I went dark because the US is working on the combined X44 and hypersonic platform. Basically a single jet that can do mach 3 or so, handle dog dights with internal bays, and then hit hypersonic speeds when need arises to dodge faster missiles or get somewhere quick. They've shown hybrid engine tech for a few years now.. pulse engines that can do both low speed and hypersonic speed in one. Likely they are putting that along with advanced stealth and new advanced missiles in one air frame.
