb to hurry up 3rd down and then use the timeout on 4th down if needed.
Eberflus face at 0:20 told it all. he didn't even know the time was up

Eberflus was showing these tendencies last year as well. He goes brain dead at the most crucial times. He has cost the Bears more losses than any other single member of Bears Staff. Not a Genius Move Chicago. You guys had this one in the Jaws.
The double doing kicker still takes top spot in that department
how do you feel about that receiver jogging through his route with his hands up? that was a clear touchdown if he followed through but then again the coach probably would have kept his job

Why didn't Caleb call a timeout. 😮
Because he is incompetent. End of story.
@@dondajulah4168 No. Be a leader. Forget what you are hearing in your helmet. Call timeout!
He’s young. He doesn’t process quickly enough, coach should have called it.
Literally, three quarters of our defense has been backups of the backups’ backups’.
Vegas called and said, “the over cannot hit, end the game now”
Chicago has to fire Eberflus immediately.

This guy said -wow 😂
He also told press that he was not allowed to call timeout
Can we stop excusing Caleb Williams for being a rookie? That's some basic Madden level time management. I get Eberflus probably needed to do something, and he deserves a firing if he gets one. But Caleb Williams is getting paid millions of dollars for something any of us would've recognized in a regular video game we play for fun
This was on williams. IT WAS 3rd DOWN. You cant down it if you dont get 26 yards. 100% on williams
Just an absolutely eggregious ending, never seen something like that
It says a lot about the Lions that they have won ten in a row. But their defense is getting pretty banged up.
2:43. Dude says QB shoulda completed a 7-8 yard pass and then spiked the ball. It was something like third and 26.
I caught that too. Shame on us for listening to these ignorant people. The speaker with such authority
Not a bad win with all the injuries on defense. Guys stepped up when needed. They have a good practice squad
The Lions did not fall apart like the “same old Lions.” As Romo said, they had A LOT of defensive injuries - and the Bears didn’t start moving the ball until the Lions had a lot of backups in the game.
The Gibbs fumble was a heartbreaker that keep the Lions from ending this early.
Is it just me or did the wr not even try to catch the ball? 🤔

People are real quick to forget that the Lions were rolling out 3rd and 4th stringers at like 7 different positions on defense.
Rome shouldn’t have given up on that route…. That was a TD throw….. it was the throw…. All he had to do was finish the route and track the ball…. Would’ve been epic….
I agree that it did appear like he gave up. It seemed like everyonewas in a state of confusion on that play.
The ball didn’t even reach the end zone but maybe
And by giving up on it the defender could have been called for interference.
Bro he woulda been tackled if he caught that where it was, still 12 yards away from the end zone with a defender on his back? Dumb play call, even worse time management from coaching.
@@tippystir the ball landed on the three yard line and the receiver was behind the defender. Would clearly have been a TD if connection was made.
We didn't watch football at noon yesterday - we watched the Bears!
Caleb had a dude open on the sidelines for like 7 yards and never even looked at him.
You can’t be serious
Finally, for the first time in team history, the Chicago Bears have fired a head coach in season. Matt Eberflus has been FIRED!
The Bears played a great game and wasted it at the end. That's on the coach can't blame a rookie quarterback for that.
Eberflus' ineptitude in choking on late game losing decisions should become a standard sports' catch-phrase as in "the coach did an Eberflus".
They gave the bears a bogus PI call on that drive
And the personal foul with the ref not calling the face mask….#13
Exactly, because game was fixed, NFL and CBS wanted OT.
Yea and that horse collar tackle penalty SMH
Enjoy the "Show" ⚡️🦉. Rigged
They can't have the Lions keep racking up wins. Vegas is already set to lose a fortune if we win the Super Bowl and money will keep pouring in on the Lions with each consecutive victory. They REALLY tried to steal this one.
If I were the owner, I would have empty boxes stacked in Matt's office with a note attached to it. "Pack up. Your done."
GB is gonna feast next week...might not take the North unless the Bills help
FTB? You know the protocol homie, it's FTP. Just for that I hope the pack feasts on your defense next week just like we did today.
Bears got a lot of injuries too keep up the excuses y'all barely beat the bears and honestly the refs help the lions win
@@thomasgarrett7990 The refs LITERALLY tried to hand the game to the Bears. They shouldnt have even had a chance on that last play because the Lions won when they stopped them on 4th down and a random EGREGIOUS p.i. was miraculously thrown. Having a couple “injuries too” is not the same has 3/4 of your defense being 5th - 6th string players. Hutch, Davenport, Cominsky, Peko, Anzalone, Barnes, Carlton Davis, Rakestraw, Mosely, Melifonwu. Thats ELEVEN guys that would have been starting over the backups, backup’s backups’ in this defense today AND THEN Smith, Rodrigo, and Vildor came out of the game injured…we had guys who were deep depth on the PRACTICE SQUAD playing in this game. Several 5th-6th string guys. That is insane and goes to show how good we are to be surviving through it.
If your last play before a field goal attempt is going to be a long pass to the end zone doorway, there is no need to keep the time out. That last play is all the more reason why the time out should have been called at the sack. And I'm a Detroit Lion's fan, who was totally perplexed that the game ended this way. Nice stop by the Detroit D, & by the Chicago Bears coach & quarterback Williams, to give Detroit our 1st Thanksgiving win in a long time
Thats not a win its a damn lay down gift
It was a gift from the refs for the Bears to even be in that position. The game was won by the Lions before that HORRIBLE and unconscionable “pass interference” on Vildor. No one would agree with that flag. Not one person. Lions won. Refs gave the game to the Bears for free and they didnt want it apparently.
Matt Eberflus definitely lost the game on purpose nothing else makes any sense .
There's a nifty saying in Italian which translates to: "They got lost in a glass of water."
The refs tried to hand the game to the bears with that 4th and 14 PI call.
That was a terrible call.
Bullshit did you watch the game smh
so was the call against the bears with the horse collar the refs were brutal on both sides atrocious
Yeah, I didnt see anything on that play and CBS wasnt really interested in showing it or discussing it.
Well, on the final play, the refs could have called another borderline PI call on the Lions, ironically.
There were plays earlier in the game that were BS calls too....
My uncle was shouting at the television CALL THE TIMEOUT
9 defensive starters out. Only reason bears had a chance
Lions got lucky again. They somehow managed to walk away with a win last year too. They suck against the Bears no matter who is in.
@jakknutz lucky? Bears had 50 yards of offense the first half. Lmao
I almost expected Matt Eberflus to go full on Tim Walz when asked about the disastrous endgame clock management and tell the world that he is sometimes a knucklehead.
The ref's tried to cheat the Lion's anyway. I call it karma..the Chicago coach's just shit their paints at end..its was too much pressure to think
Which ref was on the Lions team then, the one who called ripping a dudes helmet off not a penalty. You coulda just said the bears sucked and it woulda been fine, but the ref argument is so silly when everyone watching this game saw the unevenness and still point to one play and say the lions were almost cheated lol.
@@tippystir That completely bogus PI call to hand them the game was egregious. You complaining about a tackle when Keenan’s helmet came off was not even a penalty you clown.
you think bears coach purposely threw this game as an F you to the bears organization, since he knows hes getting fired anyways? what else could explain this?
The old lions would not have won that game. Despite the refs still hating us, we were able to overcome and hang on. Though it was mostly luck and horrible coaching by Chicago, the old lions wouldn't have had this game go our way. Finally, we're not the ones making stupid mistakes and costing the team a potential victory due to incompetence
The refs were equally bad for both teams imo
Lions looked horrible, Vikings are coming for you
