I wouldn`t be scared of the Oilers. LA didn`t play a great series. They took plenty of bad penalties, they were outplayed most of the time. And funny bounces hold them in. LAK besides the Caps and maybe Isles have been the most favorable matchup. Teams that should be terrified of, imo is FLA. They played a strong TBL team, and they just sweeped them. Or Avs, they played a cup contender and won dominant 4:1. I don`t think LAK are a bad team, but they just didn`t play their best hockey, they took a lot of stupid penalties and didn`t get their PK nor PP running. A bit like the Jets they had their down at a very unfavorable timing. If i have to bet on a cup final, i say FLA - Avs, as those teams played really scary hockey.
if Vegas is correct and the Oil beat the Nucks..... there will be nothing but skating bandaged players on crutches to play the Avs or Stars. The Nucks D will break them into cripples. They are the heaviest hardest hitting team in the NHL currently.

We’ve seen the oilers beat the kings before and it doesn’t mean anything down the stretch, the kings have been inconsistent all year, the oilers will play a real team, won’t get as many calls go their way, and they’ll get booted once again, it just always happens
LA is in a slump, they're prospect pool is still the best in the league. Just y'all wait and see the talent they have picked up. Clarke is the real deal.
They just have to trade PLD to Montreal
Once the oilers play a team with offensive output they will get destroyed lol
I find it amusing that people think they are cup contenders just cause they beat the weakest team in the playoffs...
@@tomblade They are contenders, just yeah, probably another top D away from having a real good chance. They are certainly not among the best. The certainly have much to prove. 😂 It's cute everyone's all, " they were last" 😂, yeah they pretty much do that every year. I see small strides as a team, they need more, all things being equal. But hey 🤷♂️, their chances aren't that terribly far off from 1 in 8.
@@tomblade they had the best record of the whole league since knob took over. of course they are contenders
A good team will shut down McDavid and Draisaitl and it'll be game over.
They can't score 5v5 very often.
Brother you did not watch the oil this season or pay attention to any of their 5x5 statistics in the regular season. Go look it up and come back.
Cant wait for Vcr vs Edm , think Oilers take it in 6, but this series will be a war
if Vegas is correct and the Oil beat the Nucks..... there will be nothing but skating bandaged players on crutches to play the Avs or Stars. The Nucks D will break them into cripples. They are the heaviest hardest hitting team in the NHL currently.
The kings should sign draisaitl with a salary he deserves to get - 15 mio maybe. Then they will get the win over the Oilers
Refs SUCKED this series.
But when ESPN needs their McJesus to win ...
The NHL definitely isn’t afraid. If you watched the preview they released for game three you could tell the series was basically rigged cuz it was nothing but McSatan highlights. Kings only showed up when scored on.
SOUPS COMING BACK
Please certainly won’t take the kings to the promised land😁
Go Oilers! 🤘
Please stop jinxing us
Tough luck 'kings' 😔
Sweep next year
Holy really late
Why should the NHL be terrified?
Kings have always been the luckiest team in the league
I don't know about that...the Oilers had like what 5 straight #1 Draft Picks...now,THAT'S luck.
Let’s go
OR THATS JUST HOW IT GOES WITH THIS SILLY PLAYOFF FORMAT. IT SHOULD BE BACK TO THE OLD-STYLE
Hes a sweet boy hahahahaha 😂😂
kings were soft af and terrible prep for the oilers. canucks played a tightass series against an extremely good defensive team and are warmed up nicely for this series go canucks go
VAN is going to get roasted. Enjoy.
Hello
2nd round exit not moved
PRAT THAT ALL OF THESE PEOPLE REPENT AND FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST IN JESUS NAME AMEN.✝️✝️✝️
I would like LA to remain the same
Let’s Go Oilers!!
Respect for winning round 1. But they need to beat a team other than the Kings to really be feared. The Kings were in contention with Washington as the worst playoff team. We've literally seen this story 3 years in a row and it has yet to produce anything substantial.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha haven’t laughed so hard in a while
Are you ok!
Yay
Terrified of Oilers? Lol have they won any Cups with this core?
Oilers are not scary lol
i dont think oilers are a playoff team. LA kings are just really weak and cant score. You replace that with a team like vanouver, dallas, colorado, or vegas will finish them.
@@rennald-in6pb agreed, but canucks beat a pretty decent nashville team
Nashville had insane structure in their game, and were even a worry on all fronts.
If my Golden Knights don’t win tonight and keep themselves alive to defend the cup title, than I think Canada might finally be able to bring home a cup this year! Between the Oilers, Canucks, and Leafs!
Rangers look awesome. Oilers, Avs or Rangers in my brackets
Derek Ryan “fighting off two kings” included a blatant grab on kempes stick to cause the turnover. Not a fan of that game ending non- call
don't think the kings woulda got another past skinner at that point
It's amazing how when it's done TO the Oilers, the quote is "that's hockey", but when the Oilers do it the quote is "HoW iS tHat nOt a pENaLtY!!!"
Holding the stick is just not getting called at all in these playoffs. There has been a bunch of blatant ones not being called, the one here was subtle by comparison, but I agree it should have been called
You must not have watched the series. The Oilers got away with a lot of penalties, as did the Kings. The Kings got called on much smaller penalties. For example, Doughty is on the ground and Kane is cross checking the back of Doughtys head into the ice, three times, no penalty.
Yeah, no one ever does that McDavid or Draisaitl. Lmfao. Those guys are the ones that get held, tripped, interfered with the most.
Talbot and PLD were the true heros of this series 😂😂😂 team downgrades from last year
talbot was fine, PLD sucked
Talbot was fine and was phenomenal during the season.
@@Boyo-xe5fpnow you know why we got rid of talbot back in 2019
Dubois literally played with scrubs and a revolving door at wing on the third line with getting only about 20 seconds of PP2 time and he was still top 10 in points on the Kings only behind the top 2 lines and Doughty.
@@btgkg9639if we’re talking this series, because that’s what we’re talking about herrr derrrrr, he gave us nothing but 20 pims. Leading the league in playoff pims. To the oilers aka the best power play in the west. Garbage. Top 10 in a team of scrubs is laughable at that price tag. He shouldn’t be behind any defenseman in points. If he wasn’t shite he’d have been top 6 and on 1st PP. You frenchy fan boys suck, dude.
Kings look lost in the playoffs being completly outplayed by McOilers
LA sucks not surprised they got kicked out.
No playoff team sucks
Alls gd
Colorado in 4
Good thing the avs ain’t going to the west finals
Terrifying?
