Fan for life. First heard via vinyl in Green Bay, Wi. in 60's. Then LIVE at McCabe's in Santa Monica, then heard again at McCabe's, look forward to wherever I hear Tom again. 'HOW CAN DANCE LIKE THAT' another fun song. My favorite is NO REGRETS.
You've still got it, Tom. 'Love that style. -- Give the video producer a medal! At first I thought I was going to be "cheated" out of seeing the man-and-guitar-at-mic movement I'd expected, but, almost immediately, I liked what I was seeing much more. I've wondered when music videos were going to come into their own, and seize the stage by being less movie-like and more lyrical, so to speak. This one is mighty fine invention. Congrats. The creative gifts you share continue to grow. // Moving on// You're particularly good-looking in the stills, yet they change with enough fluidity for a viewer, such as I, to get over "the thrill," and segue into the mood of it all. I like the scrolling of the lyrics. I love the now-older-guy vocal nuances. The upbeat tempo plays in interesting juxtaposition to the tone. The rather dark images play opposite the hot light of the stage. I imagine the boys and the dancing ... I, too, remember my youth. Good work ... again
Lonesome down here in Texas, come get that car that broke down in Texas, and do another show in Dallas at the Kessler Theater. (Yes, I've been listening to 'Driving Wheel')
