Having been a wildlife rehabber, licensed by both the state I lived in and the Fed., I can truthfully say that there are animals we help and release, but if they've become habituated (whether we meant for that to happen or not) they will prefer the home environment and are no danger outside that home. The people who complained just had their panties in a twist because this beautiful couple had some success and wanted to hurt them. And they wouldn't have done anything had Mark not forced them to, by posting videos that led people to report it. He advertised it to the point they had to address it.
I wasn't sure if that was true or not so I looked it up. "No, there are no documented cases of a squirrel transmitting rabies to a human in the United States. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), small rodents, including squirrels, are almost never found to be infected with rabies and are not known to transmit the disease to humans. While rabies can theoretically affect any mammal, it is extremely rare in small rodents like squirrels, hamsters, guinea pigs, and mice. Most rabies cases in the U.S. involve wild animals like bats, raccoons, skunks, and foxes, which are more likely to carry and transmit the virus."
Not being documented is not equal to "has never happened" or "there is zero chance of happening" People may have got rabies from squirrels before but didn't know the squirrel was the vector and instead blamed some other animal. And squirrels can get infected with rabies, so they can pass it to a human of they bite a human. Also, a simple google search to fact check your "fact" results in this: " The Indian Journal of Pediatrics: A Case of Rabies after Squirrel Bite . Where a 7 year old boy dies from rabies who almost surely got it from a squirrel bite." Again, just because it has not been documented, doesn't mean is not happening or has not happened. All it mean is that it is not well documented, and as show by an actually google search, seems that such cases has been documented before.
@@AlaskanHuzky Please don't post fake information. Worldwide, there are no documented cases of squirrels transmitting rabies to humans. Rabies in squirrels is extremely rare because small rodents, including squirrels, generally do not survive encounters with rabid animals, which are typically larger predators. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the CDC both classify small rodents as low-risk for rabies transmission. Larger animals, such as dogs, bats, raccoons, and foxes, are far more common sources of human rabies cases globally.

The world has gone mad, "Calling what is good evil and what is evil as good". My deepest sympathy goes out to this family over the loss of their beloved pets. Shame on these yee haws that felt that euthanizing these animals was humane, it wasn't. And shame on whoever became so insanely jealous that they had to make a stink about someone else's business and bring this hurt, this negatively into the world. Those are their fruits and their fruits are rotten to the core.
Funny how the officers were so concerned if there were cameras present and none wore body cameras of their own. Did their search warrant mention cameras? Funny also, how in a "Sanctuary State" they were so concerned about the wife's immigration status. Did their search warrant authorize them to search for illegal aliens or were they just trying to unlawfully intimidate this couple? Funniest yet is how a "trained" group of officers carry out a search for allegedly "dangerous animals" without any protective gear allowing one of them to allegedly get bitten. There needs to be terminations, prosecutions and prison time here.
If NY is going to send people in to do these BS missions, shouldn't all of them have to had rabies vaccinations from the very beginning? Might actually help save innocent lives from the very beginning. Especially pets who weren't exposed to outside rabid animals.
Many *people have random wildlife animals as pets.* His pet raccoon & squirrel were *only taken away because he was earning money from them on social media.* The government won’t let you *profit from wildlife* unless making money from the deal in *taxes* like at a zoo. It took one jealous person viewing his channel to complain for law enforcement to act but it wasn’t a secret, they knew he had been housing those two animals but never bothered to act till someone complained. *Law enforcement won’t show the same energy* to mobilize resources and *solve actual crime* when they obviously had the time, manpower and money to do so.
UA-cam, Twitch, etc. all require you to fill out appropriate tax forms for your country of residence before you can receive a single payout, meaning the government *was* making money off of Peanut's social media presence via federal and state taxes, plus sales tax on things the family was buying with that income, like horse feed and supplies. So not only did they murder Peanut and Fred and waste a bunch of resources on all those officers and hours of searching, they've also lost the US government some of its tax revenue and hurt this family's ability to raise money for their rescue efforts. Meanwhile, how many illegal dog fighting rings do you think are in that area? How many puppy mills? 🤦🏼

FACT: There has never been a documented case of a squirrel transmitting rabies to a human...
I do know I was drop kicked by one once.
Not being documented is not equal to "has never happened" or "there is zero chance of happening"
People may have got rabies from squirrels before but didn't know the squirrel was the vector and instead blamed some other animal. And squirrels can get infected with rabies, so they can pass it to a human of they bite a human.
Also, a simple google search to fact check your "fact" results in this: " The Indian Journal of Pediatrics: A Case of Rabies after Squirrel Bite . Where a 7 year old boy dies from rabies who almost surely got it from a squirrel bite."
Again, just because it has not been documented, doesn't mean is not happening or has not happened. All it mean is that it is not well documented, and as show by an actually google search, seems that such cases has been documented before.
@@HobbitHobbit USA may not have documented cases, but other countries do have cases of squirrels giving rabies to humans.

This is so heartbreaking. Peanuts was a heart winner and these government lackies put his bright little spirit to death.
They also killed Fred his friend as well. Heartless and evil people.
